Basic, neutral, but good set for a small toddler. Made in U.S.A. which is a plus since they end up in their mouths all the time! The utensils we have seem to have a bit of residual plastic that was not trimmed in manufacturing and is a little rough, but otherwise a durable set that I feel safe giving a baby.

This product is very nice. My daughter finds the lids easy to put on and remove. It's also very realistic. My only negative comment is that it picks up dirt easily. It had dark smudges on it when I took it out of its packing. Fortunately, the marks came off with some soap and water.

I just received these today after ordering them from another site and while they are cute and I am sure my daughter will enjoy playing with them, the quality is actually not what I was anticipating. The salt and pepper shakers don't have a bottom and feel flimsy like they could be crushed fairly easily, the "sporks" have leftover threads of plastic stuck between all of the tines, and everything seemes a little rough and unfinished. There are also little flaws of leftover plastic from where these must have been separated from each other in production on the side of each and every piece. The plastic does seem solid (other than the shakers) and once I clean up the manufacturing 'leftovers' of rough plastic I am sure my daughter will love them. Just be prepared to smooth out rough edges and peel off residual plastic before giving these to your child to play with! On the plus side, I LOVE that Step2 still manufactures its products here in the US! Plus the price on these is great!

I purchased our first set of dishes and pans along with the kitchen and pantry for my girls 13 years ago(then 3 and 6). When they outgrew them I sent them to my niece. I now have a 2 year old and they have been returned back to me for her. The set still looks just as good as when my older daughters used them. I'm now ordering another set only because the colors on the new set match her decor better. as for the old set, my toddler now uses them for snack time. They're just the right size for small hands and are dishwasher safe. [...] is all I buy for my children. They are so durable you still get your moneys worth years after you purchase them.

This is not your average kitchen set. These are nicely crafted and heavy duty. I have a rowdy almost three year old boy who is rough on stuff. I also watch a 1 1/2 year old niece and 2 1/2 year olf nephew who are constantly tossing this stuff around. It is very hearty and holds up to their torture well. This is not your average bendable cracking cups and lids. I could not be happier with the set that we have purchased.
