Play Ball Fun Climber™

The Play Ball Fun Climber™ by Step2 is a different than any kid’s climber you have seen before! This climber allows toddlers and preschoolers to enhance their gross motor skills as they climb the ladder, slide down the slide, and crawl underneath. They will also develop their fine motor and sensory skills by grabbing and squeezing the play balls as they throw them through activity center. Kids can play with the Play Ball Fun Climber together or separately! The play balls can enhance cognitive skills as children pair the balls by color and count them as they go through the maze. The Play Ball Fun Climber is a never ending adventure for your little ones! Made in USA of US and imported parts. Accessories made in China.

  • Climb the stairs to access the platform and pretend to be a pirate protecting the ship

Comments about Step2 Play Ball Fun Climber™:

This climber has been a great way for my 20 month old daughter to explore going up stairs, and down a slide. I like the way that the this toy allows her to ball in a mutlitude of ways. She can climb up the stairs and sit at the top, and then slide down. She can also play with the ball drop. We can't wait to get it outside and use the water basin.

Thanks to Step2 for allowing us to try the Play Ball Fun Climber as part of their toy tester program.

Comments about Step2 Play Ball Fun Climber™:

Although it says for ages 1 1/2 to 4 I purchased this for my one year old climber! (Of course I stand right there with my hands around her ready to catch if needed.) She LOVES this! She can easily climb up the stairs on her own. The open "window" part (opposite the ball wall) is a concern for her falling off but I'm sure as she gets older this will not be an issue. Probably why the age suggestion isn't for 1 year olds.
She LOVES the balls too! I'm very happy I purchased this.

My 15 month old twins love this just as much as my 4 year old daughter. We purchased additional balls for our three kids. Great way for kids to learn to climb, slide, and play independently!

Picture shows using a hammer and piece of wood... this doesn't seem to be working!

Sarah W: That was extremely hard for me too. I had to put all my weight into it, shimmying it from side to side until it finally snapped in. Sorry it's not much consolation, but I hope it at least helps to know that you weren't alone with the package instructions not working. Jun 2, 2014

Melinda B: Thanks Sara, I will try that! Did you use a piece of wood for this step? Jun 2, 2014
Sarah W: No, I didn't use wood at all. I'm pretty sure I just put my whole body weight into getting that piece into place. Jun 3, 2014
Melinda B: Thanks Sarah, I did what you suggested and it worked!!! That part needs to be added to the instructions.
Trying to get this put together before my grandson comes over tomorrow. ;) Jun 3, 2014

April W: I got stuck on this as well. Spent a good 30 minutes with the wood and hammer and it would not go in all the way and would just slide out past the hole whenever I tried. Ended up getting frustrated and just stepped on it with my foot and it popped right in... did the same with the other side and it popped right in as well. Took about 5 seconds! Sep 13, 2014
