water gets in even when it tired downa and rocks on top of it. too small even for a three year old. construction arm falls out and comes apart all the time.

I have many sandboxes from Step 2. This one was is the worst one. It gets rain in there every time it rains. I am very unhappy with this sandbox and I would not recommend this to anyone.

My 3 year old got this for his birthday and he loves it. It is really perfect if you only have one child, but is still great for two kids to play as well. It is on the small side, but inside there is more than enough room. 50 pounds of sand is perfect. I would recommend getting the play sand that [...] carries. We got extra so that we could replace any that gets thrown out. The lid works great and we have been storing it flat so it doesn't warp...thanks to the other reviewer. The crane is super easy to put together. It is also removable so you can take it off if it is getting in the way. My 3 year old really can't work it that well yet, so right now we just have it off. I can't wait for my 8 month old son to get big enough to play in it with his big brother. We will be enjoying this for years to come!

Great fun but when storing the lid, lay it flat. After one day of play the lid won't fit back on because I stored it on it's side.
