Comments about Step2 Adventure Lodge Play Center and Sandbox Combo:
We have had this set for 2+ years. The kids love it. The only reason it got 4 stars is that the fabric on the roof shredded in the wind. Now my kids are climbing through those holes. Otherwise this is an amazing product.

I bought the adventure lodge play center for my in home child care center. The children were so excited when they saw it! I watch 4 children ages 2-4. There was plenty of room for all to play, together and independently. My husband and I put it together on a Sunday afternoon. Took some time, about 4 hours, but was not difficult. So far I am very happy with this product.

We needed a playset that was small enough to fit in a shady spot in our yard, but interesting enough to keep two young boys busy. One deciding factor was the club house area ~ large area and is safer than others we considered.
Kelly V: it is going to be tons of fun for our 19 month old!!Apr 26, 2013
Clinton F: perfect size, great reviews, customer service i was told is outstanding in case of broken missing pieces, and like the fact i can order direct from step2. I have many other step2 products including the higher end kitchen sets etc and they are great products. I am a return step2 buyer over and over. thanks clinton foxApr 22, 2013

Idanies R: Because it seems perfect for my 3-years old boy and the free shipping feature.Mar 30, 2013
Caitlyn G: The steps look easiest to climb and the combination of activities for the price!Mar 27, 2013
A shopper asked:What is the true color of the roof?Apr 16, 2013
Julie S:It was red and looked really nice with the rest of the set. This past winter(wisconsin)it has faded. The fun my boys gave had on it outweighs the color. They are now 2 and 3 1/2 and it's perfect.Apr 17, 2013
jacob b:the roof is a fabric and starts out a pretty deep red color. Our set sits in direct sun for about 3/4 of the day, and over a year faded to more of a pink color. still looks really nice.Apr 17, 2013
JaneK asked:I have a 4 year-old who is really tall for his age (currently 40 inches tall)...would this be a good investment to keep him comfortably playing for the next 3-5 years?May 5, 2013
amy w:Hi Jane, I have nothing but rave reviews regarding the quality of the play set. My son has been playing on ours since he was 2 1/2. He will be 4 in July. We have swung and slid down the slide happily for endless hours! My only hesitation based on your inquiry is, I can only see our son using it for maybe 2-3 years more. It is well made, but miniature, which is one main reason he has loved it so much so far. It is manageable and he has felt confident and competent playing on it.May 7, 2013
Cynthia B:No. My 3.5 year old is probably already ready for something else. I'd suggest getting a "bigger kid" swingset that he can grow into. We really like this set, but got it when my daughter was about 18 months and I didn't want to be holding her constantly to get up and down. At 4 years old, they are much more agile and ready for something else. Plus, I expect the swings on this will be much too small. I think you are probably out of the Step 2 arena at this point!May 7, 2013
elizabeth s:I have a 5 1/2 year old who is about 46 in tall and he still loves playing on it he has to bend over to get in the bottom but it doesn't seem to bother him. we got it when he was 3. I would recommend putting it in a shady spot the tarp dry rotted with in a year in the Texas sun. I would recommend it I also have a 2 year old who loves it to and it easy for him to get in and out of. other than the tarp roof it has held up very wellMay 6, 2013
Lisa S:My daughter is currently 5 1/2 and about 45 inches tall. The play set is still appropriate for her, but I'm not sure for how much longer. She is not able to stand in the cabin area- top or bottom- and the slide may be getting too short for her long legs. The swings may be an issue over time as well. I believe there is a weight restriction, and the entire set does move slightly when she swings(she weighs between 40-45 lbs).May 6, 2013
nicole m:Honestly no....we have a four year old and a one year old...we have had our for two years...out four year old plays on it and swinging is fine but the slide and stuff are getting small! It will be fine this year yet but in a year or two it will be kind of small....my one year old will be able to use it a few years! But we still like it!May 6, 2013
Christina D:My son is 2 currently and has this playset. Watching him play now on it and imagining him playing on it when he's 7... not too sure about that. I think he will be too big for it by then and playing with his friends in the neighborhood.May 7, 2013
Conspec Limited S:Hi Jane, this may a little young for a 5 year old but perfect for 3-4 years. Of course this totally depends on your child. It is a great piece of equipment, easy to set up and well madeMay 10, 2013
