Very sturdy. My son loves the hidden passages and drawbridge. The assembly directions were a little confusing and none of the pieces were numbered which would have made assembly much easier.

This is a very versatile toy for children... With a little imagination it can be a castle for princes, princesses and fairy godmothers... for warriors, ogers, and dragons... a pirate haven... or all of the above. We had a New Years party at our home and this was the biggest hit with all the kids ranging in age from 3-10. The boys and girls all LOVED it and wanted one of their own.

2 pak special - 12 days of Christmas deal. My sister got one for her grandson (3). I asked Santa to bring one to my grandson (4). He loves it! There's lots of hiding places and spots for dragons to land. My 2 yr old grandson likes it too. A tired elf had trouble screwing columns into top piece of tower. Grandpa is fixing it. Overall a great toy for imaginative play. Good size so more than one child can play at once. Ours will stay put together but can be completely taken apart for easy storage.

Very cool castle! Lots of fun and great for imaginative play! The castle was easy to assemble but the instructions had some of the letters for the pieces mixed up, but all in all easy to assemble. The figures are kind of scary and a little violent, but other figures we have work just fine!
