"KidAlert at preschool intersection."
Permission given by City Transportation to put KidAlert in our busy crosswalk. We will soon have two KidAlerts on our two busy streets. It has been the only type of caution we were allowed to display.
Totally love the child likeness. Our green "Franklin" is well known in the community. Several related stories have been shared regarding his importance. Totally love the child likeness. Our green "Franklin" is well known in the community. Several related stories have been shared regarding his importance. We have had to replace two "KidAlerts" as they have been taken from their site. I have had many calls from people who would like to get one for their personal use. I definitely recommend it to friends and families.
Our preschool families are concerned when we do not have our KidAlert out for them.
We have had the green "KidAlerts" previously and they had two stands for each of them that we weighed down with sand. Our newest "KidAlert" is yellow and it has one stand. I prefer having two stands in order to keep the figure in place in the street. Time will tell about the color and figure change.

This is great! We have used it many times and have found that cars really do slow down. Many of our neighbors with children have asked about it and say they plan to buy one as well.

These are very eye catching and seem to make drivers slow down and watch for children. Only problem is, we have had three of these stolen, so now have to cable to a post to keep them.

This was a gift from my sister in law. We live on the corner of a street, and people speed all the time. The HOA board has addressed it many times, but nothing ever stopped it. So we put our little guy out when we were given in, and it worked great! People finally slowed down. It was working great!!! till, someone just drove by and stole it. :/ how frustrating... We'll definately be replacing it.

Everytime I see our little "Pedro" out in the driveway, I smile. Pedro has helped slow the speeding cars on our street! He really works, it's amazing how many cars slow down now. We bring him out when the kids are out and when were in, we bring Pedro in so people don't get used to him being there. A very wise investment!
