Comments about Step2 Sand & Water Fun Farm:
Easy assembly, tricky sticker placement. My 1.5 yo loves it though. Barn, tracks and windmill fall off so I might Gorilla glue them on. Won't use for water AND sand, just one or the other. Kiddo is happy, momma is content. She has just as much fun with it dry, it just came today and have not yet filled it. Tracks are narrow, developmentally it is hard fine motor compared to everything else geared towards small hands. Bummed there is no drain. Overall it will provide many hours of indoor or outdoor fun. Versatility great for Pacific NW weather!

Comments about Step2 Sand & Water Fun Farm:
I bought this as a gift for my 18 month old for Easter and he really seems to love it, but I don't. The assembly of it was simple, no problems. It has been pretty rainy here so at first my son only could play with it indoors with no sand or water and at first I thought it was a good toy. I did like all that it came with so many toys. He LOVES the windmill, however he is able to yank it off fairly easily, as well as the gate and the sign...which he does OFTEN. The barn also never stays there because it's not attatched...it just rests on the side. The water/sand wheel that is supposed to spin doesn't really spin either. And as for the tractor and wagons it pulls they come apart so easily that as soon as my son starts to push them around they come apart and he is CONSTANTLY bringing them to me to put together again. But all of those things I can live with, what REALLY annoys me is that there are NO DRAIN HOLES and NO COVER! Therefore if you put sand in one side and water in the other you would have to maually scoop out the sand before you have to tip the table over to dump out the water to clean it. And without a cover you HAVE to clean it out because if you leave it outside, and it's windy it will get leaves in it and make the water gross, or if it rains it fills up both sides with water and then all you have is gross mud, not to mention all the lovely bugs that seem to flock to it each night. And on top of that if you have dogs, since it has no cover it leaves all the toys out in the open for their chewing pleasure as well...now we have no tractor. My vision of having this outside so my son could play on the deck while I drank my morning coffee and he was kept happy and occupied was just a fantasy. Now I find myself cleaning it out each night after bedtime and each morning before I have my coffee. My son loves it, and I hate it. I refuse to put sand in it again for the simple fact that makes it too hard to clean out. I've had to get a mesh bag to put all the toys in after he's done playing with them to allow them to dry and to keep them out of the dogs reach. I'm going to look for some kind of grill cover that I can use as a cover for this in hopes of keeping it safe from the dogs, bugs, wind, and rain and just hope it works. I would get rid of it, but I just bought it and want it to last thru the summer at least...then it may be resold to some other poor unfortunate soul so I can find one next year that has drain holes and a cover.

Comments about Step2 Sand & Water Fun Farm:
We bought this over the weekend for our 2 and 4 yr old..The girls like it, but 4 yr old gets bored faster then the 2 yr old..The table was easy to put together, but did mix the stickers up on the sides..I wish it had a cover and we put both sand and water in the table wish the water had a plug because I had to get a bucket to get sand out to clean water. SO I think I will just add water to both sides.. i would buy again. They both like the train and animals that come with it.
Service and delivery comments:
needs a plug for both sides and a cover on top for bugs not to get in at night.

Hi, I have two kids, 1yr and 4yrs, thye both love this toy. We haven't used it with sand yet, but the water works great for the whole thing! :-) I slao agree it needs plugs for sand and water sides.. but works great the way it is. It could also use a top, you know to cover the sand and water while your not playing with it. we have a sheet over our to keep cats out. Overall its worth buying.. the KIDS don't know the difference of these few thigs so they LOVE IT!
