It is surprisingly sturdy. Very easy to put together. No heavy lid to fall on kids. My grandaughter climbed right in it when I put it together and I felt totally safe letting her do so.

My daughter loves it, the only prob. is she always takes stuff out and doesn't want to put it back.....HaHa. It seems to be a good product and actually holds up well to be mostly cloth. The best part is you only have to take off one side and the compartment slides off and can be washed. I would definitley recommend it.

It's a lot bigger than I thought it would be, so it holds all their toys, which is great! I like the pockets. I use it to keep diapers and wipes for my littlest one. The only con is that the lid seems kinda big and does'nt stay on well. But its not really a big deal.

I really like this toy box and I have searched for one that I thought would fit my toddler. We both love the front pockets - I love them because they hold all of those tiny cars and balls and he loves them because he can reach everything right away. The only thing I do not like is the lid. There is no way you can leave that open as they show in the picture since it does not lock and he easily pulled it off. I don't use the lid unless I have people coming over!

We love this toy box. We have two 2-year olds whose main play area is our living room. Now we can keep their toys in the living room, but they are out of the way, and in a nice-looking toy box when they are not being used. The pockets in front are perfect for books! Since we set up the toy box, our children seem more encouraged to help with the clean-up process! We are very happy with this purchase, and definitely recommend it to others.

This is a great product. The only thing that was annoying which I remember seeing in another comment is that one of the screws would not go into one of the holes, which must mean it's a factory defect. I have furniture on each side of the box, so I just left that one screw out.

i love this toybox, it is very roomy, and i love the outside pockets. i have mixed feelings about the lid not being attached, which was the only thing people complained about when i was reading the reviews. overall i think it is better this way. it comes off very easily, which means that it is also very easy for the kids to put on, if you have kids that will do that :) mine really dont, so the lid is all over the place. so if you like things very neat and tidy all the time, you might not like this. but i like it because i dont have to worry about the lid falling down on them. it makes it a bit unsturdy to stand on, which i thought would be a problem when we first set it up, but it turns out that they arent standing on it, at least not yet, probably because they can tell they will fall. dont know if that will continue, i doubt it, but so far so good.

I bought this for my 3 year old daughter and she loves it!! It was very easy to set up my 10 year old son and I did it in 15 minutes. It is so big it fit everything we had in it. The only problem is that the lid does not stay on, but other than that it is very easy for my daughter to open and close. I just wish it would have come in pink, that is her favorite color. I would definitely buy this again. Step 2 makes great products.

I love this toy box. We can use it as a ball pit, or as a toy box that holds all their stuffed animals and balls. Easy to assemble, light weight, tough, neutral colors, and safe. My kids can not slam the lid on each other's fingers. Plus, they can crawl into it play and crawl back out without tipping or breaking. I just wish the lid was attached to the toy box. I highly recommend it. The pocket on the front are perfect for keeping books in, the kids love getting them out and putting them back.

This is a great toybox. I shopped around and around trying to find a big enough toybox to hold all of my son's toys and this is the one! The only con is that the top doesn't stay on but I keep it off when he plays and put it on when he's done.

I recently purchased this item for my sons playroom, its great, lots of space, which is what I was looking for, however, it was a little hard to put together. One of the screws would not go into the pre made hole, and even my husband was not able to screw it in all the way, so I think it may be a defect of manufacturing, it is in fact sticking out of the groove a little.
I also am not too happy about the cover easily coming off, so if you put to many toys in or they are not arranged properly inside the chest the entire cover comes out of the grooves and falls off.

I use this product as a toy chest for my 2 year olds toys.They have so many that it fit everything in it.It got rid of all the clutter.It is a very nice looking toy chest.And it is also very easy to put together.I would recommend this to anyone who has alot of toys and clutter!!

It holds almost all of our toys! It is very big. I love the pockets on the front as they hold the little toys and are easy to find that way. It was very easy to put together. My 12 year old son and I put it together in about 10 minutes. This is a great toy box!

I love this toy box it works wonders and my daughter loves it. The best thing is that you don't have to keep the lid on you can take it off. My daughter is a little to young to open the lid so i took it off and she just loves to get her toys out and she puts them back in .

I like that the top is removable. My son is only 18 months old. He likes to climb inside and play with his toys. He isn't strong enough to open the top all the way and I don't have to worry about it closing on him.

I read all the reviews before buying this toy box and everyone seemed so pleased with it, and I can see why, it's very big, fits all the toys nicely in it including my 17 month old. I know this is a keeper and will be a part of the toy room for a very long time.
Great Product, the only reason I only gave it 4 stars is because the top part is not attached to it and comes off easily.

Great toy chest, holds a good amount of toys. My only complaint is that there are no hinges to keep the lid open/ keep frm falling, also the lid constantly comes out of the grooves when my 2 yr old opens it.

This toybox is exactly what I thought it would be. My husband had a bit of a hard time with one of the screws and getting it to line up correctly in one of the metal bars that hold the fabric but after a few times of screwing and unscrewing it worked just fine. If you zoom in on the toybox you can easily tell the front and backsides are fabric so I was already expecting that, however the lid doesn't attach very well and easily comes off if my son moves it even the slightest bit. I am almost certain that this is a safety feature incase a child happens to fall inside the toybox (there is plenty of room for 2 or 3 toddlers to get in there) but it is a bit of an annoyance.....still it is exactly what we needed and we will be buying another one soon, i'm sure, number #2's on the way!!!

This toy box turned our cluttered toy corner into a NEAT and TIDY toy corner! It holds way more than it looks like it would. I am very glad we made this purchase!
Please look at the measurements before you buy. This thing is huge! Almost too large. It's about the size of a toddler bed. I had originally bought it to put in my daughter's bedroom, but there is not enough space. I wish we could use it outside to store outdoor toys, but the fabric sides prevent us from doing that. Right now it is in our living room taking up space. My daughter is 2 and petite. She has trouble getting things out of the very bottom because it's so deep and needs us to help her. I do like that it is well made, and the reason why I bought it was that it wouldn't pinch her fingers when she closed the lid. Not for families with tight space. This is more for families with tons of toys and a large playroom to store it in.

I searched online for the "perfect" toy box. My son is almost 2 years old and he's Mr.Rough and Tumble. From the description of this toy box, I THOUGHT it was made of plastic all the way around. It's not. The sides and lid are plastic, which I love, but the actual BOX itself is a light weight matterial, not very sturdy. The toy box was a PAIN to put together, and I had to have my husband help me. Together, we still had trouble. Next time I'll spend the extra money and get the Fisher Price one I wanted in the first place. I do have to say that my son did love the box it came it, he was ammused by that.

This is a very nice toy box. It's a great size...can hold many toys. Very durable and sturdy for the most part. I don't like that the lid is not attached though. Overall I think this is a good choice and I would recommend it.

This toy box was so easy to put together and clean. The kids love it because they put what ever they want in the front pouches. The only flaw is the top doesn't really stay on. All in all I would recommend it. Maybe for small children and not so much toddlers.

Toy boxes are very big and hold all the toys.
I like that the lid is removable for safety. My son loves "cleaning up" now.
The screws were a little difficult to install, was recommended to dip the screw in a small amount of dish detergent first, that worked perfect.

I liked the toybox because it wasn't very expensive but like they say you get what you pay for. It doesn't tell you in the details that it has a bag which holds the toys, not the plastic sides. It only has two ends and the lid which are solid. It was bought for a 7 year old and it's not built well enough for him.

The toy box is large enough for all of her toys. It matches the Step two table and chairs that she has. It has made it possible to make her toy area tidy. It is low enough that she can reach most of the toys by herself at the age of 18 months.

I like that I can fit a lot of my chldrens toys inside and the toy box itself does not look too out of place in my living room because the colors match what we have in the room. I also like that the top comes off completely so I don't have to worry about fingers.

I bought this toy box for my grandson. He has so many toys I wanted something large enough to hold them. When I realized this toy box was partially canvas, I was not sure whether I, or his parents, would like it. We were pleasantly surprised. It is large, attractive and very functional. The style would even be suitable for storage for the pre-teen child.

This toy box is amazing!! It has tons of storage! The only thing I would change...the lid. It doesn't have anywhere to "lock" onto the box itself. I am sure this is so no fingers get pinched. We love the toybox. We just place the lid on at night after all toys have been picked up and take it off when my son wants to play.

The outside pockets are great for small stuffed toys or teething toys. Fun to open and close too!
The lid is easily removeable for a fun filled day of playing with many friends and not having to open and close the lid.

I bought this toy box for my 1 year old. It was actually bigger than I thought it would be, which is great since it holds a lot of toys. We currently are not using the lid, we didn't want to hide the toys we just wanted to get them off the floor. Our son loves to dig in and pull his toys out. I would recommend this product to anyone that is looking for a good and practical toy box.

We got this toy box for my son for christmas. He really loves the pockets on the front of the box. He's been known to sit there and take everything out then put everything back in! Very entertaining for him!!! I love the use of material instead of hard plastic like most toy boxes. Also, holds a lot of toys! My only complaint is that the lid just sits on top of the box. Sometimes it'll slip off the hinge and fall behind the box. Other than that... great box!!!
We purchased this toy box about a year ago and love it. Most of my son's toys fit into it and the color works well in his room. (We have the beige, green, and red model)

The Soft and Sturdy toy box is great. It holds a lot of my daughter's toys. It is not big and bulky like some toyboxes. We keep it in our living area, it blends in and doesn't stand out. I would probably buy another one just like it if needed.
