My grandson suffers from Autism and doesn't verbalize. Since we have put the Mainstreet Village Collection in the toyroom, he is speaking more as we play. We already had the Main Street Village Cottage and the Train, and knew we had to add the Airport, Community Helpers, & Sunnyside Farm to our collection. He has increased his interactive playtime, is using verbal responses such as "vroom,vroom" & "choo, choo" when playing with the cars, planes, and train. Says "hello & goodbye" when the doorbell rings on the cottage, and will imitate animal noises. He even carries some of the toys with him as he moves from room to room. Spontaneous Verbal Responses! Interactive Play! THEY ARE A HIT IN HIS BOOK & MINE!

I've never been a big fan of Little People, so I got my son the Firehouse and Airport for his birthday. We've only had them a few days, but I love them. The people and attention to detail are adorable, they're not so big and bulky so they're easy to store. I'm buying the farm next!

The Fun Flights Airport is just that - A LOT of fun - according to my almost 3 year old! The plane, motorcycle & helicopter, flight tower and 3 figures are a lot bigger than expected. All is made out of sturdy, smooth plastic with rounded edges that has a nice feel to it. The plane makes a take off noise and therefore gets the most play time in our house. The set comes with a sturdy backlined playmat and after positioning everything on the mat play evolves naturally. The imaginary play is so intriguing that most time my 5 year old will join in the fun.
Also, the vehicles and figures are great to take along to a restaurant!
My only suggestion: Brighter colors please!

We bought the community helpers set and the airport for my 19 month old son for Christmas. He loves the airplane and the vehicles. They are all well constructed with great detail. There are sounds and moving parts on all the pieces. I can see him using these toys more and more as his imagination grows. I would have given 5 stars if a storage box would have been offered. There are a lot of pieces to clean up and it would be nice to store them all in one place.

My 3 yr old loves this playset! He has flown on multiple trips to far off lands. We love the fact that it includes a playmat(only wish they all did) to encourage more play. We think this is an awesome product and hope to add on to our village very soon. We hope the company comes up with even more.
I have a 2yr old of my own plus a 3yr and a 6yr old who live with us. I barely got it out of the box when the 3 girls took off flying around the house. They all love this set!

I purchased this set for my 2 yr old nephew and he loves it. He is crazy about airplanes and I hear "vroom, vroom" all day long. He uses his imagination when he plays with this set and it keeps him occupied. This is the only toy he has not lost interest in and it also is good for his imagination. The only problem is that the propeller falls off the airplane and the little people fall out easily when they fly upside down - and they fly that way quite a lot at his airport. Other than that, this play set is durable. My only other complaint is that the two pilots are male and the air traffic controller is a woman. Women can be pilots, too! Otherwise, it's a wonderful toy.
I plan on buying other sets to add on to this one for my nephew and I expect to buy sets for my one yr old grandson in the near future.
