I WISH IT HAD CAME WITH REFLECTORS INSTEAD OF NUMBERS, ITS HARD TO FIND ONE THAT FITS THE SPACE. IT WOUL DJUST BE A NICE OPTION. I HAD TO CUT OUR POST, WHICH WAS ALWAYS AT A NORMAL HEIGHT, SO BEWARE AND HAVE A SAW HANDY JUST IN CASE. THIS ONE REPLACED OUR OTHER ONE AND IT WORKS GREAT. THE INSIDE IS A BIT TIGHTER THAN THE METAL ONES, BUT IT KEEPS IT DRY AND NO REPAINTING FOR LIFE! (ALSO WOULD BE NICE IF IT HAD A FLOOR FLOWER BOX NEXT TO IT, SINCE IT HAS A WINDOW AND LOOKS LIKE A HOUSE.

I do not like the back and front post of the mail box. I can not understand why ANYONE would put the green back cover on it, my neighbor has the same color as the post, and what a difference it makes. I know it is an older one and why can't you make two small covers to hide the bolts on the front. even if the price was a litter more, it sure would be worth it. and if I had not opened it, and my grandson put it up, I would have sent it back.
You have a very nice product, but I these changes would show much more quality in the design.

Comments about Step2 MailMaster® Villager Mailbox:

It needs pop-in covers for the bolts. The bolts show on the presenting face of the product-distracts from the beauty of the product. we have had many strangers comment on the "Bird house appearance" of the product as opposed to "just another plastic mailbox". Even the mail carrier left a note on the unique design. Why isn't it available at [@] and [@] ?This is a classy product. Eye-catching. Very pleased.

Did not come in color stated or color that was stated on box. Color from ad and box was color was STONE and SPRUCE. I got a awful beige color and spruce. The beige color does not go with anything on my house thats why I ordered gray.

Comments about Step2 MailMaster® Villager Mailbox:

This is a sturdy well-crafted product like all Step 2 items. This goes well with our dark green house and my 3-year-old loves to get the mail from the BACK side and does not have to step into the street to get the mail. A 4-year-old kid came running over as we put it up and said, "Wow, cool mailbox." After the 3 hour process of going to the store, getting a post, digging a deep hole, filling it with quickcrete, we got the post in the ground. After the post was secure the next day, the mailbox just needed to be screwed into the post--about a 5-10 minute job. We put the mailbox on the post and set it at grass level to make sure it would set at the right height and used a level to make sure the post was perfect. It is very sturdy and secure now.
