I was really upset. I got this large heavy box home. I unpacked it only to findout pieces were missing. Unfortunately, my daughter saw the slides and started to cry when I had to repack it to return to the store per the manager instruction. Now my daughter has to wait [...] for a replacement.

Comments about Step2 Play Up Double Slide Climber™:

I bought this as a package with two other Step 2 products after much debate, and I wish I had chosen another climber. My daughter was 20 months old when we got it and at first sight, I was disappointed by it's size. I thought it to be larger than it is, and now at 2 years old, you really can't have more two children playing on it at once. The shorter slide doesn't really get used, as my daughter rarely slides down it. I will say that it is easy to move around if need be, and my daughter does LOVE playing on it. I think Mommy is really the only one disappointed. Definitely not for 6 year olds, if our daughter enjoys the climber next summer I think I'll be happy, but can't see a 6 year old wanting to play on it.

Comments about Step2 Play Up Double Slide Climber™:

Our 17 month old is having the time of his life climbing on this thing and sliding down over and over again. It's seem very durable and if this proves to be just like other Step 2 products, it will last for years if taken care of!

The structure was fairly easy to assemble. I did it by myself with a power drill and it took an hour. Be sure not to confuse the bolts...there is ONE that is longer than the others by just a little bit! Took me extra time to find it since I had already bolted it in in the wrong place!

Comments about Step2 Play Up Double Slide Climber™:

Chose this since my toddler seemed to be liking slides a lot and this one actually had 2. The smaller slide is a bit small for ~2-3yr olds but is good enough to introduce to younger kids. Though the makers claim that 6yr olds can be interested in it, I am yet to see that - so cannot refute it for now. The colors are very attractive and the tall climber is fairly safe. Best kept in backyard for soft landings. Well optimized for size and price, very easy to assemble (not so easy to disassemble when you get ready to sell/upgrade).

Comments about Step2 Play Up Double Slide Climber™:

I was lucky enough to recently find this product used on [@]. I paid [$]. for it & it is in mint condition. My 16 month old daughter loves to climb so this works really well for her. She can climb it & go down both slides without my help. That being said, I don't really see her using this to the age of 6 as indicated - more like 4. So I'm really glad I didn't pay full price for it. I gave it a 4 not a 5 simply because the listed price of [$] is way overpriced for this product considering most kids probably won't use it past age 4 or 5. I will tell you that it fell off the back of my dad's truck going down the highway because we didn't have it secured properly and other then a few scratches, there was no damage at all. That shows how durable the Step 2 products are.

Step2.com Store asked: Why did you choose this?
Heather P: My 26 month old is tall, loves to climb and slide. This item does not have a roof, like many, that limit the height of a child to stand, making them stay hunched over. This will grow with him over the next years. The slide is bigger than the "baby" type slides that are so close to the ground and short in length, limiting the fun. My neighbor has a slide that my son loves and this was the closest I could find, but her slide is taller and longer because it goes all the way to the ground. Aug 26, 2014
Jennifer M: Good reviews on amazon. Also doesn't have roof which is good b/c our daughter is tall. Aug 13, 2014
Rosalinda M: For my son's 2nd birthday gift. Something small enough we can keep tucked away in our back yard and fun enough he can play and enjoy himself without having to go to the park everyday Mar 16, 2014
Allison T: I read reviews that say children of various ages like this. My son is 21 months and our neighbor is 3 years old. Hopefully having two slides will keep them both busy! Jan 21, 2014
Pepper L: for a toddler program at a daycare center Aug 28, 2013
    Andrea B: Nursery Aug 23, 2013
Jody B: I have 2 small grandchildren a 2 year old and a 15 month old I thought this looked fun for them to play on and something not to big that they could play on by themselves. I went by the recommended age. Jul 25, 2013
susan w: My two year old grandson loves to climb. This double sider climber looked perfect with the added space for his 3 year old big brother to join him. Jul 23, 2013
Todd S: Looks fun, safe and secure Jun 26, 2013
Christopher F: Smaller than most playgrounds, but has a double slide. Jun 13, 2013

A shopper asked: Can this product be used inside? Sep 22, 2013

    Catherine G: Hi there,
To answer your question yes you could use the double slide climber inside if you have a large area. We could pull it into our basement playroom in the winter so the kids could still use it. Also if you had a childcare facility it would work there. Hope that helped. My children still love to play with our double slide climber!

Carol M: Hi, yes this could be used indoors. I would make sure to put it on carpet to prevent scratches on floor and sliding around. Make sure to have some "running around " room too! Sep 23, 2013

Ryann S: If you have the room for it, sure! I would suggest using it over a foam pad (garage) or on carpet if it's used in a room inside. Good luck! Sep 23, 2013
