I do daycare for 5 grandchildren and we use this for activities and when they all get bigger as a table for meals. The chairs are very sturdy and won't fold up without adult help which is a great plus. I like the fold up design so I can put it away when the kids aren't here. It is a little wobbly which I don't like but other then that it is good.

This table is just the right size for 2 or 3 kids to color on with elbow room to spare. I have it in my kitchen which has a tile floor and I did have to buy grippers to go on the legs of the table and chairs because they are very slippery on tile. Other than that it was a great buy.

I had an extremely difficult time getting the screws into the legs. I had to re-drill each hole and even then it took extreme force to get the screws in (we wound up stripping one of the 4). I'm glad I put it together a week before my daughter's birthday, I would not have wanted to mess with it the night before or day of.

We have used this table and chairs for meals and for play. It is a nice size and folds easily. The granddaughters are 3 and 2 and it is just the right size for them to eat, color, build blocks, etc. The only issue I have with it, is that it slides too easily on the wooden floor but I intend to put something like rug gripper on the bottom of the legs to remedy that. I love it and know the girls will get a lot of use out of it.

We have 20 month old grandtwins , and wanted a table & chairs that we could use when they visited with us. The table is actually larger than I thought and storage is some what of a problem ( I was hoping it would fit under the crib - but doesn't) Lot of table room for the two not to get into each others space. My husband and I bought this for Christmas for our 8 month old to hold onto. He likes to pull himself up and play with toys on the table top. Right now, we aren't using the chairs, but they are very durable, thick plastic, and do fold up. (My husband likes this feature) Our 3-year old nephew sat at the table for Christmas dinner very comfortably. The table however, is not as durable. The top itself is thick plastic, easy to clean and has a lip so stuff won't roll off easily but the legs are VERY flimsy. The table has a tendency to sway if pushed against. The legs are not the same thick plastic but a thin molded plastic so they can be easily folded. Overall, we are happy with it but not sure how long it would hold up if it was being used daily by toddlers or older kids.

My mom bought this table for my daughter a year ago. My kids who are now almost 3 years and 1 year use the table every day. It has been used to color, eat snacks, play with all kind of toys(including hammers :) ) and to read books. My youngest is rough with toys and the table pretty much looks like new even after a year of use. I wondered about it since it was made of plastic but the table and chairs are both very sturdy. They also lock so I don't have to worry about the chairs or the table legs folding up while they are playing.

Table is big!!! Table and chairs fold easily and compactly. Make sure screws in table legs are tight enough so that they are stable. Chairs are a good size, but she slipped off the seat a few times before she got used to them. Best on carpet until you see how your child will do with the chairs. This table and chairs set is of good quality overall. Really the only issue is the bottoms of the table and chair legs being very slippery on a hard floor (wood laminate). We bought some of those little stick on rubber grippers which have helped tremendously! Otherwise, nice product, my son really enjoys having his own table and chairs. Plus, its easy to clean. Just stick to washable crayons and markers!

This was a gift for my parents, something for the grandkids. Once opened it was easy to set up and the kids loved it. They played with playdough all afternoon. It was easy to fold up and once folded it is compact for easy storage. We like that because of materials they are made of this is perfect for indoors or outdoors. We often have family bbqs and the young children usually sit on parents laps because bringing several highchairs outside is difficult and the kids want out of the highchairs constantly. This allows the kids to eat at their leasure and play as well with the only task for parents is providing food toys and supervising. I love the table and chairs, but the chairs are meant for very small children such as toddlers under 3. Older children are too big for the chairs. The table and chairs slide around on our tile floor, so there needs to be some kind of traction on the bottom of the legs to avoid slipping around. That way she won't keep falling out of the chair and I won't have to keep checking on her to scoot her in.

I do daycare from my home and thought this would be a great table to use for the center of the playroom to play on and use for coloring and such. The size is perfect and I love that it is in somewhat neutral colors and has a ledge to keep crayons and such from rolling off. It's great that it folds up to save space if not using it.However, it is unstable. The screws to the legs do not really have anything to screw into except drilled holes in the plastic. This is where the legs attach to the table, so therefore the table is wobbly and I get worried it is going to fall with the kids using it. [...]

I bought this rather expensive table, becuase I thought it would be sturdy and it had a large surface area. The fact that it folds up is nice, but this feature causes the legs not to be sturdy and they broke on day two. This table is not for use with toddlers age 1-4. What a wonderful product. We purchased this set plus extra chairs for the future when our daughter was 17 months old. It fits her just fine with room to grow. She can "almost" get on the chairs by herself and can get down with no problem. Chairs and table are VERY stable. Nice roomy tabletop and the foldaway option is just what we needed. I use the table in my sunroom for lunch and crafts, play-doh etc. The great thing about this table is the multiple uses.
The things that are not so great is that one of the reasons I bought the table is because of the wide table legs, but they are flimsy and the table is unsteady, and the chairs keep moving. It works better on carpet but then I would not be able to use it for food and arts and crafts, and my daughter likes to push the table away to get up when she is done and has more difficulty doing this on the carpet. And says she is stuck.
Overall, I must say I was most dissapointed with this product.

We bought this for our 2 year old daughter for Christmas to replace a table and chair set that she had outgrown. She uses it all day, every day to eat at, color at, do crafts at, etc. I like that the raised edges keep things from rolling off, but that they aren't too raised and in the way.
It's a great size when set up and also when folded down. It fits perfectly under her bed when we need to put it away.
We plan on purchasing extra chairs in the future and can't wait until our son is big enough to use it as well.

My son is only 17 months and I was afraid this set would be too large. He loves to stand by it and play as well as practice getting on the chairs himself (since he can't reach well). The chairs are sturdy so he is able to do this. My only dislike is that the weight of the table and/or legs seem a little unstable. I like that the table is a rectangle as well - more play space.

I bought this set for my son's bedroom. He's only six months and not old enough to use it yet, but we have had a number of toddlers over who have tested the durability for us.

The colors are very nice. It seems I bought the older model which had the table come in all tan vs the newer model with the yellow legs. I actually like the tan color better since it was easier to match my neutral color room.

Putting the table together was a snap literally! The instructions were fairly clear, but even without it, it wouldn've been easy to figure out what to do. The legs snap into each orner, you put in a few screws, lock it in place, stick on the optional stickers and voila, you have a kid's table up in 10 minutes. The weight of the table was actually heavier than I had expected which helps to ensure that it can't just topple over when a child bumps into it.

The only con is that two of the legs aren't exactly straight even though I've tried my best to adjust it. It's only very slight and lucky for us the table remains stable and not wobbly at all.

The chairs have seats that look quite small when compared to the rest of the chunky-looking chair body, but the kids between 1-2 seemed to fit fine when they sat on it. Not sure if any kids above 3 would be as comfortable though. Other than that, there didn't seem to be any problems with possible tipping over and again, I love that the colors were very neutral.

My son LOVES it, he plays with his cars and trucks on it all the time. The only this I have noticed is the chairs have no traction on them, my son just slips and slides around :(. As a parent I love it too, very easy to assemble, all in all though a good product.

The beige color is perfect for not being the center of attention in a room; the folding chairs are sturdy and do not collapse and the table is also sturdy, a good table size for space and does clean easily. Very pleased!

My girls (21 months) love this table. They feel grown up as they sit at the table when they eat their food.
The table is bigger than I expected. It is a good size when doing crafts/painting and cleans up very nicely.
The only con would be that the chairs would be a little bigger and 4 came with it instead of 2.
Overall I like the set very much.

The table top could be sturdier. I have bought other Step 2 products and was very pleased but for the cost of this set it's not worth it. The table top has a warning of only 15 pounds. The chairs are very sturdy but I only wish the table top was the same.

I was looking for a table for my 2 year old daughter that would be good for her and her brother when he's old enough to use it too. I love the plastic - don't have to worry about my walls or other furniture getting scratched when my daughter rearranges her furniture. The lip on the edge of the table keeps the crayons, markers, tea set and small animals from falling or rolling off. The chairs are the perfect size for my daughter (with a bit of room to grow) and I can even take a seat for a cup of tea (a bit awkward but do-able). Assembly consisted of 5 minutes, a screwdriver and 4 screws...doesn't get better than that!! So pleased, I'm looking for other play items from Step2.

We purchased this table/chairs for our 2 yr old. The chairs are very sturdy and just about the right size, however the table isn't what we were looking for. It is not very sturdy, and while he's working/coloring it will slide around because it's so light. One of the corners is dented on the table - not sure if it came this way or if it happened here, but we've only had it 2 weeks. I'm going to try to return it and buy something more sturdy.

We bought the table and chair set for our son, who just turned three. He loves the independence of having his own little table and I love that it's so easy to clean. I also love that we can fold the table and chairs for storage purposes, to take the set outside or to a friends house.

The only "negative" that I can think of is that this table is a little too lightweight, it slides when my son leans on it while he's eating, playing play-doh, coloring, etc. But being lightweight makes it easy to fold up, so I'll take the folding feature over a heavier table.

We have ordered several other Step2 products in the past few years and have been very pleased with each purchase. Thanks, Step2, for another quality product.

The set is the perfect size, stylish, (we have the tan set and it matches the toybox we also bought) practical, well-priced and easy to clean. My 15-month old is able to safely get in and out of the chairs on her own and will continue to be able to use it for a couple of years because of its size. I anticipate my daughter and our son-on-the-way using the set together, even though they'll be almost two years apart. The height of both the table and chairs is exactly what we were looking for. Many other sets we saw were taller, too tall. The chairs are extremely sturdy, durable, and don't tip over. We love them. The table is stable but I don't want to put the legs to the test on our carpet since there seems to be give when my daughter pushes on the table so we placed it in a corner, which prevents any problems. That makes it nice and sturdy and she doesn't have the urge to try to move it around on our carpet where the legs will grab. Overall, I'm very happy with it and would definitely buy it again.

My 20 month old grandson loves this table! He stands at the table to roll his cars on it and to build with his blocks. He very nicely sits at the table to eat his snacks and put his puzzles together. The table and chairs are very easy to clean. The slightly raised lip around the edge of the table helps prevent drink spills from ending up on the floor. We did put rubber pads on the bottom of the table legs to keep the table from sliding on the carpet, but it's certainly not necessary. The set folds up and easily fits in his closet. Just a great product!

This is the second set that I've ordered for my grandchildren. The first one I used here at our house and they absolutely love it. It's the first place they go when they come over. This is an overall great table. Just add plastic tabs to the bottom of the chairs and they don't slide on the tile. There was basically no set up for the table. The plastic was a little discolored on the legs of the table but not to bad.

We finally got rid of the coffee table and replaced it with this folding table and chair set and we love it!!we have a 16 mo girl and almost 3 yr boy and they both can move the chairs where they want, it is the right size for them.The best is, the "magic eraser" cleans the crayons and markers off it so easily.

I'm very happy with the purchase. My 20 month old took to it right away. It's the perfect height and easy for him to sit on the chairs without help. He eats snacks and does art work on the table. The only draw back is that the
chairs slip on floors. We have the table on a rug, which keeps everything slide proof. But the poor rug gets all the paint splatter. I'm looking into some kind of plastic adhesive to put on the bottoms to prevent sliding.

This table is a great size for little ones, is easy to put together and relatively inexpensive, compared to a wooden table. The chairs tend to slide easily so your child needs to make sure he is on steady footing before trying to sit down.

This is a big table, nice for projects or even hors d'eurves. Unfortunately, the table itself is a bit wobbly and the legs do not lock in place when the table is closed so it is hard to carry the table up and down stairs as the legs keep falling open. The legs do lock when open though, so it is safe.

Nice sturdy table, like it alot, looks good too. Would have liked to have seen an age range or height/weight range for the table prior to purchase; my 21 month old is on the small side and the chairs are too big for his legs. He is 32 1/2 inches tall and his legs don't touch the ground when he sits. He will grow into it; he does like it though.

I love the size of the table- it seats 3 toddlers comfortably. I think the legs are a little wobbly but it is nice that legs fold in for storage purposes. It is durable and has not flipped over even when toddlers climb over it. It's definitley a good value.
