This was given as a gift to my niece. The size is great - I was concerned when reading other reviews that it might be too small for her (she's 5 1/2), but it fits just great. This will last awhile and she couldn't stop saying thank you to me at Christmas. I have always loved Step-2 products. They are durable, sturdy and always fun. This is the first time I EVER had a problem and it was minor. There was one screw missing. That's it.

This vanity is exactly what we've come to expect from Step2 -- nice and sturdy and fun to play with! I bought a little play makeup set to go with it and some lip gloss and she's in heaven! I also bought a styling head separately which she keeps on top of the vanity. It looks beautiful in her room and the bench can easily handle her kneeling or sitting on it. one thing that you need to be able to do is place the vanity against a wall, especially is the little user can't reach the vanity light by herself. kneeling on the seat and reaching can cause it to tip.

My daughter loves this. The stool is the perfect height for her and still gives room to grow. She loves all the spots to put lipsticks and other items. It was very easy to put together, just a few screws here and there. We used a power drill and I'm sure that helped a lot. The only thing I'm not entirely sold on it the fact that the storage spot in the stool it a little small, but otherwise we love it.

I had a hard time finding a vanity for my 4 year old. Most were just too little for her. This one is nice with room to grow. We love the big mirror and wide table top. My only wish was more storage, like drawers in the sides. She put her scarves and gloves in the seat and make-up in the drawer. Would have liked room for her jewelry. Had a little trouble getting the screws in the mirror to table. Other than that, we are VERY pleased and would certainly recommend to others.

The only negative comment I would have is that the seat cover comes off to easy. My daughter sometimes has difficulty sitting down without the cover sliding out from under her.

I was very happy to see my nieces opening up their vanity during our Christmas family gathering. We only took one out of the box at that time and the two girls actually fought to sit in the one chair as toddlers will do!! I am hearing that they are loving their vanity and bringing their moms some relief because they'll play with it (and a Step 2 kichen we purchased as well!!) for good amounts of time during the day. We bought this vanity for our 5 year old daughter for Christmas. The size is great, she still has lots of room to grow. The only problem we have is the lid of the seat slides off easily, but I'm sure that could be corrected with Velcro. My husband had an easy time putting it together, and the finished product looks good. We didn't put all of the stickers on, because I'm not crazy about that look. We had intended to have this in our playroom, but our daughter loved it so much that she wanted it in her room. My daughter loves her vanity. She loves to watch herself in the mirror, so this was the perfect Santa gift this year! It was easy to assemble and the stickers are cute. The mirror has a nice reflection, not distrorted like some plastic mirrors.
I wish it came with more accesories though. We purchased a separate Barbie set to add to the fantasy play. Overall, i am happy with the purchase. I am a big fan of Step 2 and continue to come back!

We shopped many stores looking for a vanity. Knowing that Step 2 has excellent products I should have began with Step 2. We are more than pleased with the quality and durablity of Step 2 Fantasy Vanity. Our three year old loves having her own "princess table" she loves looking in the mirror pretending to do her hair and make up. The stool with storage is a bonus that fits well in the vanity. It is compact enough to fit well in a child's bedroom or play area but large enough for a Kindergartener to use.

The product is very cute and my daughter loves it. She loves putting things in the drawer. However, the drawer pulls out the whole way, so it usually winds up on the floor or on top of the vanity. A drawer stop would be a great improvement. Also, she has knocked it over a few times because it's slightly top heavy. This is resolved by putting it against a wall. This product was a big hit!

We were missing a 1 1/2" screw for the mirror, found a similar one in our toolbox, then had extra small screws we didn't need. One side of the mirror did not have a good indentation for the long screw - that took some doing to get that attached. However, it's together and we know our granddaughter will love it. We are leaving the placement of the decor for her & her mom.

It was easy to assemble. All parts fit correctly. Seat seemed to tip easily. Her eyes sparkled when we took it out of the box.

This is the best vanity out there. All the others have too many features that sit on the vanity top, so the little girls can't even play with their jewelry and makeup. We bought this for my 5 year old when she was 2 and we are buying another one for our 2 year. The storage seat is the best.

I bought this for our little girls fourth birthday. Both she and her 5 year old sister really like it! They play 'barbara' (their word for a person who cuts your hair). I think any little girls who like playing dress-up would love this!

Very durable and sturdy. I bought one for my granddaughter and after receiving it and saw how adorable it was I then bought another one for my other granddaughter.

I was amazed at the good quality of the reflection in the mirror -- it's very usable.
The only drawback is that the stool's lid seems to come off easily, even when she's just fidgeting on it.

My daughter keeps asking for a second one just because she loves it so!!!

I bought this vanity and stool for my granddaughter when she was 3. Now she is 4 and still uses it everyday when she plays dress-up or is getting ready. She stores her treasures inside the stool and plays princess with it being her throne. My granddaughter wanted the Disney one that talks when she saw it at the store, but when I looked at it, it was way too small for her. She is in the 95th percentile for her age in height, but she still has plenty of growing room in the Fantasy Vanity at four years old. It is very sturdy and I put it together myself in about ten minutes. I would definitely recommend this toy to any little princess!

I bought this for my daughter's 4th Birthday. She was absolutely extactic. She sits and brushes her hair and puts lip gloss and body glitter and a few other things on all day. It is very sturdy and easy to clean. it is worth the money.

Easy to assemble. Matches nicely with the Castle bed offered by Step2. Cleans up nicely. Small vanity stool fun for the little ones to put their "item" in. Our daughter immediately put her pajamas in it!

Easy to set-up. Great value. My daughter (3) loves to use it to keep her "things" on and check out her favorite styles in the mirror. The seat is handy for storing little items. Would highly recommend.
