    The Easy Turn Coupe was an immediate hit here at Rock Father HQ, eagerly-awaited by our octane-obsessed daughter Adalyn, and enjoyed immensely by both she and her little sister. Assembly was a trouble-free process that lasted just shy of an hour, and Addie was climbing in before the car was even fully road-ready!

    It's winter here, so outside play isn't an option just yet, but while we don't have a ton of indoor space available, this car gets use every single day. Addie was quick to plop a toy phone into the front cup holder to emulate where Daddy puts his smartphone in the real car. In the back, she'll often place a bag full of books and dvds as she pretends to go to the library or to work like Mommy. Additionally, she has just as much fun when we put the floor in place and let her push Baby Finley around the family room. We absolutely cannot wait until the weather breaks and we can get this thing out onto the sidewalk for some 'round the block action!

    Note: As a 2013 Step2 Test Drive Blogger, and Easy Turn Coupe was sent to my family for the purpose of review consideration.

    I chose this over the other Coupe Step 2 has to offer because of the name "easy turn". It actually is terrible. The 4 main wheels aren't even real solid wheels. They are thin wheels with only one side to them, making them very flimsy. The two "turning" wheels do not turn easily on pavement or the grass. Haven't tried it inside. I push my son in it and it takes a lot of force to push while turning. My husband does not easily maneuver it either. It takes some muscle work. Also, the floor board has to be removed with unscrewing it. It would have been nice if after I was done pushing him if I could easily remove it so he could try to push it on his own. Although I am not sure how successful he would be with the turning issue. And unfortunately the steering wheel has no bearing on the way the wheels turn. Not sure how this got good reviews.

    Comments about Step2 Easy Turn Coupe™:

    Our son is 22 months old & is ALL about cars. He loves to climb in our cars, roll the windows down, & sit & play. I found this car in our Parents magazine & loved it. I felt it was priced well & loved the look. Our local retail store carries many varieties of ride in cars but weren't as well made. Ordering online & 2.99 shipping was wonderful. I received the car in 4 business days. My husband quickly put it together in around 30 minutes. I love the built in handle which is less likely to break than the pull down type. The only con I can see is the center wheel is not raisable & can't be pushed on the grass or gravel as easy as the easy steer sportster's design. The benefit of the easy turn coupe over the easy steer sportster is the removable floorboard so the children can "drive" themselves. Our son LOVES his hip new ride, & loves exploring the features. He will be the envy of the neighborhood! We are VERY PLEASED.

      It's easier for me to show you how awesome this product is as opposed to telling you. It's the deluxe version from Costco. Our little guy loves it, yours will too...

        This coupe is awesome and my youngest daughters new favorite ride. It has so many amazing features that it is hard to pick just one.

        * The entire top of the car has a see through roof.

        Yep you heard it right. Basically a sunroof for your little ones.

        * Cup holders in the front and back for lots of storage room

        * Real squeaky horn

        * Clicking turn key

        * Swivel front wheel for easy steering and allows you to rotate car 360 degrees

        * Hood that opens up

        * Handle on the back of the roof so it can be pushed

        * Removable floorboard

        * Stylish rims like mom and dads

        and so much more.

        Thank you to Step2 for letting me test drive this item as part of the Step2 Test Drive Blogger program

          We love this product. My 1 year old got this for Easter from her grandparents and she NEVER wants to get out of it. She is not a huge fan of her stroller and this is going to work GREAT during our walks and other outdoor trips like the zoo and park. I love how easy it is for a parent to push and move this car. Also, we love that you are donating to Saving tiny Hearts Society. Our daughter was born with a congenital heart defect and has had 3 open heart surgeries. We love this product!

          A shopper asked: I bought the deluxe model from Costco. This model had a retractable handle in back of the coupe. Is there any other difference besides the additional handle? I could not find this deluxe model on the web. Although recommended for 1-1/2 and older we bought it for our 9 month old grandson. We will watch him very carefully with this "toy". He is learning to walk so would enjoy climbing in and out of coupe. Maybe we'll leave the wheels off (if possible)
          until he's older or at least make it immobile at first. Any opinions? Thank you.

          Staff: The only difference between this model and the deluxe model is the handle. We do no recommend this product for children under the age of 1 1/2. We do not recommend using this product until it is properly assembled. Apr 24, 2013

          A shopper asked: Does the Easy Turn Coupe have a safety belt? Are the wheels plastic or rubber? Also, one of the reviewers' photos looks like there is a push handle coming out the back (a long, silver stick), is there a handle to attach to make it more like the Whisper Ride Push Round Buggy? Apr 14, 2013
          Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
          Jason K: There is no safety belt. The wheels are plastic. The steering wheel is a dummy so the infant can't actually turn with it...there is only a set of caster wheels in the front for steering. Not sure why the floor pan is removable because the infant has no way to steer. Propulsion is with a molded cast plastic handle built into the roof...it is killer on your back because the height is not comfortable. The handle was not available at the time we got ours last month...however, since that time, I have seen the exact same toy with a built-in push handle at Costco. While my back and I are not crazy about this "vehicle", my 2 yr old daughter loves it. Apr 15, 2013

          Ashton B: There is no safety belt, but that would be a nice addition. Our daughter is always trying to get out when we push her around. The wheels are plastic. Also, there is no long silver stick. There is a blue handle attached to the top of the roof for pushing. Turning is a little difficult with only one hand. Apr 15, 2013
          Reply to Ashton Good answer? Yes (1) No (0)
          Julia C: The easy turn does not have a safety belt and the wheels are made of plastic. There is a small handle on the back of the roof of the car, but I have never noticed where you could put an extended handle. There might be one there, but I have never really looked for it. Apr 15, 2013

          Susan L: No, there is no safety belt; wheels are plastic; the handle is built in which allows the car to be pushed with the inside floor panel attached. I would describe the handle position as that of a stroller, side to side. Apr 15, 2013

          Shirley H: No safety belt. Plastic wheels. No to handle, just a handle on top. My Granddaughter loves it, she just turned 20 months. Sometime she just pushes it around, other times she rides in it. Great investment. Apr 15, 2013

          sharon l: there is no safety belt but I wouldnt worry about falling out. It would be almost impossible. The wheels are plastic. and there is a handle attached to the roof for pushing, but no pole. Apr 15, 2013

          Courtney P: No safety belt, but we haven't had an issue with our 12 month old. Wheels are plastic. There is a handle at the roof for you to push the car but not a stick handle. Apr 15, 2013

          Tiffany T asked: We just received this yesterday and everything seems good, although the door could be a little tighter. But what bugs me is the front hood. I don't know why but it won't close all the way. It keeps looking like it's popped open. I checked and noticed it's not the right fit to the front of the vehicle. The hood seems wider and that's why it can't close all the way. Is the front hood defective or did I put the screw at the top of the vehicle too tight together? I'm afraid if that portion is not tight, then you can't turn the vehicle by using the handle because the car would end up being floppy. Apr 26, 2013
