We are very pleased with this set. I have a home daycare and have children ranging in ages from birth to 4-5. I have researched many, many outdoor swingsets and found that many are just too high for the younger children. This set has a cool "fort" under, which is perfect for the little toddlers, and another fort above, which is great for the ones able to climb the ladder. Again, the height is great. Just enough for them to feel like they are up high, but still safe. The set is sturdy and was fairly easy to put together. My husband and my 11 year old son worked on it together and completed it in about 4 hours. He is pretty handy with tools, but it should be easy for someone who maybe isn't as handy, just follow the directions. It was missing just one piece of hardware, not bad :). It was just one nut that holds the handle by the slide together. My only other complaint, like many others, is that the swings are WAY too high!! It would be impossible for anyone under the age of 8-9 to be able to get on by themselves, and if they somehow did, I feel the height would be very unsafe if they were to fall. This isn't too much of a worry for me, as we have ordered full bucket infant/toddler swings to use with it, since we have both very young babies and toddlers using the set. I have attached a photo with the original swings so you can get an idea of just how high they truly are. I will keep the swings it came with for my older children, 11-12, if they want to use them. This set is definately sturdy enough for the biggest kids also! As much as I like the look of some of the wooden sets, I feel that being able to rinse this set off when dirty, paired with the bonus of NO SPLINTERS, make this set a really smart choice! Overall, we are very happy with our purchase and would definately recommend this set!!

We put it in the backyard so that our 2 1/2 year old could play in the backyard. The glider is good, but the ropes on the swings are very short so our son who is pretty tall for his age needs help getting in and they don't swing as good because of how short they are. the stairs to the slide are good, but the slide is not as tall as you might think it would be from the description.

Post has broken after it was hit by lawn mower. Called Step2. Certain parts can be replaced but not the post. Since it is made of molded plastic need original part to fix.
Considering the price, Step 2 should stock all replacement parts. Who wants their kids to use a swingset with a broken post?

At seventy I wanted a play set for my great grandsons. I was pass the wood sets and having all types of Step Two products in the pass made me check them out. Wow this set was just perfect. Big, easy to put together and good looking. The look on my great grandson's face said it all! Thank you for the love of children your people that comes up with these ideas must have. Would highly recommend this play set.

We bought it as a birthday gift for all our grandchildren, since it offers something for every age. It exceded our expectations and is so sturdy it even holds grown-ups. The only problem we encountered during the assembly was that the nuts and bolts were not clearly identified which took some figuring out what went where.

THIS PRODUCT WAS PURCHASED FOR OUR GRANDCHILDREN TO USE WHEN THEY COME TO VISIT. THEY ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT. WE GET A PHONE CALL EVERY NIGHT ASKING IF THEY CAN COME OVER THE NEXT DAY TO PLAY. IT SURE KEEPS THEM BUSY AND THEY ENJOY EACH OTHERS COMPANY. THANK YOU STEP 2, WE ARE VERY HAPPY THAT THE CHILDREN ARE HAPPY!!!

The only problem I had was the rope ladder doesn't seem to be long enough to reach from the top bar to the anchor. I had to buy an added length in order to attach it.
