My 4 year old son loves this and plays with it everyday. It comes assembled which is the best. It is really cute and a lot of fun. He throws all his little truck toys in there and plays for hours.

At the time of purchase, my daughter was 8 and my son, 2. They both stay entertained with this for long periods of time. We don't always fill up the water side, as my son dumps large scoops of sand in the water, but they both love it when we do add the water. The only thing I might change is the height of it to accommodate seating. My kids end up kneeling or sitting on a bucket to play. I also love the cover it has on it for rainy weather or the winter season. It is easy to put on and take off - my 8 year old can handle it. It has withstood some strong storms without any signs of wear. Overall, it's been a bit of a lifesaver for my husband and me when we do yard work!

Its great for a grandparent's home - easy set-up, good size for setting up on a deck, engages younger & older kids of long periods of time(I think sand & water transcends age parameters), easy to cover up & hide items within. Very sturdy!

My daughter loves playing outside and this table is one of her favorite stations in the yard. We keep both sides filled with sand now. In the summer we'll add the water again. The only negative is her putting scoops of sand on everything!

This was a first birthday gift for my grandson. My daughter liked it so much she bought one just like it for a friend. The covered top was a major plus; they live in CA, so the table can be left outside but my daughter was concerned about debris, animals, etc.,.

Look out for HOT water if stored with water still in more than 12 hours in Tucson like temps. Pre-teen plays with the 2 year old.

I really wanted to get a "sensory table" for our son's 2nd birthday. This won hands down. It has been able to be used outside since we had purchased it & he loves using the sand and water at the same time and builds sand castles with it. Even our nieces and nephews (ages 3-11) like to play with it. I can't wait to toss it in our basement this winter and fill it with rice or beans or jello or something. We also purchased the sandbox that has the umbrella and half picnic table that matches this & we are very very happy with that as well. We also own the canopy wagon, an art easel, a toy box, the race car bed, the neat and tidy cottage, and our son loves them all. So, if you're looking these have all been great purchases, we feel. And, his lifestyle grand walk-in kitchen is now on its way! So, we'll tell you how that works out too! Thanks again for another awesome product Step 2!
