My 20 Month old son loves this kitchen. He plays with it at some point every day. The kitchen has several doors including the oven, refrigerator and oven that he loves to open and close. The sounds that the stove, oven, microwave and phone make are also great. This kitchen has many realistic qualities that make it fun for our son. The assembly was relatively easy. It took my husband just under an hour to put it together including placing the stickers. We also purchased the set of 101 play food assortment. We have the play kitchen in our real kitchen and he plays while we cook clean etc...

The problem was not product, my daughter wants to play with it, the issue is that there are a ton of parts missing and the company still have yet to deliver them and it's been three weeks! she got it for Christmas and she can't even play with it! Apparently the company hand puts the parts in the box and adds their signature, everything was checked off so I don't know who the guy was that actually put the parts in the box (name in signature area said S. Horvath) but he checked everything off even though the baskets, the food, the coffee pods, and most importantly the hardware to put the whole kitchen together was missing. The customer service wasn't any better, all of those people sounded ignorant and rehearsed. The first 2 people I spoke to told me that the products would be at my house within a week and three weeks later they have yet to arrive with a arrival date apparently of January 10. I wouldn't recommend this product to my worst enemy because I wouldn't want any other parents to have to go through the things that I had to go through and I paid for the kitchen! This was one of my daughters big Christmas gifts and she can't even use it so thank you step2 for ruining that for her. All negativity aside if none of this had happened and my daughter could play with the kitchen I would recommend it because it is a very cute product

Comments about Step2 LifeStyle™ Master Chef Kitchen:

My 2 1/2 year old granddaughter loves it. It is large enough for 2 children to use without getting in each others' way. She uses the telephone and cooks all the time. I can't wait for her baby sister to get old enough to join her in the fun. Quality product, my daughter and son-in-law give me lots of positive feedback on it. My advice is to put the stickers on and batteries in before you begin to put it together

Comments about Step2 LifeStyle™ Master Chef Kitchen:

Great little kitchen. I like all the noises which helps keep young children interested. The only thing this kitchen lacks is drawers for silverware. The fridge and cuboards coud be a little bit bigger so children could put more than 2 cups, plates or bowls in them.

Comments about Step2 LifeStyle™ Master Chef Kitchen:

My granddaughter loved this kitchen! My biggest issue was in the assembly; it took 2 of us a couple hours to put it together because we kept having to refer to the instruction sheet to try to determine where we were in the set-up. Better pictures (or drawings) would definitely be helpful as well as a re-designed instruction sheet indicating the step-by-step sequence more clearly. It really wasn't rocket science to do, but the instructions could have been simpler.

Amy M: All of the buttons on the phone make sounds. There's touch tone sounds, busy signal, a ringing sound, and a dialing sound. The microwave and oven buttons make noises, and an eye on the stove makes sizzling sounds when a pan is placed on it.

We bought this kitchen for our 2 year old daughter. She is 5 now and plays with it daily.

A shopper asked: I'm a 75 yr old grandma of a 2 year old. Can I assemble this product easily? Jul 15, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Kimberly M: It took me about 2 hours, without interruption, to assemble the product. It does take a bit of strength, and a rather large open area to put the kitchen together (maybe 6x6 feet of open space or more). You have to turn the kitchen on its side, etc many times. Step 2 has great, easy to follow instructions. I recommend an electric screwdriver and patience! Bottom line, you may want an extra pair of adult hands, but I think that you can do it. My kids (4 and 17 months) LOVE their kitchen!!! Jul 15, 2013
Reply to Kimberly Good answer? Yes (0) No (0)
Amy B: It is pretty easy to put together as long as you have a screw gun. Because the screws are hard to screw in with just a regular screwdriver. ( I know because that is how I decided to put it together) Jul 15, 2013
Reply to Amy Good answer? Yes (0) No (0)
Heather E: There are lots of small bits that are used to put it together. It took my husband (who is quite handy) a while. You may want a second pair of hands. It is worth it! Jul 15, 2013
