This product does take a little bit of practice but I think all carriers do. Once you are used to how it works it is very easy to use. I had tried another carrier but it had no back support and the shoulder straps were too thin and they dug into me. The Sash carrier has wide straps and back support so it is very comfortable. I also like how the fabric is sturdy but breathable so baby and I don't get hot. It is also easy to fold or wrap up and take on trips. I like the versatility of this carrier and the straps are long enough for my husband to wear and use it as well. I have enjoyed long walks with my baby and don't feel discomfort.

this product is easy enough to put on and very comfortable for me but my infant hates it and he finds it uncomfortable obviously indicated by his screaming.... now that he's a bit bigger but not quite toddler his legs get squished n crunched up inside, the material is too wide for his legs to hang out the sides...my little one wanted to be carried around all day, so i thought well i'll try the sash again, since it worked good as a newborn he snuggled right in and even suckled... but he was freaking out.. his legs are too long to squish inside the sash...but the sash is too wide for his torso and he cant dangle his legs out the sides. i now went from loving it for him as a newborn to hating this sash for an infant...i believe as a toddler this sash is likely a best fit but during his size as an infant no words describe how disappointed i've become today

Comments about Infantino Sash™ - Modern Damask:

I run a nonprofit that distributes carriers to low income families, and have found that this is the most versatile carrier at an affordable price. An extra flip at the waist can make the body of the carrier fit a smaller baby more comfortably, and you can gather and adjust the fabric under baby's bottom to make it narrow or wide enough for infants and toddlers to have the knee-to-knee support that they need. The addition of the detachable hood is great, too!

Comments about Infantino Sash™ - Modern Damask:

I was so excited to recive this carrier I used it right away. At 2months my baby was uncomfortable in it. She would need to straddle me with the carrier under her legs. There is no way for her tiny body to get comfortable doing that. Now that she is 4 months old, we hit a sweet spot. She fits in just fine, the carrier is super convenient and she is not too heavy to carry. We have used the carrier for the beach, park and other long walks where the stroller just isn't the best option. We have even used it for baby wearing when she isn't feeling so good or she wants arms and I'm doing household chores. It's worked out great.

Comments about Infantino Sash™ - Modern Damask:

We have three children who were adopted five years ago. At that time I had another carrier for my daughter that worked out okay. We got rid of it when she was too big to need it. We are now in process of adopting a 5 month old out of foster care and I needed a new carrier. I tried one similar to the one I had with my daughter but hated it. I returned it and found this one. While it is true that it takes a bit of practice to get in on and situated, I now have a system that takes less than a min to put on.
This carrier is super comfortable and easy to wear for long periods if time. I have two herniated and one bulging disk that give me trouble but I can wear this carrier for hours. Out little man wasn't real thrilled with it the first try but I kept working with him. The instructions say wear for 20min at a time the first few times. I did that and by the 3rd time he was perfectly content. I am so happy to have found this carrier! It is perfect. I wish I had it with my daughter. Speaking of which she can still fit in the carrier when worn as a back back and she is now a healthy 6year old. I am looking forward to years of use from it!

I bought this for my third child after using wraps with my first two. This thing is impossible to tie up properly! I have no idea how one is to hold a baby in place, throw straps over their shoulders, criss cross them, tighten them, oops don't drop the baby, tie them, oh wait too loose!, reposition the baby and retighten. Tomorrow it goes back for an Ergo.

Comments about Infantino Sash™ - Modern Damask:

My husband and I do foster care and we recently had our own baby in December. We wanted to take a trip to the zoo and I needed something to carry my baby. I saw this in the store and thought I would try it out. My little guy loved it. He loved being close to his Mommy and he ended up napping while we walked around the zoo. Now when we go on walks he wants to be in this carrier and not in his stroller.

I love this carrier. I just wish that it was a little bit easier to get on. I wish it was easier to do with one person. It really takes two people to put this on.
