Kennedy, my 2 year old niece has almost the whole collection -- these toys are hard to find. If they were more available, I think more people would be inclined to buy them instead of the Fisher Price ones. Kennedy has those also, but these are just much more oriented for little kids. I think it's a great toy. Please make them more available, especially stores like [...]. Children need these kinds of toys instead of the cheap ones that people are capable of affording now-a-days. Again, well done Step2... it's a great product -- the whole line is!

My 22 month yr old loves it. We bought it for her for Christmas and she's been playing with it every day ever since she opened the box. She enjoys the sounds and tries to imitate them herself. I'd recommend this product to others.

Although my 3 year old grandddaughter requested a castle for her princesses this Christmas, the cottage was a great starter house to enhance dramatic play. She has played with it daily since it arrived and her 18 month old brother loves discovering the buttons to make the sound effects work. The tv is especially enticing. Putting people to bed or for a ride in the car or watching tv are just the beginning of the pretend play possible with the cottage.
My only suggestion would be the addition of a 5th sound effect, like the fire station has. The toilet flushing or the dog barking would have been a nice additon.
It is a sturdy toy with lots of play value.

My granddaughter is 2 and thanks to the Step2 12 days of deals, I saw this and figured it would be perfect for her as a Christmas gift. She LOVES it! It was one of the things she actually played with Christmas morning and she continues to play with it on a daily basis. Everything is appropriately sized for her little hands and all the features are so imaginative. She immediately figured out how to make the doorbell ring, tv turn on, etc. It went home with her and is one of her favorite playthings. My only regret is that for the reasonable price it was offered, I wish I had bought 2 of them and kept one at my house for playtime during visits! It's a great value. We are very pleased with the product.

My (22 month old)son absolutely loves the way the people that cames with the house fit in his little hands...he carries 'momma' around with him everywhere. He also loves ringing the doorbell on the house.

My 17month old LOVES this little house. It is the only toy that has consistently held his attention for a long period of time, over a long period of time. He can identify with the family and makes them do things that he is familiar with in day-to-day life. We've also used it as an introduction to new activities and even the potty (sister has to go to the potty, sister washes her hands), and he's caught on very quickly. Some detail with the painting was a little disappointing when it first arrived, but I figured my little one would put his own wear and tear on it soon enough. But it's a beautiful little house. I love the simplicity over other over-busy toys in the same class. My son loves the sounds, and we certainly plan to purchase more MainStreet accessories to expand his world. Thanks!

Step2 has very durable products! The lines are clean and easy for little hands to grasp. Items are large enough to be safe if put into mouth. Figures are sweet and realistic. Very simplistic--not overdone.

We gave this to my daughter for her 3 year old birthday. We all love it (including her 1 year old brother)! As a parent, I love that everything is attached - it makes for easy clean-up and no lost pieces. The house is so cute. I couldn't tell from the pictures on-line but was so pleased to find it included a computer, stack of books, cooking utensils/pan, welcome mat, toy, vase of flowers etc. in the decorations. My only complaints are that I wish the door to the refrig. and the lid to the toilet opened. The cooking sound does not sound realistic - it sounds more like a car motor to me. The paint that they used has smeared in a few tiny places. Overall, it is wonderful. My family will get years of play out of this. This is an excellent price for a classic toy.

I bought this for my 2 year old. She loves it. She is a kid who loves doll houses though. Could be boring for some kids. I feel this is well made and durable. The plastic is reasonably tough. There are beds and furniture and a kitchen that is NOT removable, which for me is a benefit- no lost pieces. My daughter likes putting the people in the beds, the chair, and the tub. The sound effects are very cute. I would recommend this item for young kids 18 months-3 years.

We bought this for our one and a half year old daughter for christmas and she loves it she plays with the little people for hours although she has lost the mommy she is happy with the brother sister daddy and puppy i am now looking to purchase other sets and see if we can get extra people as well.

My daughter started playing with the play house and all of its components right away. We had a hard time from keeping her away from the box while we took the items out of it. She actually goes right to it and plays with it when she gets up in the morning. Being a two-year old, this is wonderful for her. She talks and plays with house and all of the included items. It is really great to see her interacting and creating on her own!

I bought this for my 18 month old Daughter for Christmas. She loves taking the kids and putting them to bed. My son who is 3 also loves to play with this house as well. The noises it makes are great they are so realistic sounding. I am looking into getting the other pieces they love it so much.

Our 2.5 year old daughter adores her new "dollhouse". The little figures are the perfect size for her hands without being too small. She can easily move the cottage from room to room with her throughout the day. The only reason I gave this product 4 stars is that the sounds are just too loud and there is no way to adjust the volume.

My 18 month old daughter is just getting interested in doll houses and this is a great starter doll house. She likes taking the people out and putting them in different rooms.

The music on ours is kind of funky - it goes off at odd times.

Great cottage, we got it to go along with my daughter's Step2 Sunny Side Farm set. She likes to play with the interactive parts, never tiring of encouraging the family to watch TV. The house has a simple layout that she seems to deal with better than if it were too detailed, less chances of breakage.
