We absolutly love this climber my children love it, the only bad thing I have to say about it is that they have lost the phone!
My 20 month old son loves the club house climber. It will not be big enough for him much after 4 though. He is a lot taller then the average child. He plays with it almost everyday and we have kids over all the time to play too!
pretty easy to assemble except roof support on small sections
I am pleased with this product. It has pleasantly surprised me in the quickness of assembly, and entertainment value. I care for young children aged 15 mos. - 3 1/2 yrs. and they all love it! Yes, the red stools do get pushed down the slide, but they are surprisingly sturdy to sit on. They love the bridge and the many peek-a-boo spots. It feels very safe because the top is adequately enclosed and I can feel good about the little ones being up there. There are play aspects that appeal to the very physical & curious child (like the slide climber and tunnel) as well as fun for the more imaginative or independent playing child (like the kitchen area and wheel/spy scope). The only drawback is it is definitely designed for the very young...don't plan on it holding up to a four year old! This is best purchased as soon the child is sturdy on their feet. Hope you enjoy as much as we are :)
Once we FINALLY got this put together (it took us about 3 hours!), it has been a great toy for my backyard. My daycare kids just love it! I have had ages 15 months-8 years old play on this.
The best investment i could ever had made, dont have a lot off money and wanted to make sure that my son would love what we bought him, and that he does, it went together very simply and seems to be holden up realy good, he makes us (mom and dad) get in it with him..lol the only thing isif ur over 6' dont try getn in the tunnel, u will get stuck, belive me..lol it wont be a waste off ur money!!!
The product is great! My daughter loves playing on it!It was easy to assemble, it only took an hour to put together. [...]
We bought this for our 10month old son and he loves it. It is just the perfect size and enough to keep his interest.
My wife and I had the clubhouse together in about an hour and a half. It doesn't get much easier. We are very pleased with this product. My 3 year old son is in love. I would recommend this to anyone with 2+ year olds.
I am six months pregnant with our second child, but my husband was able to put this together over the weekend. However, he had to force the plastic parts to fit together, they didn't just "pop" or "slide" into place as the directions said. Our son loves it. [...]
We bought this for my son's 2nd birthday and he LOVES it!! It was super easy to put together and is super easy to move if needed.
Images shared by: mommytotylerWe used this fun play structure on our playground for younger children at our daycare center. They have thoroughly enjoyed it!
My mom and I assembled this together, we had to work and push and pull on some of the pieces but it didn't take long at all. The kids LOVE it! They are between 1 and 4 yrs of age so I think older kids wouldn't like it as well. Its perfect for them. They climb up, over, under and enjoy every inch of it. The only con is how pricey it is but that's just how these climbers are. For the price, compared to other climbers and brands its considered reasonable. Its very stable, easy to move over to mow, doesn't hold rain like some of the others do and is big enough for 6 preschoolers to enjoy at once.
My son loves this club house. He can fully engage his imagination while playing and it feels like his "very own house." I only wish we could add on features, like a swing or bigger slide, because it doesn't take up as much space as we thought it would.
I bought this for my 4 y/o son and assembled it in our backyard. I am a fairly handy person who does a good deal of my own home maintenance. Notwithstanding, putting it together was a nightmare; the "snap together" holes did not align well. It has since come apart from my son and hid friends playing on it and whilst trying to snap it back together, it basically self-destructed. The only thing holding it together were the long screws I had put in myself to try to stabilize the thing.I am beyond furious at having spent [$] on this garbage and the only two things keeping this from being dumped on Goodwill tomorrow are the fact that my kid would be upset and I am not sure I want to be responsible if some other child winds up with it and gets hurt when it falls apart again.I will never buy another Step 2 product and cannot strongly enough urge others not to purchase this.
We got this for my son's 2nd birthday!! He was so excited when he first saw it!! He loves to play on it. The only con I would put is that it is rather pricey...but so far it has been worth it!! It was VERY easy to put together!! My husband and I did it in about 30 mins.
I AM A DAYCARE PROVIDER AND I PURCHASED THIS PRODUCT FOR THE CHILDREN IN MY CARE. I HAVE CHILDREN FROM BIRTH THUR TEN. AS SOON AS THEY CAN WALK THEY GO STRAIGHT FOR THIS TOY! THIS IS A WONDERFUL ADDITION TO OUR "STEP 2 BACKYARD". THE CHILDREN GET HOURS OF ENJOYMENT WHILE LEARNING NEW SKILLS (BALANCE, CLIMBING, SLIDING, INNERACTIVE PLAY, IMAGINITIVE PLAY, ROLE PLAY,SHARING,ETC.)GREAT BUY!!!
It was an easy assembly. My 2 yr. old and her friends (2-4) love it! We put it in the backyard under a tree so that it really seems like a treehouse. The phone was not a good thing for outdoor use. It lasted about a day before it stopped working. We love this play structure. Only wish that they weren't so expensive but atleast we will get lots of use out of it for many years to come.

well lets see i have 7 grand babies who just love this climber.. i actually got it at a garage sale the owners were moving and it was layng against there garage all full of dirt she asked if i wanted it they didnt want to drag it with them .. i said sure how much she said how bout 20 bucks.. lol i said okkkk.. and her husband actually delivered it free.. my husband paid him a little extra just for the gas we cleaned it up soaped it down and my grandkids love it they range from 1-8yrs old.. garage sales are awsumn... hahah and it looks brand new... you just never know what you will find.. ;-)
we love this toy at day care!! it is a train, a fort, a pirate ship, a fast food place, you name it the kids have done it! I love how is looks in the yard and is wearing very well!!
I bought this product for my 3 year old daughter. It is very expensive and it wastes a lot of energy to put them together. The instruction manual is not helpful, should have been the person who can install them together wrote the manual. The parts should have easy access to put together is better to screw every inch of the holes. Overall, the product is not as good as the price. What a waste of money!!!
I enjoyed the product [...]
My children love crawling around on it and underneath it! They have have fun with all afternoon!
My almost two year old boy loves this climber. I read the reviews and agree with most that this is a great outdoor toy. [...] If only they could attach a swing at the end, it would be perfect.
From time to time we have to slide this a couple inches (snake prevention) and each time we have to slide it, it all 'snaps' apart as easily as it supposedly snaps together! Although we can manhandle it to get it snapped back together, the rock wall and the slide are very difficult, almost impossible to get back on with out disassembling the entire unit. The kids LOVE it when it is all put together, but due to the hassle of getting it back together, it spends more time in pieces and used in other ways for the kids (the slide makes a good ramp for hotwheels!)
My 2 year old little girl likes this climber a lot, but we never could have afforded if it wasn't for some help from her grandparents! [$] is outrageous for a bunch of plastic pieces. If you have the money, then go for it, but if not... my daughter would have been just as happy with a cheap slide and some boxes!
My 1 1/2 year old loves this playground! With all the different stuff on it she is easily entertained for hours. My 4 year old nephew and 6 year old niece love it too. Good for all ages! I would buy it again and have told my friends about it. I was expecting it to be a little bigger from the picture but it still is good size.
Its a really nice product! My 2 year old just loves it! But it gets WAY too hot in the sun. The only thing is, once its put together, you cant really pick it up and move it...it starts to come apart. So you have to push it or drag it to keep it in one piece. But it has fun features for the kids, its not too high off the ground, and you can just hose it off if it gets a little dirty! I would definataly buy this product again!
Item was purchased for 2 yr. olds birthday. Contrary to other reviews, I assembled this item very easily in under 1 hour. Biggest suggestion is to use a power drill. The quality surpasses any Chinese made "wanna be" outdoor playcenter. 2 yr. old loved this item.
We were looking for something fun for the backyard for the summer for our two young girls since they are too young for a large swingset yet...they love to climb, hide underneath, use the slide and have a pretend lunch. Wonderful product, would buy it again
My grandson 2years, loves this climber and grandpa had no trouble putting it together. Its very well made and sturdy.
The clubhouse climber looks great in my back yard. Assembly took me over an hour by myself...you do need a power drill and a hammer to make it easy. I was a little disappointed in the size of the climber. We have the playhouse climber and I was hoping size would be similar to that one. It still meets my expectations. I have three children, ages 3, 7, and 11 (petite 11 yr old), and they all love playing on the clubhouse climber. I also own a home childcare and all of the childcare children love it, too! Another great product from Step 2!
This took about an hour to put together and my daughter (20 months) was SO excited!
I am handy with tools but that was not needed when I assembled the playset. Best placed in the shade.
He was so excited to see the Clubhouse. He uses it everyday and thanks me all the time and says he has the best park in the world. It took no time to assemble and I would definately buy more products from step2
This is a great backyard playscape. My 2 year olds love it! It is the perfect size for ages 2-5. The tunnels and roofing makes it a little small for older kids (5+) but they had fun trying!
heats up in the sun and kids don't want to use. better in shade
Easy to move around the lawn to find shade. My 20 month old stays very busy with the stools, phone, table -- not to mention the slide and climbing. Good for 2-8 year olds? I'd say 3-4 year olds -- too small for 5-8 year olds. Good investment for us and I'm sure easy to sell in future.
This is a great addition to outside toys. My children love it. PROBLEM, please be careful the slide gets very hot in the sun. Hotter than the red or yellow colored slides. My children have cried when their legs touch the slide. It is even hot when you touch it with your hand. The kids won't use the slide, they would rather jump off it or climb down the steps.
Very fun for my 3yr old...just wish it was bigger! Other than that we love it!
I bought this for our church playground. It's perfect for young children, super easy to assemble, and very sturdy. It is a little smaller than I thought and it cost a little more than other similar playsets, but I think it was a good investment overall. The kids love it!!
I bought this for my 14month old grandson so he would have something to play on while at my house and he loves it. Even though it says 2 years on the age he needs supervised on the high parts but I can see it will only be a matter of a few more months and he will have it mastered. He loves it. It's very sturdy and durable and was very easy to assemble. I'm very impressed with this product and all the features it has to offer.
We use the product for our grandchildren, Its really easy for them to climb and not so high off the ground. It really has everything you need when looking for something to play on. It works great for a boy or a girl.
My one, three, and four year old LOVE to play in their new clubhouse, it fits them all fine not too small and just the right size. Even friends up to 7 years love to play on it. The colors are subdued enough it looks great in the backyard. My husband assembled it quickly in an evening after work with really no help from me. The stools never seem to stay in the clubhouse, they are a little tipsy, but they've dragged their own little chairs inside to use instead. I'll maybe get the stools bolted down. And the phone I doubt will last the rest of the summer, it will probably get lost or sand in it, but that's ok. It's a little pricey, but definately sturdy enough to last us summers of fun, my kids still being so little, so it's worth it.
I thought the design and usability of the climber was awesome! It was not completely simple to put together, but it was not as bad as some other equipment I have gotten from another company. Also, the kids love it!!!
We love this climber. Step 2 was wonderful about replacing the stickers that came off after powerwashing it. We received replacements and now it looks brand new again!
2 women set this up a 2 hr. morning, that's with a 20 month old and 4 year old climbing all over it while we were trying to assemble. they were having fun with it before they even knew what it was. it was relatively easy to do. my 20 month old son loves it and had fun steering and talking on the phone. he played on it off and on the rest of that day.
i love the naturally playful line, as it has a clean look in the backyard, and the other matching items looks so well with it.
as with others who commented, you do expect it to be bigger than it is. also, i was slightly disappointed with the quality of the product. right from the box it was covered in scratches. and some parts of the plastic are thin and there is a hole there ( this was also the case with the naturally playful sand and water table i bought )also once together it is a little shaky, but hoping it will settle into the mulch after a bit. the last thing is the panel the child stands on before they go down the slide bows when my son who is 30 lbs. stands on it.. there are some disappointments, but overall thrilled with the unit as i know it will entertain him and his friends for years, while it is pleasing for me to look at everyday. i would buy again.
Product is lots of fun for the kids. I would like to see other features on the playhouse that motivate their creativity.
We bought this for our son. He, at the time, was 18mos old. We bought this soley on the picture & other reviews (don't believe everything u read). Product was WAY smaller than pictured. All it is is a big, expensive slide. I could have bought a stand alone slide for WAY LESS and spent the rest on a real swing set. What a waste of plastic! They must have used REALLY short kids in the picture too. The "Ultimate" climber is not so ultimate.
Purchased this for our 2 year old and he absolutely loves it! Very sturdy and safe for young children. The only con is that it is hard for me to move it by myself to mow. I guess in the end that is actually a pro because it shows how sturdy and safe it is!
Our 13 month old twin girls LOVE this climber! It has plenty of room for both of them to climb, run around, and slide without getting in each others' space too much. We liked this climber because there aren't a lot of open sides on the second floor where the girls could fall off, and we've been pleased at how safe it seems. Assembly was incredibly easy and quick, especially for such a large climber. My husband and I finshed it in less than an hour. And as an example of the great customer service Step 2 offers, we called to order an extra phone to supplement the one that the climber comes with because the girls were fighting over it. Step 2 shipped us one absolutely free, with no cost, shipping charges or anything! The excellent customer service and the great products [...]have made me a loyal Step 2 customer. I enthusiastically recommend this climber!
My two year old son has spent many hours in the two weeks he has had his climber. He takes all of his toys in it and just utilizes every portion of the clubhouse.
Our 2-yr-old son was very excited to wake up from naptime to discover the clubhouse climber! He asks for his clubhouse and was worried the first time it rained - "oh no, clubhouse" - though it's perfectly weather resistant. Very good choice. Easy to clean with a spray of the hose and not too difficult to assemble (though it takes two).
Not sure if he'll still enjoy it at age 5 but perhaps 2-4.
I purchased this for my 2 year old daughter. She loved it but then it got blown over by the wind apparently and we had to take it apart and reassemble it. The ladder, slide, and flooring from the bridge have all come off. This has happened twice now. For spending hundreds of dollars, one would expect to receive a sturdy, well made climbing toy. This isn't the case. When I called to ask what I could do I was told to add sand to the walls - then I wouldn't be able to move it to mow since the item is so heavy - or buy an anchoring kit. I spent enough money on the toy that this kit should be sent with it.
My almost 2-year old just got this and loves it. He not only likes the slide and the climber, but feels like it his own little hide-out and enjoys all the little extras that are part of this playset.
My kids, 3.5 and 2 years old are enjoying this. It seems to me that it will get a little boring after a while, but so far they are having fun.
Step2 obviously has their act together. The directions for assembly were so easily followed and written in PROPER English! Made in the USA is always a perk! We had it in place and ready in UNDER an hour! Absolutely the easiest thing to put together that we've ever bought requiring assembly. Our daughter is loving it. High quality construction. Will last for years to come, I can tell.
I was honestly expecting a little more from the set
My 21 month old daughter loves this clubhouse climber! She plays on it everyday. It is good sized, I can fit in it with my daughter and it seems very sturdy. I think it will last her at least a couple of years. She loves to sit in the clubhouse and talk on the phone. I wish the stools could be anchored to the the floor somehow. My daughter struggles to get on and off the stools, but she is learning to hold on to the wall to get on and off of them. We put our climber in the shade so it doesnt get too hot. The climbing cups do collect water when it rains, so I just dry them out before she plays on it. My dad and brother put the climber together easily. They followed the instructions exactly and had no problems assembling it. I'm really happy with the quality of this product. It is expensive, but I feel it was worth it.

I purchased this because I take care of one of my grandchildren. She loves spending time in this. When all three of the grandchildren are here they all have a blast playing together on this. They also enjoy eating snacks at the table.
It is also great exercise for them.
My 23 month old loves his playyard.. The only con to this toy is that in the sun the slide is hot and he will not play on it.. We do not have too much shade to put this in so he has to wait until it cools down.. Other than that it a wonderful toy great purchase..

Purchased for the grandkids and they love it!!!
The children love it. I was really excited to have something else for the kids to play on. When i got it together I was a little disappointed of the size. I dont think its worth [$]. ideal for smaller children.
Bought this for my son't first b-day, he loves it!!! Nice design and my husband and I put it together in under 30 minutes!!!
