My 20 Month old son loves this kitchen. He plays with it at some point every day. The kitchen has several doors including the oven, refrigerator and oven that he loves to open and close. The sounds that the stove, oven, microwave and phone make are also great. This kitchen has many realistic qualities that make it fun for our son. The assembly was relatively easy. It took my husband just under an hour to put it together including placing the stickers. We also purchased the set of 101 play food assortment. We have the play kitchen in our real kitchen and he plays while we cook clean etc...

Comments about Step2 LifeStyle™ Master Chef Kitchen:

My 3.5 yo loves her kitchen. I appreciate the fact that it is gender neutral, as well. The accessories are fun, appliances are recognizable, and quality is good. No, it's not pass-down-through-several-generations quality, but it's good. My son and daughter undoubtedly will have lots of years of fun with this one. For the price, you can't go wrong. I HIGHLY recommend!

Everything was great until I realized one of the cabinet doors was missing. I couldn't even be bothered with complaining to the company. The only good thing is it just looks like an open shelf. Other than than my 17 month old lives it

Comments about Step2 LifeStyle™ Master Chef Kitchen:

It was a birthday gift for our 2-year old daughter. The assembly was super easy. My husband and I did it in about two hours watching TV (i.e. taking short breaks).

It is true that the holes were not pre-drilled but it only makes sense because otherwise, the screws could have been loose in them. Also, this was not a problem since there are only a few (maybe five) big screws that require some effort/pushing to screw them in. I was really surprised how few of them there were in the pack to be used during the process.

Everything else is really easy: unscrewing a light box/stove top/microwave/oven panels (buttons on them do make sounds) apart to insert batteries (not included) and screwing it back together to later snap them in place; putting stickers on spice bottles and the kitchen itself; inserting all the accessories. There wasn't much more work involved.

It is a sturdy construction, occupying our daughter every day. We also got her a set of fruit with pieces attached to each other with velcro that you can peel or take apart. She uses the kitchen's countertop to "cut" the fruit. She makes coffee, cooks and fries most often. We also had a set of felt cupcakes that she now puts in the oven.

I hope she will use it for years to come given that being almost 35 inches tall, she still needs to extend her arm high up to reach things placed in the upper cabinets.

Overall, it is a great product definitely worth recommending.

We bought this for my 2 year old daughter for her birthday. She loves it! Especially all the working buttons and lights! My 4 year old son loves to play kitchen with her. It is great for one or two children. Built very well. My husband had no problems assembling it. It provides hours of entertainment. I would reccommend this to all parents!
