I bought this for my child care. The kids like to play on it; it keeps their attention for a short period of time. There are not too many fun things to play with on it. They can swing, play with the captain's wheel, climb up stairs, go down slide, and hide under the slide/stairs. The swing has a harness but it is too small for any of the children I watch. I called the company and they promptly sent a replacement harness, works great! The slide is a little short, only meant for toddlers. The stairs/slide are kind of small, so only one child can play at a time.

Grandma bought this item for my 1-1/2 year old daughter for christmas. I like the slide, but the swing is useless. The straps are way to small. The straps over the shoulder are okay, but the strap between the legs are either to short or not centered properly. Not sure if this is a defect or just poor workmanship. I have placed a call to the manufacturer regarding this product.

Cons

  • Boring
  • Short stair landing
  • Wheel doesn't turn

Best Uses

  • Individual Play

Comments about Step2 Play Up Toddler Swing & Slide™:

It was pretty easdy to assemble so I liked that. the landing area at the top of the stairs is very small though so I can't let my 1 1/2 year old be there by herself in fear she will fall.
the swing doesn't go very high so my daughter gets bored pretty quickly.
Also, the steering wheel doesn't turn easily. I dont know if it's just out swing set but honestly it's hard for me to turn it.
I wish there was more for the kids to do especially for the price.

Service and delivery comments:

redesigning the swing so it can fit up to 4 yrs old like recomended. i had to lenghten the crotch strap on the harness so i can buckle my 1 1/2yr old who only weighs 30 lbs and is 3ft tall. the swing does not swing smoothly either. lets see what you all can some up with. i do love your products and will keep buying them.

Comments about Step2 Play Up Toddler Swing & Slide™:

We got this for my son as a gift for his first birthday. He loves it. He's 17 months now. He loves the little slide, climbing under the slide/ladder, the swing, and swinging the empty swing, too. The only downside is that it doesn't swing very high, so the swing can get boring...I did get this from a consignment store for about $70. I'm not sure how I'd feel if I paid full price.

Comments about Step2 Play Up Toddler Swing & Slide™:

This is their indoor playset and they love it! They received it as a gift on their first birthday. We were never able to buckle them in the seat since the strap between their legs was way too short. I contacted the company to voice my concern. Now that they are almost two, they jump in/out of the swing and have so much fun sliding down the slide and hiding under the slide. Just be aware of the short strap!

Geraldine E: I purchased this item for two of my grandchildren: the first time about seven years ago and most recently, last year. Both of the children were a year old, they both enjoyed the swing past the age of two. I'm not sure about the weight limit. My grandchildren loved this item and I know that my eight month old granddaughter will enjoy it this spring. Apr 1, 2013
