Comments about Step2 Castle of Courage:

The product is quite large which makes it impossible to leave out all the time. But it is difficult for young hands to assemble and of course, they want to! This has led to some small breakage. Disappointing! But we will repair and forge on!

My 3 1/2 yr old son received this for Christmas. He was so excited that Santa brought him a castle! And I have to say that I'm very glad we decided on this one! It is very durable and provides a great base for tons of imaginative play! My only problem with it is that it tends to come apart if moved or bumped, however it goes back together pretty easily. Overall, I'm VERY impressed and so is he!!!

Lots of great places to put the men that are included or any other toys. Comes with great men to play with including swords and sheilds. The drawbridge was a huge hit!

Comments about Step2 Castle of Courage:

I like this toy because my 3 1/2 year old loves it for his collection of knights and my 18 month old loves to climb inside of it and sit down in the circle. The castle is sturdy and with two very active little boys we need that when looking for toys. We love it!

Comments about Step2 Castle of Courage:

Great quality. This was for our 4 year old daughter - My husband was impressed, felt like it was a toy that could have been hand-crafted. One problem, we were assembling on Christmas Eve - thank god for power tools....one of the boards was assembled up-side-down, so the interlocking holes didnt match up. He had to get his power tools out and re-drill a hole himself to get it to lock together.

Comments about Step2 Castle of Courage:

Bought as a Christmas gift for my 4 year old son since he is into "knights and castles" right now--so he hasn't played with it yet. I got it out of the box when it came though because I was so excited. I think he will love it on Christmas morning!! It seems sturdy and I like that it comes with a playmat too.

Good sturdy wood, not good assembly
By Daycare provider from North Dakota on 12/21/2007
Pros:
Easy Assembly, Fun, Sturdy
Describe Yourself:
Do-It-Yourself, Handyman
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Comments about Step2 Castle of Courage:

The castle is a big hit, the only problem is when putting it together there are slats (a hole then it is to slide to hold) however, when you put it in the hole, slide it, it falls back down into the hole so it comes apart easily. I will see about maybe some wood glue and small nails to hold it as the kids are really excited about it and have not stopped playing with it. I got it for my daycare however, my nine year old son was wondering why it wasn't for him...smile.

Comments about Step2 Castle of Courage:

My 2 boys (3yr and 4 yrs) rcvd this castle as well as the Tower of Doom for their birthdays. They are high quality, not some flimsy castle toy. Even the figurines are durable. I shopped around too comparing other wooden castles. Glad we chose these from Step 2!
