I thought this was the cutest thing I had seen in a long time. My daughter just loves the water. Against all the bad reviews I had read I ordered it anyway. They were right. The first day the faucet started at first with alot of water flow that ended up just a trickle in about 20 mins of play. this was just plain water.I replaced the batteries and same thing...no flow. She still loves it but I am truly dissapointed. We have had Step2 products before and never have I ever had problems till now.

Product worked for 1-2 uses. Then stopped. Step 2 sent out 3 new pumps,and it still would not work my kids were very disapointed. Terrible toy. Needs to stop being produced. Waste Waste Waste!!!

I wrote a review earlier about the pump failing (see Sad Dad). I called the customer service department as instructed by the webiste and they shipped a new pump unit [...] Installed the pump and gave it a 10 minute try which seems to be working. Unfortuantely, the weather did not cooperate and I took the toy apart for winter storage. Will provide update when the summer months come back. At least I have a working pump!

I am very frustrated that this didn't work. I read the reviews and still decided to buy it. Bad choice. After a few uses it wasn't working well. The flow was sooooo slow.

I wanted to give this cute toy the benefit of the doubt, but it is truly defective. The pump that came with it lasted about 20 minutes. When it broke, I called the company and they quickly shipped a new one. That one lasted about 10 minutes. So, I called for another replacement. (Third times the charm, right?) But, alas, it broke after a few minutes. How can this company get away with selling something that simply doesn't work?

My children love it, unfortunately the mechanism the brings up the water only works intermittenly.

We bought it, my daughter loved it!!! But it broke after 1 time use! and she was pretty upset because she wanted to play with it... how to explain to a baby that her toy is 1 time use only? I don't know!

Purchased sink to encourage child to stand and pull herself up to it after injury to leg as it is perfect size for toddler. She loved it. It worked great for about a week, and then the pump broke, my husband took to apart and cleaned it to fix it and it would work for a day or two and then brake again. Our daughter was very disapointed as were we. Our home is filled with Step 2 products and this is the first one we have not been satisfied with. Very disappionting and frustrating.

The 1st pump lasted a week, the replacement didn't even make it 10 minutes.
