Comments about Step2 4-in-1 Rock 'n Stroll Rider:
[*] The instructions are all in pictures and are hard to understand, which I could get past if it wasn't so hard to put together. The first part that I had to "slide in" absolutely wouldn't fit. Two adults tried to muscle it in, put our weight to "snap it in," and tried to flat out pound it in with a claw hammer and a 5 pound sledge. I gave up after step 13 of 50; don't waste your time with this piece of junk unless you get one that is already assembled.

right off I loved the fact that it has so many uses and really grows with your child.
I have to say putting it together was a little more work than I expected. It comes in all separate pieces (as shown below). It took me about an hour to put it together, so I recommend doing it when your child is sleeping so they don't get frustrated waiting for you.
Once assembled I liked how cute it is. This is showing it with the rocker. It's great that your baby can enjoy rocking in it once they are old enough to sit up and rock (suggested age is 1). I like that it has a yellow support bar for added support for your baby. The bar easily moves up and down so you can put your child in and out with little effort.
The rocker platforms easily remove and it is ready to roll. Your child can then stand behind it and use it as a walker or push toy. It has green feet supports they can use as you push them along.
The handle on the back raises up easily for it to become a push toy your child can ride on as you push them along.
Once your child is older you can remove the yellow support bar and it is a ride on foot to floor vehicle.
The steering wheel has a fun toy on it with buttons and knobs. It makes noise and plays cute music. It requires 2 AA batteries, not included, so be sure to have some handy.
The toy is removable so your child can play with it off of the vehicle as well.
This is a great ride on toddler toy with so many uses!

I didn't have any problem getting it together. It took just about an hour to get it all done.
A heads up though, the instuctions all all photes, so at times there was a bit of figuring out where the view point was. Also, you do have to screw throught the plastic, there is not many pre-drilled holes, but that make it hold together better.
I would suggest having a large floor area and placing all the parts out like the chart so it's easy to find, as the part them self are not labled.
It was a nice project getting it together, and a very cute toy.

My 12 month old daughter loves to ride this toy. The sound effects are interesting and unlike other toys that she has. She squeals with delight when I push her around on it. The handle is really useful and east to use. She can even practice walking around with it using the handle.

I bought this product because of the versatility...she can ride it, push it or rock on it, looks cute and is not too big.
All was fine until we opened the box and tried to put it together.
It has 8,000 pieces, a gazilion screws, the instructions are the worst I have ever come across. Two college graduates (one an engineer) have spent 3 1/2 hrs trying to get this to work. The snap on pieces don't snap...it needed more than 2 persons full weight to get it to fall in place. The plastic slots for the crews don't align, once you finaly get the screw past the first hole you get stuck because you hit a piece of plastic in the other end that shouldn't be there.
To put together the little axles and the wheels you will need one hr and 2 hamers....and take my word you will need to bang with all you've got....(tip use a tennis ball to hold the axle once you have one wheel in place).
If you could see my living room you would think it is ridiculous....2 hammers, 2 convertible screw drivers, a full set of small srew drivers, pliers, OLIVE OIL, a knife, etc, etc.
Once it is finished you notice that they could have put it in the same box but all ready...it could fit!!!
Bottom line, do not buy this....it will end a marriage...frustrate more than one, damage your floor, your little one will fall a sleep way before the toy is done....you can get soemthing that is fully ensabled for less money.
