I wish the chairs were a bit wider. They are tall and narrow and tip quite easily. My son and his friends are always tipping them over.
Highly recommended/very sturdy

I bought these chairs because they were all one piece (not a folding chair that I thought would collapse when sat on for a younger child). The weight limit is 75 pounds but I and the parents have sat on them in my granddaughter's playhouse and they hold us - very sturdy. I would recommend them to all looking for a chair for any children.

my son is 31 lbs and has fallen over in these chairs on more than 1 occasion....today he got a "fat lip" from a fall. i chose these chairs over the folding step2 chairs because they have a higher weight limit...but am very dissapointed about the unsteadiness of them. the legs should be a bit further apart to support the weight.
This is the perfect chair for toddlers.

Toddlers sometimes fall off chairs, these are perfect because they are hard plastic, if they fall of the chair the chair won't collapse on them or trap fingers, hands or arms it doesn't hurt them if it lands on them. Best thing of all durable and washable.
Step 2 Safety is unmatched.

First of all, I love Step 2! I have the big Lifestyle kitchen, the Storybook Cottage, the Lookout Treehouse, and several other things. I purchased these chairs to go with the kitchen inside, and in the Storybook Cottage outside. Immediately after getting them out of the box, my daughter, who is 2, tipped over repeatedly. I was afraid to put them outside in the Cottage, but so far, she hasn't hurt herself. She learned to wedge them between the table and the corner of the Cottage to keep them from tipping. All of your products are top of the line, but I don't know what happened with these chairs.
Great addition for the Storybook Cottage

These need to be redesigned. IF the legs were angled out at bottoms they may not tip as much.

I was so excited when I found the table and chair set that matched my daughter's lovely Step2 kitchen that she enjoys so well. I love it because of the country design that fits in my kitchen just like it belongs there. I have the kitchen in our kitchen so my daughter can cook when I do, etc. The table was a great addition. And these two additional chairs I purchased to make 4 chairs for friends matches the originals perfectly. The chairs are great. Durable, very light for my 3 year old to pack around and use anywhere. And a lovely color that matches about any house!

However, they have tipped over on my children many times. They are not very stable.

I do like the quality of these chairs and the fact that I can use them indoors and outdoors. It was nice to be able to purchase additional coordinating chairs. However, my only complaint is that the color lot of the plastic of the two additional chairs I just purchased is a little different from the chairs I already had. They do not match as well as I would have hoped, but I am still happy overall.

I really enjoy every single item we've bought from Step2. We have the Water table, a kitchen, a table & folding chairs, the Clubhouse Climber & swingset, a wagon, the picnic table, Kangaroo Climber, sandbox & the push buggy. Our latest purchase was the Lifestyles Chairs that we bought to go with the folding chairs and table we already had. The folding chairs were lower to the ground and great for my 22 month old, but they weren't good for Mommy & Daddy when we tried to sit at her table with her...so we bought these chairs as additional seating and they work PERFECT! They support our adult weight and yet keep us at her level for playing and eating. As always...GREAT PURCHASE from my favorite kid company.
