We use it for artwork-nice to have a specific place to do it and keep the mess there. Love the storage bins for crayons and markers. Maybe don't need both-could use the top one for coloring books if it was longer.

I would do 2 more stools(only b/c I have 4 small kids, maybe some non slip material on the stool and table bottoms and most of all maybe a place to store coloring books and such. Of course these are things that would be good for me maybe not everyone else.

I bought this art center for my 4 year old daughter and my 2 1/2 year old son. My children use this everyday since they got it for Christmas. They love that they can hang their pictures up and show them off. Finally, an art center that is organized. I don't have to go around at the end of the day and pick up crayons and markers. They can help too. The table is durable and easy to clean up. (I use a magic eraser.) The table is also easy to put together which is always a good thing. The one down side is that with the organizer on the table top you loss some of the table space. My family still loves that table and happy we traded in a regular kids table for this.

It is also helping to organize the art tools and keep the more "advanced" materials in the higher storage compartment out of the 2 year old's reach, but just right for the 4 year old. This was given to my 5 and 3 yr. old for Christmas by Santa. My kids love it and will sit and color for a long time. They love to display their artwork at the top. I love how the crayons are easily stored. The only down side is that once it is put together, it does not fit through a regular size door. We put it together in the living room. We tried to put it in the kids' room but it was too wide to fit through the door and too tall to put it side ways. Instead of taking it apart, we just left it in the living room.

Our girls are 2 and 4 yrs and got this table for christmas. They have used it everyday since daddy put it together, which daddy felt was easy to assemble. Our kids love to hang up their art, but the clips are quite hard to open...may need to help. We have done many art products, played with play dough (which washes off easily) had meals on the table, and we have helped mom prepare meals on the table. Perfect highth for preschool age kids to stand or sit and do activities. We wish it came with 4 chairs instead of 2 so their friends could enjoy also! Very durable and we always use washable pens, crayons, etc. so the table washes up great!

My daughter loves this product. It is the first thing she plays with every morning. She loves being able to hang her art work and the bins keep her 16 month old sister from eating her markers. The only negative comment I have is that it is a little tricky to put together. Read the instructions carefully first. I installed the pole before putting on the bins, and I had to disassemble the table and start over.

My kids love this table! They are 2 and 3 and this table keeps everything within reach. They color just about on a daily basis, and before they got this table for Christmas, they used the dining room table. It was always a hassle because their crayons and stuff would roll off the table and they couldn't get them without climbing down and hunting on the floor for their supplies! Now, they can sit at the art tower and have everything right there, and if they lose a crayon all they have to do is bend over and pick it up... No more dangerous climbing out of booster seats!!!! We love this table for our 3 year old twins. They sit at it constantly to color and play. Even our 7 year old has been doing his home work at this table instead of his desk. It is easy to clean. My only issue is that it slides on carpet, so the 2 kids are unintentionally pushing it back and forth while they color. Stool on the other hand don't slide at all. Maybe the table legs should be shaped like the stools or have plastic grips on the bottom.

My twins love their art table. They are 2 years old, they can reach the baskets easily so becareful not to leave them unattended unless you wabt crayon on your walls. This was the kids favorite present. The only thing I would change would be to kae chairs with backs for the set. Well worth the price

I purchased the tower as a Christmas present for my grandchildren. It has exceeded all of my expectations and the children love it. It provides adequate room for both of them to color, paint and do their crafts. It is very satisying to purchase a product that makes you feel that you got your money's worth and more.

Love the product. Step 2 products are always well made and child tested AND this product is no exception. The only knock I have is that the seats do not have backs...but, no worries chairs are cheap! I love this and would definitely recommend it to anyone. It is a great way to organize art time.

I bought this for my twin nieces and they LOVE it!! They spend hours crafting at THEIR table. There is little cleanup involved since each of them has their own circular bin container attached.. just toss in the crayons and markers and you're done! I would have liked the option to purchase more stools since it only comes with two. All in all, it is great for the price - super sturdy quality and easy to put together. Cute idea to display the artwork on the clips.

Bought this for granddaughter's 3rd birthday. She loves it. Table is large enough that she and her sister can sit together and not get in each other's way while coloring. Crayons stay "contained" in the bin instead of rolling around on floor. The clips for hanging artwork is a nice touch for the girls to proudly display their masterpieces. Great product!

i really like the design of the table - and it allows for a great spot to hang the art! i do wish the chairs had backs though or i would have given it a 5 star rating.

I'd have liked to see the chairs have backs - as my littlest fell off the stool already once, almost 3 years old. and while i do realize the box says ages 3 and up - the chairs are not tall enough for kids over 4, so backs would have been nice so the 2+ kids could use it too.
