This was a present for my 7 year old grandson. the convenience of folding the seat and taking with him when he visits is great. Also, the seat cover is removable and washable! I also like that he will not out grow this item soon as the weight limit is 200 lbs.
I've had this chair for two years and I love it. I like that it folds and it's easy to stash it when I'm not playing games. It does suffer from a couple of flaws though. The elastic straps and velcro strap that hold the cover to the chair eventually broke and now when I fold it and pick it up the cover falls off onto the floor. Furthermore, the joints that hold the backrest to the base are weak. The backrest has these two lugs that fit into two holes on either side of the base and the lugs just aren't long enough. When I lean back now the back pops out from the base and I have to lean forward and reach behind me to pull it back into place. No I'm not the stereotypical fat slob video gamer, it's just a poor design for the pivot point. I like the comfort of this chair so much that I'm considering running a long bolt through the pivot point just to keep this chair going. I think that Step 2 should consider improving the design in this fashion as well. But remember, it's lasted me two years already, and I game quite a bit.
This rocker is WAY more comfortable than it looks. I normally hate rockers b/c they're usually a bit unbalanced, (they either fall back or forward) but this one seems to balance perfectly for me. The pad and shape are so comfortable that I could probably nap in this thing. It also looks pretty sweet. Get one already!
I would recommend this based on comfort. Be prepared - spills/leaks on the padding are VERY hard to clean.
