My grand daughter always wants to mail me things and bugs her mom to go to post office, now she just puts then in the mail box and she is happy and then moms give to me when she sees me and she is amazed. she also receives mail from me.

Love this mailbox. We put small pieces of mail in it, so daughter can "bring us the mail". Has a plug in the side so I purchased some pea gravel to go in it so it won't tip forward when she opens the box. This worked. The only suggestion would be to make the actual box size bigger so it will hold standard sized mail.

My son drove me crazy to find a kids mailbox. I was so glad to find Step 2 had it.[...] He enjoys playing with it. I think it's very cute but just wish it was a little bit taller.

We bought this to go with our daughther's playhouse. It was a great addition. We actually put our junk mail in it and she is always so suprised when she sees that she has mail. The only downside is that it is not deep enough to fit an actual letter size piece of mail. Otherwise, we love it.

The mailbox is pretty lightweight, and can tip easily. This also makes it easier for kids to put it where they need it, tho. There is a plug in the side where you could add sand or other material for weight. Also, we use real envelopes and junk mail to play, and they don't fit in the mailbox too well. We are adjusting, tho, and it has been a good addition to our dramatic play.

My kids love creative play so this mailbox was a great compliment to our kitchen, dolls etc. My kids just love playing "mail man" and it's the perfect height for thier little ride along cars.
