I bought this for my 16 month old for an early Christmas present since she loved to climb into small places I thought this would be a great hide away for her. We use it in our play room and she loves to play in it with the other little girl that I babysit.

She loves to open and shut the door and shutters and will ring the door bell over and over.

The only thing I would of liked is for more toy accesories for the amount of money.

    We love this playhouse. My daughter is 2 years old and we use it in her playroom. Our plans are to take it outside when the weather is a little nicer. It is fairly large, so be sure you read the dimensions. No surprises if you really read the product information. The height, size, openness, working doorbell and fun little phone are great! As far as cons, I can't really find any. I read some reviews saying it needs a floor, but if you plan to take it outside, I'm not sure a floor would be very helpful in uneven grass and ground. We added a little playmat that actually fits the house perfectly and couldn't be happier. The only reason I didn't put 5 stars is because I haven't seen it perform outside yet.

        Ryan C: No it doesn't have a floor but I think that's for the best because if you are using it outside puddles would gather on a floor and for indoor use ( it's in my little girls room ) her carpet is much nicer to sit/stand/kneel on than a hard plastic base. Hope this helps! Mar 29, 2013

        Kari L: We purchased a waterproof tarp (at Home Depot, approx. $60) to cover it during the winter/rainy season here on the West Coast. Now that it's sunny, we leave it open and during the day let the sun dry it out. We also use clorox wet wipes to clean out the nooks and crannies before use (if it's been a while since our daughter played in it). My husband has also used a power hose sprayer (for the first time we took it out after the winter) to do a thorough clean off. May 27, 2013

        Jill R: We wash it down with our hose or pressure washer (not too close with the later) and then wipe it down with a cloth. If water has gotten on the inside of the walls I'd get four small blocks of wood to put under each of the corners for the water to drain out if it's gotten in somewhere. Depending on where the water can enter the inside of the walls you may want to try tipping it over on one side or another to drain. Hope this helps! May 27, 2013

The dimensions listed on the product page for this playhouse are from the outside of the playhouse and also measure the longest point of the product from front to back (including the flip out BBQ grill).         Kari L: If placed indoors, it would take up a good amount of space. We put our playhouse outdoors in the backyard. It occupies a nice corner of the paved part of our patio. There is room inside for 2 small (kid-sized) plastic chairs and at least 2-3 kids, or 1 kid + 1 adult (if you crouch down). May 27, 2013
