HOURS OF FUN!
Bought this as a Christmas present for my 2 1/2 year old and my 18 month old. They play with it so much! My 18 month old boy does everything possible with this table he climbs, sits, stands hids under it, and then of course he plays cars, trains, and under the little bridges he hides my daughters smaller dolls. My daughter really enjoys it too. She's a little older so she's able to pretend more and she enjoys the hills and sticker scenery that, by the way, looked really intimidating when I saw...Read complete review

My daughter really enjoys it too. She's a little older so she's able to pretend more and she enjoys the hills and sticker scenery that, by the way, looked really intimidating when I saw all of them, but the directions were clear and the stickers were easy to assemble. My only one complaint and concern would be WHY did the bridges have to be installed? Why didn't them come as part of the table? I could see them, over time, snapping/ breaking off and then my kids not enjoying it. Overall though it's a great toy and I'm really pleased with it.

Good table...great for first days
Great fun at the get go, but the boys got bored with it fast, as there are limited ways to drive on the track. So they play with it when a friend comes over that is in "awe" still. But then it get ignored. It is very well made and good fun for special times, if you can save if for once a month/quarter type play time. I didn't bother calling as their are definitely 'low end' even if they came with all the doors and replaced them with alternative cars. Overall, a good product (table) and good fun for a limited time.

I like that there is a flat top/cover. This allows for the unit to be used for more than just the train tracks/road. She has used playdough on the lid, did a puzzle on it and separated colored beads on it! The lid also hides all of the cars/trains so it is it's own storage unit. Love it.

I just love this table!!! I have a 2 1/2 year old son and the only thing he literally plays right now are cars and trains. But he either has them all over the entertainment center, kitchen table, coffee table, etc. So this table is perfect, it keeps his cars off the furniture and he loves playing with it. I like that it has the lid so it can be used with other toys as a table. Thanks Step 2!!!!

This is a really nice train table - no doubt about that. My boys started playing with it right away and assembly wasn't bad. I put it together when my husband took the boys out for a little while.
What I would change is the legs - either make them longer or make them adjustable so the table grows with the child.
We love having the table top. Lately one of my boys has been playing more with the top on using his own toys than with the table tracks. However, because the legs are too short, my sons can't sit well at the table for crafts and such.

For the price I was not completely happy with this product. I thought the Deluxe model would have more bells and whistles. The regular train table would be a better bargain and done the same job!

Works great as a 'coffee table', we use it daily as both a regular table/train table.
Thomas and Hot Wheels fit great! And alot of cars/trains fit inside for easy/fast storage!
To me the best thing about the table is it's not to big/heavy, easy for me to move around while cleaning.
And also the fact that the table has the lid is awesome, this was a huge selling feature for me.
Easy to clean w/hose attachment on the vaccum and/or wipes off easy & dries fast.
Use a power screw driver, or make sure you've got lots of muscle for the screws in the legs!!
Save time for the stickers, they took me awhile to put on!
And the only issue we've had with it is that my son pulled off one of the bridges, and broke the plastic screw that held it down...
I would recommend this table to anyone who's kids still pull stuff apart alot and esp if they still put things in their mouths. (for my son that was about 2 1/2 ish..) Just wait alittle while before getting it!!
Service and delivery comments:
2 things.
1 - the lid feels alittle flimsy to me, so far we haven't had any issues with it but I was so afraid of it snaping in the middle when we 1st bought the table.
2 - the bridges and screws.. would be better if the entire track was molded so the kids can't pull them off! my son managed to snap a screw in 1/2 and it's now stuck in the table.. i'll be calling soon for replacements cause he ofcourse can't leave that bridge alone now!
