A sanity saver for us!!!

We bought this for our 13 month old son for Christmas...we set it up early, and it has been such a wonderful help!! He loves it and will play with this for so long! We can cook dinner, clean, fold laundry, finish a meal, read the newspaper, etc. without a toddler climbing all over us and demanding more attention. He eats his snacks at the table now, so cute! My only wish is that it would have come with more play food.

Pics very misleading...not worth the $$$

This is used by my 19 month old grandson & 28 month old granddaughter. The seats are barely big enough for them. They have to wedge themselves into the seats. The ketchup and mustard containers will fit inside the coffee pot, but you have to almost break the coffee pot to get them out. Just things I've noticed as the kids have only played with it once.

Comments about Step2 50's Diner:

My daughters love this Dinner. They love the ice-cream and the seats. My 22 mo old can easly reach the counter and handle the food without falling off the plate.
The bell is loud enough, but the music is load, but they don't push it too much. Also was hard to push seats in to put together. I just drilled them in :-) works great.
I would buy again. Very cute idea.Wish I had the Dinner when i was their age.

Comments about Step2 50's Diner:

I love the price[...] My 22 month old and 4 yr old loves the kitchen. I thought there were enough food and silverwear to play with. I wish there were more ice-cream, but everything was cute. I didn't get it 5 stars, because i never did get the left seat in too well. Never popped in like they said to do it. I just screwed the seat in and works fine.. The plastic bends in too much to pop the seat in..I thought the bell is loud enough, but the radio is very loud. We would buy this again though. My children love to play with the kitchen.

I love this 50's diner! It's cute and fun to play with. I like the music and the "Grease" feel. My 3 year old son loves it too. The coffee pot sits on the counter and makes noise as does the frying pan. The only bad thing is that I didn't get it for him a year+ ago!

    Comments about Step2 50's Diner:

We got this for our daughter's first birthday. We wanted a small, simple kitchen since she's so young. We saw this on sale [...] and couldn't resist. She loves to stand in front of it and pull everything out of the drawers. She's even learned how to sit in the booth and get back out on her own.I love that its double-sided, it makes it seem like she's walking into her "house" to get to her kitchen. My only complaint is that our bell isn't loud enough.I might eventually put this outside if I can prevent fading.

I bought this item for my two grandkids...boys. I didn't want to purchase a kitchen ....but this is close to one. All kids enjoy kitchens and the boys know what to do with everything. It's in my basement so the Diner fits right in. The doorbell is not that loud, that is the only disappointment.

        Comments about Step2 50's Diner:

Decided on purchasing a kitchen for our 2 yr old son as he often plays with the ones at his playschool. Chose the diner as it offers not only the functional kitchen but also the dining area. He enjoys serving his stuffed animals plus eats his own snacks in booth. Although the table is small it can be used for reading books, coloring and card games. Our son plays with it daily. Great item for pretend play and use of imagination. Nice and compact but full of features.

This is a wonderful toy. My only complaint is that the dinner bell that everyone raves about did not work properly. Customer Service is so wonderful, I am sure they will send me a new one. Looking forward to enjoying this kitchen for many years.

Our two kids, a boy (4) and a girl (6), love this diner! They play together for hours and have a great time. [...] Although we had to get the instructions online - they were missing too - it's really a great toy for the kids.

            Comments about Step2 50's Diner:

I bought this for my grandson's 2nd birthday. He plays with it all the time, as do his two older foster siblings. With three kids all needing special play time and attention, it's good to have something sturdy that works for more than one kid at a time. All three are learning skill words and are getting a chance to play at something in a fun and safe way. I bought a kitchen set previously for my granddaughter and will buy something from Step 2 for her sisters. I really like the quality and fun products they produce.
