We bought the sandbox/bench combo and the kids all have enjoyed using it for the past two summers.

The umbrella has been up all of that time and had started to look bad so it was wonderful to see that they sold replacements!

We'll be sure to order more when we need a new one. All of the outdoor products are built really well!

We bought 2 of these to replace our old nes. One for the kids sand table and the other for their table and chair set up. We have purchased these in the past. They are pretty durable and nice looking, as well.

My boys- 4 under the age of 7 can eat outside under the umbrella. We have no shade in our backyard so this umbrella provides enough for them to eat. Nice to have them outside to keep the mess out there too!

I had to replace the original picnic table umbrella after 3 seasons. I am very pleased with the cost & quality of the replacement. The umbrella [...] was easy to assemble. The new pattern is ok. I liked the old, more neutral, pattern a bit more. However, this one is cute.

We had purchased the picnic table a few years ago. Although it has been pretty rainy this year, our girls like to sit outside and eat their lunch/dinner if the weather is nice enough. On the hot days they would complain of the seat being too hot to sit down and I would worry about them getting too much sun. This shades them great and keeps the seat from getting too hot for their legs. The design is prettier than I thought it would be. It's just what we needed! It was a gift for our daughter for her 3rd B-day, but I think her 5 year old sister was more excited than the youngest.

I just wish that the pattern was more colorful and coordinated more with our table. It is very nice and helps shade our 4 1/2 year old and 2 year old granddaughters when out playing by the pool.

We use this with a step 2 picnic table that we were given. The table is mainly used outdoors so protection from the sun was a must for my kiddos. The only drawback is that if it is a real windy day you have to hang on to the umbrella or it will blow away.

I ordered this product to replace the original umbrella that came with the picnic table. This one provides more shade than the original, so the kids can sit at the table and be almost completely shaded from the sun. The last one only shaded one side of the table. Seems to be sturdier as well. The kids are happier that they can enjoy their lunch outside on sunny days rather than be inside all the time.

Worked great with our 2 in 1 playtable. However, it is annoying that it doesn't have a tie strap to cinch the umbrella together when closed. Had to add my own, now it's perfect. Provides a wide area of shade.

We have the version of the picnic table with the creamy/tan and dark red strips umbrella. The wind got a hold of the umbrella and the metal insides bent and broke. I called for a exact replacement and found this umbrella was our only option. Would of preferred the older version. Not to fond of the new pattern.

I have never taken the time to review something before, but I was so disappointed in the quality of this umbrella material, I decided to respond to their request for a review. The umbrella material developed several small holes near the hinges within the first few days of using it. I was very surprised and disappointed. Unfortunately, this is the only umbrella I know of that fits the sand & water table, so we are continuing to use it with the holes.

The new outdoorsy leaf print for the Step 2 umbrellas this year is much better than the ugly brown stripes of last years' design. The beige color and the generous size are helpful for blocking out the sun over my daughter's picnic table.

One con - after two uses one of the tines popped out of the top hub and ripped the fabric. I was able to put the tine back into place.

Also, be very cautious of any wind. One mild gust took the umbrella straight up in the air and across the yard into the fence. It's *very* lightweight.

Note that although the umbrella fabric looked yellow to me on my computer, the main color of the fabric is a medium beige. Not ugly but not what I expected.

I use the umbrella on my daughters picnic table that is in her playground.
It's great to be able to have a childs size table and umbrella and it fits so well with her playground ensamble.
The only thing is the poor guality of the clip that tightens the umbrella pole inside of the anchor pole...it's plastic and of not very good quality.

I was very pleased. Umbrella was alittle larger than the original but that's better. The price was great. If you bought it in the store it cost more. The colors were different but it still matched.

I previously had the striped one that originally came with the naturally playful picnic table. It didn't last long since it was very flimsy, so I was happy to find this one to replace it. It seems improved and is also larger. The price for this product on the Step2 website was also the best I've found even with the[...], which surprised me.

This is a great umbrella. It is large enough to provide a good amount of shade and I love that it blocks UV rays. It's easy to assemble and is well made. Works great with the picnic table, but could also be taken to the beach on its own. I would not leave it open during wind storms, as it could blow away. We're very happy with this product.

The umbrella isn't incredibly well built, but it is fairly large and provides nice shade over the sand/water table. Plus, it does look nice. I actually picked up the table at a rummage sale but it was minus the umbrella. I was thrilled that Step2 offers the umbrella solo. Shopping at the site was also super easy. I would shop here again.

This is a nice, well-made umbrella. My son and daughter love to eat their lunch outside at their picnic table, but they were getting burned without any covering. This umbrella works really well to help that, I just wish the umbrella was slightly larger to help block the sun from the entire table (it only covers about half). We accidentally left it outside in a wind storm recently and there was absolutely no damage to the umbrella, which was a big surprise. Overall it is a great item that works well for my children.

We have a naturally playful swing set from a few years back. Sand and water tabel, 2 picnic tables and just got a play house. We needed to tie all the colors together from past years and current purchases. By getting this unbrella it pulls all our toys together. We also use the extra umbrella's in the yard for kids to sit under for shade. We take them down after every use and store them to reduce ware. They are the best priced from step 2 direct.
