We bought this kitchen as a Christmas present for our 20 month old. We had no idea she would love it so much! It's the first toy she goes to when she wakes up. It's the perfect size for her with some room to grow. So many features and I love that they included play food and dishes. She loves sitting on the stool and eating her snacks at the bar.
I do wish that the cash register was actually bolted onto the counter because it keeps falling when she tries to run the credit card through. The plastic window for the bakery is cloudy and so it's difficult to see the bakery items on display. Other than that, it's a great kitchen/market.
the directions were confusing and it was hard to put together but the kids love it! i believe it should do more for the cost as far as the features like lights and sounds.

Sheryl asked:What would be upper age limit proportionate to size? I have younger children but my year old loves playing store. Would it be much, much too small for her?Apr 20, 2013
Zachary S:IMO it's a perfect size for a 1 yr old. There are enough things to keep a little one busy even if they can't yet reach the upper cabinet etc... I would be cautious if your child still puts things in his mouth as some of the accessories may not be appropriate for use until he (or she) is a bit older. This is a great kitchen & one that your child will enjoy as they grow. Our 2 year old twins play with it every day. We are more than satisfied with this purchase!Apr 23, 2013
Georgianne R:My 6 year old still plays with it with my almost 2 year old. He's on the small side but he still "fits" size-wise. We got it for my daughter when she was 1.5, and though she was a little small for it, she loved it right away, and it wasn't too small. It has been a great purchase, they play all types of "pretend" games with it.Apr 22, 2013
Kate S:My kids are 1 1/2 and 3 and they are a little young to use all of the kitchen's features. I think kids 5-7, maybe older could really have some fun setting up the store and running the little kitchen/cafe. Apr 22, 2013
Teresa H:I bought this for my grandchildren who are ages 4 and 2. In my opinion, children up to age 6 could use this Bistro set without size limitations being a factor.Apr 22, 2013
Alyson A:How old? Year was cut off. We bought in for my 2 year old and she loves it. Probably 7 or 8 would be tail end for this item. Ideal age for item is 4/5Apr 22, 2013
