Comments about Step2 Complete Choo Choo Train Combo - USA Edition:

We use it for everyday walk and trips to Zoo or Parks. It is so easy to remove the third wagon. As long as you have VAN Or SUV it should be easy to transport. We have Radio wagon but it's so much smoother and easier to control. Very quiet wheels. It would be perfect if it had more storage and more leg space.

Works just like it said it would! I like having a separate compartment for each child and I like that even my 6 year old can ride it in with my twins. And if only using it for the twins I use the 3rd for the diaper bag!

Comments about Step2 Complete Choo Choo Train Combo - USA Edition:

I purchased this wagon as a present for my son's 2nd birthday. He loves wagons and was jumping up and down to see this come in the door!

I really like the style of this wagon as it allows each child to have their own space. Having space for more than 2 kids allows me to use this wagon frequently. I am an in-home child care provider as well and frequently have 3-4 kids ages three and under in my care. On days when I have two or three kiddos and have to go pick up kinders from school this wagon is perfect! It is just the right size for the kids to get in and out on their own allowing me to just go down the line a snap buckles! This fosters independence and quick departures. The wagon rolls super smooth even when fully loaded with three 25+ toddlers! It can get heavy when pulling fully loaded, but the wagon itself is not overly heavy. It is very well built and I can foresee getting years of use out if this wonderful wagon!

The only things that could make this better was if the third "caboose" car had a hinge on the connector allowing it to turn easier and if there was storage under each seat instead of just the front one.

Genevieve Y: I saw the choo choo wagon in some online photos a while back and decided it would be fun for my kids. I wanted 4 different colors, one for each kid, and since the trailer is only available in orange, the USA edition allows for 4 colors. May 29, 2013

Leah D: I run a daycare and need this versatility for my 5 kids aged 6 weeks to 5 years old. I couldn't find any reviews on if a baby car seat fits into a choo choo compartment but I guess I will find out in 2-7 days!! Love this design and I know my daycare kids are never going to want to get out of it! May 2, 2013
Kelly W: I have multiple children. They would enjoy the train affect and most strollers or wagons for multiples allow them to kick each other or touch. It will take a little more effort before they are able to pick at each other. May 1, 2013
James S: birthday gift for friends Apr 28, 2013
          J. H: I have twins, and when they don't want to be in their stroller they love sitting in this wagon. They each get to be independent and have their own seats as well as 360 degree view. Plus it's just fun. We got the 3rd wagon as a option for an additional child or storage :-) Apr 24, 2013
Sara S: Loved our first one. Apr 24, 2013
Jennifer T: Awesome way to transport 3 or more children! Love it! Apr 22, 2013
          Danielle E: birthday gift Apr 22, 2013
Angelina L: Have 3 kids so we purchased the 3 car Choo Choo wagon, but wanted an extra trailer to keep diaper bag etc in. :) Love this Apr 22, 2013
MICHELLE M: My first choice was a 4 seat buggy. it was too expensive. Our daycare kids love to explore and enjoy the outdoors. This is a great way for the little ones to ride on after a tiring day back to daycare. I just hope its as durable they the review says. Apr 21, 2013
Jennifer B: I have 3 children under 2 years old and this would be great and more fun to ride in then a stroller for them. Apr 20, 2013
Bouasine X: For grand daughter and a son. Apr 18, 2013
Melissa A: To use for my in home day care so i am able to bring the children on small walks. Apr 17, 2013
Candy D: I bought this for walks and trips to the park, zoo, mall, and grocery store with 3 kids under 4. I think since they will each have their own space and cup holder it will eliminate the fighting. I will probably purchase clamp umbrellas for all day trips like to the zoo. The kids are excited because it's a choo choo. Apr 12, 2013
Pete W: Unique item. Love it. Bought 2 and are able to take our daycare kids to park, local school conveniently. Apr 9, 2013
Krista M: I have 4 children 3 and under..and I hope to be able to take them all for walks this spring and summer. Apr 7, 2013
Robert B: I chose this because I have a set of 24 month old twins and a 6 month old and didn't want a triple stroller and this hopefully, will solve my problem with getting my three little ones around without having to always wear one child! Apr 7, 2013
Alan B: We had the Choo Choo Train for our triplets. Great item! Durable. Apr 2, 2013
J Pritchard asked: What is the youngest age you have used this for? I was wondering if I would be able to use this for an 8 month old? Thanks! Aug 22, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Linda S: We bought it for the twins for Trick or Treating on Halloween when they were 22 months old. This item is recommended for ages 18 months old and up. An 8 month old may not be tall enough for his feet to reach the floor, so if you go on an uneven surface, such as going from the street up a curb to the sidewalk, he could topple over and possibly hit his head on the side even with the seatbelt on since he can't balance himself with his feet. I have a friend who bought the same item after we did and I think her twins are 7 month younger. It depends how tall and amble your 8 month old is, but I would think they would still be too young (unless you are buying it for a Christmas gift). I would suggest checking a similar wagon out in the store first before ordering online. Otherwise it is a great item and the houses we visited were impressed by it. Aug 27, 2013

Kim D: We got this for our triplets at about 18 months, but certainly could be used as soon as child has good core control. It has a lap belt. Think of being strapped in like a grocery store cart. They still enjoy it very much and people always ask about it when they see us. We got clip on umbrellas for each seat. Aug 26, 2013

Amanda R: If the 8 month old can sit up good and has good balance than yes. IF they do not than it may be difficult. It sits deep enough but is not structured for a non sitting baby. So yes an 8 month old should be fine if they are able to sit really well and have some balance. Aug 23, 2013

Heidi B: 8 months sounds a bit too young. I would say a year minimum for most kids if not 18 months. They should be able to sit up confidently by themselves. I used it with a two year old at the youngest, but she could have been in it much younger. Hope that helps. Aug 23, 2013

Kelly M: Hmmm. My triplets were a year old when we bought this. I would say that the child has to be able to sit up unassisted for awhile. It has a lap belt that is very useful! An eight month old might need more support than this provides. Aug 23, 2013

carleen b: I bought it for my triplet granddaughter's 1st birthday. They were preemies and were small for their age. I guess it would work for the average 8 month old if they sit up well. Our little ones love it! Enjoy! Aug 24, 2013

Rose L: The white wagon definitely shows dirt more than the other two, but we love rolling around feeling patriotic so it doesn't bother us that it's not Snow White. We use ours at the beach, shopping, trick or treating so it is well loved. Be prepared to be smiled at, asked questions, and be center of everyone's attention because everywhere we go people love it....or maybe it's our triplets, lol. Buy it & enjoy!!! Jul 15, 2013

Connie E: We LOVE our choo choo train! We keep it in the garage when not in use so it won't fade or get too dirty. But the grandkids love to fill it with leaves in the fall. We usually hose it off but at the befinning if this season, I used Clorox Wipe before hosing it off... perfect! We love to play like its a Cedar Point ride over the gently rolling hills in our yard! Adam S: Dear Joan:

The white one, as well as the other carts, are all super easy to clean and we are a "rough and tumble" family w/multiples (boys!). The material is the typical Step 2 hard plastic classic style and I have never had to use more than a damp cloth to clean my wagon; it still looks brand new. This is one of my most prized possessions as far as "kids toys" go and is very practical if you have multiples and/or little ones whom need their own space. M. smith

They have had a lot of fun riding in it, and they still do most of the time now that they are three. Hope this has helped you. Jul 19, 2013

Thyra B asked: How hard is it to pull a triple or quad wagon set with 40+ pound kids in each car? Wondering if the wheels help with the load. Aug 21, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Kathleen W: I am not sure I can help. We use the wagon with children 3 years and under, most of which are under 40 lbs. But, we do load it up with 3 toddlers, use is pretty much daily, and it is holding up well. It is pretty easy for an adult to pull the triple car with 3 toddlers in it. Sometimes the 4 & 5 year olds like to pull it as well. They can pull for a little ways. Often when a child pulls, another gets on the back and pushes. I suspect it would be hard to go up much of an incline with 3 kids over 40 lbs. But for short distances over flat areas a strong adult could pull. Also, the handle is wide enough that 2 people can pull together. That makes it pretty manageable to pull 3 heavier children. We actually love our little wagon. Aug 22, 2013
Reply to Kathleen Good answer? Yes (0) No (0)
Adam S: Thyra: We have the triple wagon and our multiples are well over 40 pounds at this point. Of course, as with anything, pulling 120 pounds or perhaps if 4 children, 160 pounds, that would be a considerable amount. At this point, mine are now taller and more difficult for them to fit comfortably (knees jut upward) and I would recommend it for smaller children and could not imagine pulling 120+ pounds...that is my personal/mother of multiples opinion. You may want to check w/Step 2 on the weight limits as I am uncertain of that answer. The best thing about the Choo Choo is they have their own separate area and do not get into one another's space yet I may consider a different method w/quads over 40 pounds. Aug 22, 2013

Jessica R: Love the wagon! I think when you get kids that are over 40 pounds though, you will start to "bottom out" going over certain terrain. My oldest is 6 and she is starting to make the wagon tilt towards the couplings and we get some scraping of the bottom sometimes. The others at 4 and 2 are still fine. I would not recommend putting more than one child over 40 pounds in this wagon and even then I wouldn't put them in the middle. Probably the back wagon would be best. If you are not strong, it does get challenging on the grass. Aug 22, 2013
Reply to Jessica Good answer? Yes (0) No (0)
Cynthia H: It's tough. It takes a lot of strength to pull and maneuver the wagon when fully loaded. The wheels of course help. I pull my three grandkids up hills and down. If you had level ground where you were pulling them it would be much easier. You need room for wide turns, you can not turn sharply and if pulling downhill where you get any momentum going it takes a lot of strength to bring it to a stop. The kids love it though and run over to get in it right when they see it. Sometimes they just set and play in the cars. Aug 22, 2013

Jonathan C: It is pretty heavy to pull. I am a 25 yr old female and we had four cars on out choo choo, and 3 kids totalling over 75lbs and it was doable for a few blocks to and from the park. Its probably a bit easier to pull than a regular wagon full of 75+ lbs. Another thing to keep in mind is its turning radius, it needs a good deal of space to turn. Best thing about it was all the compliments we got on how cute it was and the kids seemed to really love it! Aug 22, 2013

Joan N: Not a tough pull at all. I have three children, 46 lbs, 37 lbs, and 28 lbs. Its not hard to pull them. Although if you have three 40+ pound children you might have to use more strength to pull it. But it's a smooth pull. Wheels seem to help. We love this choo choo wagon. Many people ask us where we purchased it when they see it. We use it on many outings and it's a must for trick-or-treating on Halloween. :) Aug 22, 2013

Anne K: I pull the wagon with 3 car with approx. 35lbs in each car. It is not to bad to pull on hard surfaces but challenging to pull on grass. Like the wheels....they are rubber so they are quiet when pulling it on pavement. Love this wagon!! Aug 22, 2013

Steven A: At our indoor playground, Pee Wee Bees, I've seen six year old children pull the train on our carpet with 3 three year old children riding in it. So - not hard at all. Aug 22, 2013

Nick F asked: Go the wagon cars stack inside each other for storage in a minivan? May 11, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Lindsey K: Not really. The wheels prevent them from stacking together with any real stability. I just took it to the zoo today in my minivan and I have to set half of the back seat down to get all 3 carts in. The first 2 do not separate after you assemble the cart, but the third does disassemble fairly easily. Hope this is helpful. May 13, 2013
Reply to Lindsey Good answer? Yes (0) No (0)
Angela R: The first two wagons are bolted together and don't come apart. If you add additional wagons, they do come off but do not easily stack. That said, I have a triple and have taken it in the minivan and it fit fine with 1 seat folded down. May 13, 2013

Charles G: Two will usually fit in the back behind the seats and we put one in the empty seat. I think you can put one on top the other if needed. Hope this helps you. May 13, 2013

Amy G: No they do not stack inside each other and I feel that is the one disadvantage of them, they are hard to transport anywhere in a vehicle. May 13, 2013
