Comments about Infantino Union™:

Definitely not an Ergo or Beco but it's a sixth of the price they are. It has fleece lining so it gets hot quickly. I wish it positioned my son knees higher, sometimes I believe it's putting his legs to sleep after a hour. Also wish it had a hood and pocket but again for the price I can add my own. I picked it up on sale for under $20 for my husband but find that I grab it more than my wraps or babyhawk. Definitely a better option for keeping baby hips in a more natural position. Unfortunately it will be far to hot come spring and summer. And I don't see it lasting us until 40 pounds but my son does have a big fluffy cloth booty. Also wish the top came up a little more past his neck so my son couldn't throw his head back as toddlers so love to do.

Seems more suitable for taller parents

    Comments about Infantino Union™:

Tried to help my daughter put this on to carry her 2-mo-old-- My daughter is of average/petite build 5'2" - 5'3" with long torso and this carrier is way too long for her to use. Putting it at her abdomen/waist puts the baby almost on her shoulder, not at the "kiss the top of his head" area. It also thus allows the baby's legs to get a bit smushed in the band at the bottom. We'll let dad try it -- he's much taller and it may work well for him. The product seems sturdy, lightweight, and durable. I had to select "would not recommend" because many of our friends would not be tall enough to utilize.

      Comments about Infantino Union™:

When I first bought this carrier less then 2 months ago, I was satisfied with it. My baby was comfy, it kept him ergonomically seated, and it was fairly comfy for me. Although the chest/back strap is hard to close when baby is in the front. While I was using it this past weekend, I noticed that one of the straps was starting to rip away from the body of the carrier. This is concerning for me as I bought it less then 2 months ago and I've only used it maybe twice a week for short periods of time like going to the store, etc. I'm hoping that the infantino co. will repair or replace this defective carrier for free, otherwise I will never buy another product from this company again and I will advise all parents considering this product not to get it. :-(

        Comments about Infantino Union™:

My husband and I regularly take 2-mile walks down nature trails. After the first mile, my daughter would get tired of her stroller and start crying to be carried. I had a front carrier, but she is so heavy that the weight on my shoulders would give me a headache. This carrier works great for long walks, since it makes her feel like nothing at all on my back. I can even do housework with her on my back if I have to! The padding is really comfy, and the lumbar support seems to take a lot of the weight off of my shoulders. I switched her to the front when she needed to nap on an all day outing, and she slept in it perfectly -- did I mention that she is a good-sized toddler? I really feel like I got the most bang for my buck, and I'm looking forward to using it with the new baby that's coming this fall!

        Comments about Infantino Union™:

This is a nice, affordable alternative to more expensive ergonomic carriers. My baby is about 25 lbs and only 9 months old, so it can be hard on my back carrying him around. I frequently use a ring sling, but needed something to distribute his weight more evenly for longer outings. I also wanted something I would feel secure enough to do a backpack style carry. So far, the Union has met those needs.
