My 2 1/2 yr old daughter loves this desk/easel! She sits and colors, draws, and paints throughout the day. It is durable and yet easy to move around. The storage bins and paper/color book racks are wonderful. She and I both love to organize all of her art supplies in them.

My daughter is 2 1/2 and received this for Christmas. She loves the desk and cubby area for playing and especially the stool. The negative is she has learned to climb onto the flip down desk using the stool.

This keeps my 2 1/2 yr old twins busy and is well made with plenty of storage. Has slots in the back which hold coloring books, paper, etc. Not at all difficult to assemble as long as you use a drill.

Our granddaughter will draw and color on her desk and NOT on the dining room table anymore! She likes storing her crayons, markers, paint brushes and paper in the proper places so the supply shelf and the bins are the greatest thing about this product. We haven't found anything that we don't like about this desk yet...expect maybe after our granddaughter has outgrown it we are not sure how long it will NOT be used until the next grandchild comes along!

Just bought this easel/desk for my 3 year old son. I was pleasantly surprised how compact the desk is, yet how much storage it provides. I was also impressed with the sturdiness of this easel. Works great as an easel or desk and is the perfect size for toddlers. My son uses it to draw, paint, play play-doh and even eat at. I also have two school age boys, now my three year old has a desk where he can do "homework" like his big brothers. I couldn't be more happy... my son loves it too!

I love this product and so does my 2 year old, but the dry erase board does not wipe clean. I am ONLY using dry erase markers and it won't wipe completely clean??? I made sure the markers work and erase off other dry erase boards and they do! Please help, this product was just purchased early Novemeber and the dry erase boards is completely stained and won't wipe clean at all! Thanks.

Love this table!! My daughter (now 2 1/2) got this craft table for Christmas last year (18 months) and has used it every day. We use it to color, paint, and with modeling clay. My daughter can work the easel on her own and the trays are great for storing items where she can get them AND put them away. It has been super easy to clean!! She only uses washable colors and paints but can get it all over the table...all I do is sprits it with water and it wipes clean. Only word of caution is the white board dents easy. Only trouble I have had with was that we had to take the first one back because the moveable desk top/clip top easel did not slide into place but bent and cracked because the opening it went into was cut wrong. The second one went on great and has been well used several times a day everyday. We both Love it and I would tell recommend it to anyone.

I purchased as a gift for my daughters second birthday! She loves it! Added crayons, markers paint, etc. and i have a happy child! My only thing is that its lightweight! My daughter slightly moves it across the floor from time to time! She takes the stool everywhere to step on, open freezer..but other than that i like it.I have it in my breakfast area in the kitchen and when i'm cooking she's content. I can't complain...

The only con is the paper clip does not hold paper at all we just took the clip off. Now we use a magnet and that works well.

My two-year old daughter loves this desk! The easel is easy for her to flip up and down on her own. The stool is the perfect height for her to sit on comfortably, and she loves all the little bins that come with it. The only thing that is a bit inconvenient is that it is so lightweight that she can move it all around the room easily. My son is 2 1/2 years old and is a very organized young man, so this flip doodle desk is perfect for him. He keeps his books, markers, and crayons in its on little cubbies, and enjoys the versitility of changing the desk to a sitting or standing position. The desk can also be moved around easily, and everything is kept intact. My only wish is that the shelves could hold some of his coloring books also, but they are not quite deep enough. Very well made product. Also, he does quite seem to like the stool, but we have other Step2 chairs he loves.

My daughter received this a year ago for Christmas. She has used it on a regular basis ever since. It's great because if she gets crayon or washable marker on it, it wipes off easily, so it still looks new. It's nice because she can sit and color in coloring book, or she can stand and paint a picture. It's a good place to keep all of her crayons and markers in one place, so she can easily find them. I keep a basket full of different coloring books/paint books beside it in her playroom. The clip to hold pictures when the easel is in the up position has loosened somewhat, but that's because it's used all the time! All in all a fabulous, long-lasting product!

My grandson likes to organize his toys and the bins are perfect for that. The stool is a little slippery on the floor so we may add some non slip pieces to the legs. The paper holders in the back are a little small. Larger paper is hard to fit. Overall very happy with the product.

The kids try to climb up on the table, it makes more of a climbing toy rather than a desk. The crayons roll off and the table bends at a 45deg angle. It is sturdy but I can see that if a heavier child of 50 lbs climbs on it will probably bend.
It is a great use for a desk with ample storage space. The crayons get stuck in the marker holders easily and it's hard to share with another child. The magic eraser sponge cleans off anything from crayon non-washable marker for a nice clean desk all the time.

I have two boys age 1 and 5 (almost 6). I bought it primarily for the 5 year old and he is almost too big for it. The product said it is for ages 2-6 but I think 6 is stretching it. My son loves drawing, painting and doing other art projects on this desk, it's also a great place to eat lunch or snacks. The only problem is that when the desk is down, you can't put much weight on it without tilting the desk. It would be better if it had two pull down legs to make the desk more sturdy and able to hold more weight.

I think this is a great idea, but my two-year-old seems a little young for this. I think the age suggestions may be off. He is extremely active, and easily bored. He will scribble for a while, then throw all the crayons around and throw the bins around. He likes the stool the best, as he can easily move it from room to room. Hopefully as he gets older, he'll gain the ability to sit still and actually use this product as it was intended!

We purchased 2 (one for each) and have set them up in our center hallway. This will be the designated 'art center'. Both of my children love to draw - although my son also enjoys rearranging the blue storage bins! I expect them to use these at least until they're 4. We may only need to purchase a bigger stool.

This is a great desk! We bought it for my daughter for her 2nd birthday and she has used it practically everyday since! It's easy to wipe clean if anything gets on its surfaces. The storage containers it comes with are great, they hold everything she could possibly need them to. The shelves in the back are nice to have, but I wish they were slightly larger. She has accumulated so many coloring books it's becoming a tight squeeze to fit them all in. Also, the stool it came with was a little hard for her to sit on at 2, it kept tipping over, so we just use a small chair with a back instead. The easel is a great part of it, the clip holds up all her painting projects. And when she's not painting she's playing with magnetic letters (another item stored in the bins!) I would recommend this desk to everyone! Well worth it!!

This is a great easel! I was in the store for over an hour decideing what one to get. It was between this one and a regular art easel. I am so happy I got this one! The compartments are great for all the art supplies and it is very easy to clean up. My daughter LOVES it. All the kids that come over to play go right to it too. It is light enough to carry from room to room. I keep it in the kitchen for the most part...then at night when we are in the family room, I take it in there....outside on the deck....it follows us everywhere! we even take it with us on weekend getways and long days at Gramdma's house. It is very compact and does not take up alot of room. Fits right to the wall and most other easels have to strech their legs out so they take up alot of room...This is great in the middle of the floor too...I use all washable paints, markers and crayons...then that way if there is any mess on the rug, floor, sofa or whereever...it just wipes right up! If you get this, you will be glad you did and the child you bought it for will be too!
( Great for 2 years old and up....even my 7 year old niece loves it too when she comes over! )

We got this for my daughter's second birthday and she loves to sit and draw on it for hours. I think that she loves that she has a designated area for drawing and coloring that is all her own! I think it will grow with her and as she gets bigger, she'll decide to use it as an easel. For now, she likes to sit and color. I was a bit concerned that she might lean too much on it and that the table would break, but that hasn't happened yet!

Both my sons (3 yrs and 15months) really like this desk. They love sitting on the stool and flipping the easel/desk. The only bad thing I could say so far is that only smaller coloring books/sketch pads fit in the back compartments. Normal-sized construction paper didn't fit.

My 3 year old loves this...wish we got it sooner though. It keeps all his items organized. There are 6 bins, 2 cubby holes and a place to stand up crayons or markers. The easel part has a great clip to hold up papers and there is even a place to put water for painting that wont tip over. The backside holds my son's coloring books and coloring paper.

We bought this for our little girl for her 2nd birthday and keep it in our office. She loves to "wite" (write) and now she has a place to without getting into our desk. The storage area on the back is great for color books and the bins hold her crayons and colored pencils. The metal easal plate was the icing on the cake because she has lots of magnetic toys which were scratching the front of our refrigerator. She now has a place to use these toys and store all the pieces in one place. We purchased an extra chair so the stool is used mostly to hold the bin she is working out of at the time.

My 2 1/2 year daughter loves this desk/easel. This is probably the only "toy" she uses every day. The fact that it is two items in one and that it has numerous bins, keeps her exploring and creating. I would recommend this product to every parent. Be sure to purchase some cleaner for the dry erase board because little ones like to color everywhere! I would also advise anyone without an extremely hard grip or good tools to borrow or buy a power drill to get the screws through the plastic when assembling (hence the four stars as opposed to 5).

It is a little smaller than I expected it to be as far as the easel and storage bins. Also I would prefer to have a chair, the stool is a little tippy for our 2 year old but otherwise we are happy.

This is my 26 month old son's favorite toy that he got for Christmas. We didn't do much coloring before this desk, but this makes it so nice. We leave the crayons and paper out and he colors when the mood stikes. (several times a day) He hasn't even attempted to color the walls yet! The storage on the desk is great. We store blocks in the bins. The footprint of the piece is very small with so much storage. I can tell this will be useful for many years.

We bought this product for our 20 month old daughter for Christmas. She loves it!! She really likes all the containers to put things in and with the stool it is perfect for her height right now. She does have some trouble reaching the red back part that holds the crayons, ect. so we decided not to put anything there until she gets a little bigger. We were really excited to find this because it will be great for her to use years to come.

The only down side to this desk, is putting it together. We didn't have any trouble until we went to put on the easle/drop down desk part. The way it's made you have to force the second side into the hole provided. While doing this the plastic bent a little. It's in there well, our daughter hasn't pushed hard enought to make it pop back out, but that was the only problem we had.

I would certainly suggest this to another parent or teacher. I can't wait for the coming months and years to see all the different ways she uses the desk.

I think the art table is great. It is the perfect size for my 2.5 year old, and has great storage. She is definitely using it. The stool is also an added bonus - perfect size for little ones. I don't know how useful it will be for an older child (5+) because of the size, but only time will tell.

This wonderful easel was a gift to my 3 year old grandson. It was easy to assemble, is very durable, bright and cheery looking and very functional. My grandson spends long stints playing, drawing and writing. Very useful storage bins with bonus book storage on the backside.

We bought this as a Christmas gift for our 3-year-old and I am very satisfied with the quality and overall design. It is very easy to put together and sets up quickly. I am a work-at-home mom and my daughter loves the fact that she has her very own desk now. The design is for flexible play and she is able to flip the easel top up and down by herself if she wants to vary her activities. The various bins and cubbies also encourage sorting and organization when playtime is over. We added a set of magnetic letters for use with the whiteboard to add even more possibilities for creativity and learning. The stool and height are perfect for a pre-schooler and the desk easily wipes clean. I have no regrets about this purchase and I'm sure my daughter will enjoy it for a long time to come. I have nothing negative to say about this product.

We bought this for my 2 1/2 year old daughter who has been asking for a desk. She loves it. She has her crayons and papers arranged neatly in the compartmens and loves coloring on the desk as well as using the easel.

Bought this easel as a Christmas present for our 2 year old. It is the perfect size for her and for our living room. She can color, draw, and even eat a snack while she is busy on her work. Our child is very big into the imatating right now and this has given her own space to do her work, just like mommy does when tending to the mail or bills. We purchased this for our 3-year old son who loves art. The desk isf antastic for storage because of all of the bins and organizers. It even holds coloring books on the back! All 4 of my children love to use the desk to paint, draw, color or even play with Play-Doh. The easel flips down to create a flat surface which is perfect for lots of activities. We think this is the perfect desk-much better than the standard easel we were going to buy instead.

My 5 year old Daughter loves arts, crafts, coloring and drawling! Not to mention she loves to play school! This Flip and Doodle is the most perfect play area she has ever had! She plays on it for hours upon hours a day. The White Board is an added Plus. The storage containers allow her to keep things organized and in HER OWN SPACE! She feels important having her own little learning/play center.

This easel/desk is great for my 20 month old granddaughter, however, the loose bins for storage can be easily removed and the contents flung about (which is typical). It's the only thing I would change.

My son hasn't received this yet - it's a gift, but I already put it together (in about 12 minutes!) and filled it with art supplies. He is going to love that the desk surface flips up and down for a desk or an easel, and it seems sturdy enough to hold up to him. I absolutely love that there is a place for everything included on this product - that should keep clean-up pretty simple. I highly recommend this product to anyone considering a similar easel or desk - it's both in one!

This is a wonderful product with one exception. In order to reach the trays at the back when the table is down, the child leans on the table. This causes the entire unit to fall over unless an adult is there to either stop the child from reaching or catch the desk. It's poorly balanced. Otherwise it provides creativity, a neat place to keep markers, crayons and paper.

I bought this desk as a Christmas present for my 2-year old- he tried it out in the store and it is perfectly sized for him!
He loved it so much he is still asking where his stool is- but I have put it away for Christmas morning.
It is just the right size for him and I love that it is a desk and easel, also it is pretty compact and light so we can move it around.

I bought this for my 2 year old grandson for Christmas this year and we have already opened it and used it. He loves to put his coloring book and crayons away and then take them out again. Oh, yes he likes to color too! The chair is easy for him to sit on by himself. He has already used his crayons on the desk itself and it wipes off real easy. I would buy this product again.

I am a stay at home mom and I use these desk to teach my children the importance of sitting still and have fun using their creativity. I wish this was available before. It would be great in preschool. Upright helps fine motor skills develop. A keeper(I can't find one used anywhere!).

Better to buy off Step 2 website, better priced. Make sure you have an electric screwdriver, it was difficult to assemble without one. Wonderful, durable, product. I'm thinking of buying another since my kids fight over it!
