This gift was for a male 2 yr. toddler. He's very interested in tools and what they can do, so this was the perfect solution for him to be able to hammer something and the plastic pegs were like real nails to him.

I bought this for my 3 yr. old grandson because he loves to help PaPa fix things, and his little brother(14months) loves playing with it also. He likes to hammer the pegs in the holes. Great toy!!

My son is 19 mos old and likes to climb on the bench. Sometimes he likes to pretend to use the hammer and such but other than that he is not that interested in it. My son is very active so who knows if in the future when he decides to sit still he may love it.

My son didn't seem to be very interested

I bought this son when he was 20 months old. He normally loves tools (the real ones that my husband has), so I thought he would love this, but someone he wasn't really that interested in this product. Of the 3 months of owning this, he has only played with it a few times. It's one of his least favorite toys.
