MY GREAT-GRANDDAUGHTER GOES TO A DAY CARE WHERE I CAN LOOK FOR HER ON MY COMPUTER, AND THE MOST PLAYED TOY BY HER FOR THE LAST FEW MONTHS (SHE'S 17 MONTHS OLD NOW) HAS BEEN THE BARN SHAPE SORTER, SO I PURCHASED ON FOR HER TO HAVE AT GREAT-GRANDMA'S HOUSE AND IT'S THE FIRST TOY SHE GOES FOR WHEN SHE COMES. VERY STURDY AND SHE LOVES TO CARRY IT AROUND WITH THE HANDLE. IT'S A WONDERFUL LEARNING TOY AND I WOULD GET IT AGAIN.

Comments about Step2 Barn Shape Sorter:

Very good early learning toy. Provides shape & color coordination. The physical size is larger than most, except not cumbersome no heavy. The animals are very recognizable by any young child.

Comments about Step2 Barn Shape Sorter:

My son absolutely loves this toy! He got it for his first birthday and it was an instant favorite. He's now 16 months old and still plays with it everyday. It's the only toy we can say that about. It took him a little while to learn how to put all of the animals in their spots, but he can now do that on his own. My husband has been teaching him animal sounds using these animals. My son is unable to put the letters in their slots yet, but that's the next thing we'll work on. I like the different textures on all of the pieces, and the sizes are just right. I also like the carry handle. The only complaint I have about it is that the paint is coming off the animals. It's not terrible, but it definitely looks loved. Overall, this is a well thought out product!

My granddaughter is learning her shapes and letters using this product. I love that it is "self-contained" with all pieces fitting into the barn and it has a carrying handle as well.

Good product for the price, and required no assembly.

This is the third purchase I have made from your company and will not be the last!!

Comments about Step2 Barn Shape Sorter:

My daughter got this at 14+ months and loved it right away! She's 17 months old now and stuffs all kinds of toys in it and carries it around. It's the only shape sorter I've seen with a carrying handle. The door is a little hard for her to open sometimes since the door handle is smooth and not very long. Maybe if it had finger depressions on either side it would be easier for her to grasp. My only real complaint about this toy is that once all the animals are in you can't open the door. This makes for a very frustrated toddler who can't understand why she can't get the door open. She did eventually figure this out though and now the animals/shapes spend more time under the couch than they do in the slots.
