Great toy box very sturdy, easy set-up, I did it by myself in like 10 minutes, with my 11 month old "helping". And yes it is cloth, except the sides, just look at the picture you can tell, but I don't mind its softer for my daughter. But it's very sturdy fabric. And it holds so much stuff! The only draw back is the colors make no sense it's a reddish-burgandy, with tan sides, dark blue fabric with bright yellow pouches?????

Very easy to setup, only complaint I have with it is the lid. The lid does not stay attached to the base so it sometimes comes off if you lift too high and I fear that it can come crashing down on my child. For the price it's a good buy compared to other toy boxes out there.

This storage box was a great buy. I did not want an old fashioned wooden toy box that has hard, sharp corners. This is well made, durable and safe. I has so much room on the inside and the 3 pockets on the outside are perfect for smaller toys. I am very happy with this purchase.

Needed a toy box for my 18 month old that would accomodate small toys as well. This product is great with the small pockets in front as his cars can fit in there as well as his Little People. After much research for just the right toy box for the buck I decided on this one. This box has so much storage! It fits small & large toys easily. I also love the pockets on the front, which are great for small hot wheels, and legos. I wasn't sure how I would like the front and back being fabric, but it is very sturdy. The only thing you should consider when buying this product is, if it bothers you that the lid is detached. It does fit on the top, but our kids love to take it off and carry it to other rooms in the house. Not a big issue, just something to consider.

This toybox was easy to put together. It is deep, so my 15 month old has trouble reaching toys in the bottom but he will grow into it in no time. It fits all of his toys with room for more! The outside pockets store his favorite toys and are easy for him to get to. I like that the cover is removeable and won't pinch little fingers. It is light weight yet durable. A good find in my book!

I got this for my 1 1/2 year old son and we both love it. It is really sturdy. My son likes to slam the lid down, and the way it's designed I don't have to worry about him smashing his fingers. And if I get tired of hearing the lid slam, it is easily removed. It is very spacious, my son even likes to play in it. It was super easy to put together too, I actually did it myself with my son "helping."

This is a great toy box! My son, who is four is able to fit so much stuff in it. He climbed in when I put it together and there's still plenty of room. It is sturdy too. He sits and lays on top of it. I've even sat on it and it is strong. I put it up against a wall and the top stays on that way. Shortly after I bought it, I said I wish I had room for another one. It was easy to put together. I did it myself in about 20 minutes.

This box is so big and holds tons of toys. The fabric seems like it will wipe clean easily over time. The only con is that the lid sits in the frame and isn't achored to the box. It doesn't have any attatchment preventing my son from pulling it off or keeping it up. The good thing about that is you can easily remove it if the box gets too full.

There is absolutely nothing that I can complain about concerning this product. This was bought as a gift for my 17 month old daughter from my parents (I picked it out). It was easy to put together, it is sturdy, it holds LOTS of toys. Other reviews stated that the lid came off which was a pain, however, I think it is a good safety feature. We decided to place the toybox in the living room and it looks great... not tacky at all. The pockets are such a neat and unusual feature. She loves to pull things out of them! LOVE IT.

We have alot of toys and needed something to put them all in so they were off my fireplace hearth. After looking at several toy boxes we decided on this one after reading all the comments on it. We liked the idea that the lid does come all the way off, that way there is no chance of suffocation (which unfortunately you do hear about once in a while). That seemed to be a con for most people, but not for overprotective me, it's a pro. I like the pockets on the front since we don't have a book case yet for our son, we just stick the books in them, and he can easily take them out when he wants. It is quite big, hard to picture when you have just dimensions. Overall we are thrilled with the purchase, and got it for a great price during the 9 days of Christmas sale, and no shipping fee to boot. I didn't give it 5 stars only because one of the screws doesn't go in all the way and sticks out posing a small hazard in my opinion. But we will just look for a different one to fit it, plus we have it up against our entertainment center so it is safe for now.

I'm happy with the purchase of the soft n sturdy toybox. We looked for many different styles at a variety of stores and found this one to fit our needs the best. It has a lot of room inside and the outside pockets fit little items. It fits together well except for the lid. The lid just lies on top of the sides with only a little piece sticking out to "hinge" it on. It flips off every time it is opened. The only nice thing about that is the lid is safe for little fingers as there is a lot of space between the lid and sides and the lid is light so no fingers can get pinched.

This was the 1st present 2 y/o my son found Christmas morning - he climbed right in! What best is that most of the toy box is canvas and there is an opening between the actual box and lid which allows ventilation if the child does climb in and play in there.

We bought this product for my son who turned 2 in October 08. The toybox is excellent for his huge trucks and toys. I save a lot of cases and boxes (OCD!) and it fits all of those very well too. The toybox is huge and sturdy, my son loves to climb inside, tho still being small he still needs help getting out. The front pockets are nice and thick but you can't stuff them too much or they won't velcro shut.The biggest problem I have with this toybox is that it's not all plastic. The lid and two sides are plastic but the rest is a heavy duty fabric. It's hard to tell that from the pic and description. When we opened the box we were pretty disappointed but once we put it together we're happy again!I haven't had an issue with the lid staying up, as some others have, but we also keep it against the wall, so I'm sure that helps.Overall we love it and are happy with the purchase. The price is definately right, as it's [$][...] cheaper on this site than any other.I would recommend to a relative or a friend.

My daughter loves it, the only prob. is she always takes stuff out and doesn't want to put it back.....HaHa. It seems to be a good product and actually holds up well to be mostly cloth. The best part is you only have to take off one side and the compartment slides off and can be washed. I would definitley recommend it.

I really like this toy box and I have searched for one that I thought would fit my toddler. We both love the front pockets - I love them because they hold all of those tiny cars and balls and he loves them because he can reach everything right away. The only thing I do not like is the lid. There is no way you can leave that open as they show in the picture since it does not lock and he easily pulled it off. I don't use the lid unless I have people coming over!

This is a great product. The only thing that was annoying which I remember seeing in another comment is that one of the screws would not go into one of the holes, which must mean it's a factory defect. I have furniture on each side of the box, so I just left that one screw out.

i love this toybox, it is very roomy, and i love the outside pockets. i have mixed feelings about the lid not being attached, which was the only thing people complained about when i was reading the reviews. overall i think it is better this way. it comes off very easily, which means that it is also very easy for the kids to put on, if you have kids that will do that :) mine really dont, so the lid is all over the place. so if you like things very neat and tidy all the time, you might not like this. but i like it because i dont have to worry about the lid falling down on them. it makes it a bit unsturdy to stand on, which i thought would be a problem when we first set it up, but it turns out that they arent standing on it, at least not yet, probably because they can tell they will fall. dont know if that will continue, i doubt it, but so far so good.

I bought this for my 3 year old daughter and she loves it!! It was very easy to set up my 10 year old son and I did it in 15 minutes. It is so big it fit everything we had in it. I love this toy box. We can use it as a ball pit, or as a toy box that holds all their stuffed animals and balls. Easy to assemble, light weight, tough, neutral colors, and safe. My kids can not slam the lid on each other's fingers. Plus, they can crawl into it play and crawl back out without tipping or breaking. I just wish the lid was attached to the toy box. I recently purchased this item for my sons playroom, its great, lots of space, which is what I was looking for, however, it was a little hard to put together. One of the screws would not go into the pre made hole, and even my husband was not able to screw it in all the way, so I think it may be a defect of manufacturing, it is in fact sticking out of the groove a little.
I also am not too happy about the cover easily coming off, so if you put to many toys in or they are not arranged properly inside the chest the entire cover comes out of the grooves and falls off.

This toybox is exactly what I thought it would be. My husband had a bit of a hard time with one of the screws and getting it to line up correctly in one of the metal bars that hold the fabric but after a few times of screwing and unscrewing it worked just fine. If you zoom in on the toybox you can easily tell the front and backsides are fabric so I was already expecting that, however the lid doesn't attach very well and easily comes off if my son moves it even the slightest bit. I am almost certain that this is a safety feature incase a child happens to fall inside the toybox (there is plenty of room for 2 or 3 toddlers to get in there) but it is a bit of an annoyance.....still it is exactly what we needed and we will be buying another one soon, i'm sure, number #2's on the way!!!

Please look at the measurements before you buy. This thing is huge! Almost too large. It's about the size of a toddler bed. I had originally bought it to put in my daughter's bedroom, but there is not enough space. I wish we could use it outside to store outdoor toys, but the fabric sides prevent us from doing that. Right now it is in our living room taking up space. My daughter is 2 and petite. She has trouble getting things out of the very bottom because it's so deep and needs us to help her. I do like that it is well made, and the reason why I bought it was that it wouldn't pinch her fingers when she closed the lid. Not for families with tight space. This is more for families with tons of toys and a large playroom to store it in.

I searched online for the "perfect" toy box. My son is almost 2 years old and he's Mr.Rough and Tumble. From the description of this toy box, I THOUGHT it was made of plastic all the way around. It's not. The sides and lid are plastic, which I love, but the actual BOX itself is a light weight matterial, not very sturdy. The toy box was a PAIN to put together, and I had to have my husband help me. Together, we still had trouble. Next time I'll spend the extra money and get the Fisher Price one I wanted in the first place. I do have to say that my son did love the box it came it, he was ammused by that.

This toy box was so easy to put together and clean. The kids love it because they put what ever they want in the front pouches. The only flaw is the top doesn't really stay on. All in all I would recommend it. Maybe for small children and not so much toddlers.

I liked the toybox because it wasn't very expensive but like they say you get what you pay for. It doesn't tell you in the details that it has a bag which holds the toys, not the plastic sides. It only has two ends and the lid which are solid. It was bought for a 7 year old and it's not built well enough for him.

I like that I can fit a lot of my chldrens toys inside and the toy box itself does not look too out of place in my living room because the colors match what we have in the room. I also like that the top comes off completely so I don't have to worry about fingers.

This is a safe, sturdy toy box with plenty of room to store my 9 month old daughter’s toys. She loves to cruise around on it and pull her favorite toys out, and I appreciate that it’s made in the USA.

At first was a little upset that the front and back were cloth but after it fit ALL my daugheters toys it was ok.

I bought this toy box for my grandson. He has so many toys I wanted something large enough to hold them. When I realized this toy box was partially canvas, I was not sure whether I, or his parents, would like it. We were pleasantly surprised. It is large, attractive and very functional. The style would even be suitable for storage for the pre-teen child.

This toy box is amazing!! It has tons of storage! The only thing I would change...the lid. It doesn't have anywhere to "lock" onto the box itself. I am sure this is so no fingers get pinched. We love the toybox. We just place the lid on at night after all toys have been picked up and take it off when my son wants to play.

The outside pockets are great for small stuffed toys or teething toys. Fun to open and close too!

The lid is easily removeable for a fun filled day of playing with many friends and not having to open and close the lid.

I bought this toy box for my 1 year old. It was actually bigger than I thought it would be, which is great since it holds a lot of toys. We currently are not using the lid, we didn't want to hide the toys we just wanted to get them off the floor. Our son loves to dig in and pull his toys out. I would recommend this product to anyone that is looking for a good and practical toy box.

We got this toy box for my son for christmas. He really loves the pockets on the front of the box. He's been known to sit there and take everything out then put everything back in! Very entertaining for him!!! I love the use of material instead of hard plastic like most toy boxes. Also, holds a lot of toys! My only complaint is that the lid just sits on top of the box. Sometimes it'll slip off the hinge and fall behind the box. Other than that... great box!!!

The only thing we don't like about this product is the lid keeps coming off when it's open. It should have been somehow attached to the box.

The Soft and Sturdy toy box is great. It holds a lot of my daughter's toys. It is not big and bulky like some toyboxes. We keep it in our living area, it blends in and doesn't stand out. I would probably buy another one just like it if needed.
