We love the climber and our little one has enjoyed it for almost a year now. She has mastered climbing up the sides now at almost 2years of age and even loves sneaking away from our puppy. The puppy thoroughly loves playing in the bottom too!
I have a very tall 18 month old and he loves the kangaroo climber. He shuts the door and then hang out in the little "house". He slides his toys and himself down the slide. I had a hard time choosing which slide to get but I am so happy I got him this one. It has a little bit of everything. He doesn't use the steps yet, but I think he is too young for those. We have it set up inside for the winter and will put it out when the weather warms up.
This was a great purchase for my one year old son. He discovered quickly how to climb through the holes on the bottom and take his basketball and soccer ball with him in the process. He loves to climb up the slide and stand on the top and look out.
We have this in our living room right now so that he can enjoy it for a while with the weather getting colder. It is his favorite new toy.
Our twin 2 year olds LOVE this climber! I wish we would have purchased it 6 months ago.
My 1 year old LOVES climbing through the doorway. We actually bought ours second hand and it is was soooo simple to put together even though there were no instructions. Fantastic buy!
It is sturdy and easy to clean. my granddaughter is a little monkey and loves it. I have recommended this to all my friends and family and plan on buying other products.
I gave this to my grandchildren on their second birthday. They loved this climber. At their birthday party the other kids were equally excited about playing on it. I would following the weight requirments listed by the product. It is not for older children. Perfect for the little ones.
My son loves to climb this item, but it is CONSTANTLY coming apart. It's supposed to snap together for easy assembly, which is great, but it comes apart just as easy. We are constantly having to reattach a side or the platform. We love having it indoors, but we're thinking of screwing it together.
This play house is fantastic! My one year old knew just how to play with it as soon as I got it put together. He loves to open and close the door, climb up on to the platform and go down the slide. He also loves all the holes in the wall to play peek-a-boo through. We have ours in the play room so that he has a way to expend all his energy during inclement weather.
I gave this to my grandson for his first birthday and it was a hit with his parents also and that is important. They are keeping it in their den. In fact kids 1-6 years enjoyed this toy. [...]
This is a perfect toy for the basement or backyard. Our son loves it, and it's nice to know that it's made in the USA.
Love the compact size and light enough to move around the backyard to give the grass a break or finding shade. I am happy with the smaller size for my 20 month old daughter, and can see her using it for several years before needing a bigger size. She loves to send her Little People cars and her stuffed animals down the slide.

I bought a Kangaroo Climber 8 years ago for my first grandson. He was 18 months old and immediately started climbing up and sliding down the slide and swinging from the arch over the slide. The KC was very sturdy and didn't tilt at all. This KC is still in use with younger siblings. Now my son's first child just had his first birthday and I purchased another Kangaroo Climber for this family of granchildren. At this birthday party, children of all ages enjoyed playing on it. Next year another son will have a child having his first birthday and I will be buying another Kangaroo Climber. My older granchildren have come up with lots of creative uses for the Kangaroo Climber and still enjoy playing on it.
Granddaughters love to climb and slide. They also enjoy hiding under the platform.
We purchased this, second-hand, on [...] My 13mo old daughter LOVES IT. Keeps her from climbing all over the couch & us. Perfect size for indoors (we live in a townhome). My daughter enjoys it PLUS it looks great in our home. Only caution is the climbing ledge inside the climber. Your child will need assistance learning that they cannot lean back on the ledge. My daughter flipped backwards a couple times. I am sure this is why it is not suggested for a 1 year old.

Apparently the climber we ordered was defective, one wall did not connect properly with one of the side walls and the platform. The box had already been burned by the time my husband got to the assembly of this side of the climber.
Since my grandson is only 15 months old, he's not too heavy to still play on it, although next summer we will have to buy yet another climber since this one is defective.
Our two twenty-two mo. old twins quickly learned to climb all over and in it. With steps on each side and room in the middle, its something they can play on together. It took a little while for them to figure out how to make the slide slicker. However, by pouring a little water from their water table on it they made it into a fun-filled slippery slide.
We love having this in our indoor playroom! We bought it when our son was 15 months - needed to put a stool inside for a few months & really kept an eye on him at first. He's now 21 months - the stool is long gone and he loves to crawl through the peep holes, climb up the outside steps, slide down and race his matchbox cars down the slide. Great, multipurpose toy that doesn't take up too much space. We haven't tried it outside, but it's very sturdy and I'm sure would handle the elements just fine. VERY easy to put together.
Very impressed with my first order from Step2. Found the climber very fast & easy to put together and my 17 month old child LOVES it!

We got this for my son's first birthday. For the first couple of months, he enjoyed crawling in and out of the lower holes and opening and closing the door. Now that he is almost 16 months old, he is climbing all over the thing. He climbs up the sides and into the upper holes. He loves going down the slide on his belly. He has gotten pretty creative with the things he does. We keep this inside and he plays with this toy every day. There were about 2 days where we had to stand close-by when he would climb on this toy. He took a couple of tumbles and hit his head on the plastic just below the door. This lasted only a couple of days before he was aware of where the edge of the platform was and we could relax again. I would highly recommend this toy.
Great play set. Grandkids have enjoyed them.
My 19 month old LOVES it! The only thing is the arches are awfully short. She doesnt care about it though... and her dad fit through them to show her how to use the slide!! So it is pretty durable. As far as I know, I'm the second owner and the little thing is so tough, I bet it will see two or more new owners! In this day and age I really like that it is made in the USA. Not many things are anymore.

Great product. Easy assembly. Perfect features and sizing for the beginning toddler. Pleasing color scheme and great durability.
Our 2 year old loves this toy. She was a bit timid about playing on it at first but was going down the slide head first within an hour. It's been excellent for developing her agility and confidence.
My 17 month old son absolutely loves this. It was raining when we got this so we set it up in our living room and he crawls all over it. He loves going down the slide on his belly. He is able to do everything except climb the side stairs, but I'm sure that won't take long as he gets a bit bigger and more balanced. The kangaroo climber does a nice job of combining a playhouse and an activity center. Great toy!
I bought this toy for my great grandson who just turned two and has just started climbing, going through tunnels etc. He loves it and has covered every square inch of it. I wish I could hook one of his tunnels up to it, but cant. So far, he has had no problems with slipping, falling, etc. seems to be quite safe because of its compact size.
This was a gift for my 2yr old grandson and he loves it! Initially he just loved to slide down the slide now he's finding out he can climb the side. Great physical challenge. His parents set this up inside to provide a phsyical activity when the weather is to bad outside.

Our 16 month old twins love this product. The only negative is that the landing is small for two children and they have to climb up. In a couple of months I think it will be great.
This product was easy to assemble and is sturdy. My son was very excited when we put it together and immediately began to try to climb up and down the slide. I think that smaller children (my son is 16 months) are too little to use the "outside" step section. It could be improved by having some steps on the inside of the "box." The step from the ground up to the slide platform is too big for a smaller child to make.

I sent the Kangaroo Climber to my daughter in Asheville, N.C. for her very active 15-month old son and she said, "It came at just the right time! He was beginning to climb on everything in sight, and this toy is great for that stage, offering just enough challenge, while still being safe. He can't get enough of it and I'd recommend it to any parent of an active toddler!"
Used as an outdoor energy release for a 17 mo.old-it's just plain fun for exploring, climbing skills and imagination!!!

I did a lot of research on climbers before settling on the Kangaroo Climber for my 16mo. old son. I am happy to say I made the right choice. The Kangaroo Climber is just the right size and level for him. It is rated 2+ years but since my son was already going down bigger slides at the park, I wanted to get him a smaller slide/climber for home. He took to it right away and plays with it every day.
My only con or warning to other parents is to be careful when your child is still getting used to climbing up onto the green platform to go down the slide. Several times the first day my son got too close to the back of the platform as he got into the sitting position to go down the slide and toppled backwards off the platform. He quickly learned that he has to be careful and hasn't fallen since, but I wish I had been prepared for that. (I was in front ready to help him down slide. It would have been better to be on the side or in back.)
Other than that, it is extremely sturdy and was a breeze to put together without any tools. It does take a little muscle/weight to make sure the pieces completely lock together, but it is the easiest toy I have put together to date. I even wouldn't hesitate to disassemble it to take over to his grandparents house for the day; it is that easy to put together.
I like its size and how low to the ground it is, as well. We have it in his 12' x 12' bedroom right now and it doesn't take up too much room. It's light enough to push to one side, too. I looked at other, taller climbers but didn't want something that he could fall that far from. We have the Kangaroo Climber set up on a large interlocking foam mat and it is low enough that even if he did slip and fall off one of the climbing sides, he wouldn't get hurt.
Given its smaller size, the slide is shorter than other climbers. He's enjoying it right now, but I think he'll outgrow it by the time he is 3yrs. old, just based on it's size.
One other little tip: I have the Step 2 Soft Blocks and to keep things interesting, I stack a tower of blocks at the bottom of the slide while my son climbs into position. He loves sliding down and crashing into the tower!

Great product, my 1-1/2 year old grandson loves
the slide, especially opening and closing the door. Great price, I highly recommend this product, it is safe for small children.
all the kids love hangin out on it
We have the climber set up in our playroom. It was a Christmas gift for our 1 year old grandson. It is perfect for his age, he enjoys going in and out the door and he can climb up the slide then come back down on his own. He can't get enough.
My grandson loves it and plays with it constantly!
Highly recommended
I have a 14 mo. old. He is already very adventurous...this only adds to his fun. The green platform can be a little dangerous if they are not careful, but a fall or two will teach'em. I have placed foam pads under the whole thing for added safety. I researched a lot to find it and it is exactly as I read online. Good price...especially since it was a gift :o). Rec'd it kangaroo fast!!!

son loves to climb, so this product is great for expending some energy.

Simple assembly steps, but can be hard to get the pieces to full snap together tight. Once it's up though, it's a great toy for small children. In fact, you'll have a hard time keeping the "big" brothers and sisters off of it!
I bought it as a Christmas present for my one year old Granddaughter who loves to climb. It's indoors right now, keeping her busy and will be a great toy this summer outside.
Just wish there were add on pieces to expand it later on as she grows.

My son in 16 mos. and prefers to be outside. He likes to go to the park and play on the swing set. I can't take him outside during the winter and I felt like he was too bored inside. I bought this to bring the outdoor playtime inside to him. He loves it and it his perfect for his level and age.
We bought the Kangaroo Climber for our 14 month old "wild-child" and we couldn't be happier. It's very sturdy, easy to put together and most importantly, he loves it. Anyone with a little busybody that likes to climb should invest in this great toy.

My 10 month old loves this! This really keeps his attention.
I have this product in my house for my 18 month old granddaughter - easy to move around for me and a delight to her.

It was very easy to put together, much better than other toys I have assembled.
The size is perfect for a toddler.....looking forward to grandson playing for hours......
I know my granddaughter will love the slide and I like that if it's used outside, there is no bottom to collect water
Wow! I have this set up indoors in the playroom, and my 22 month old triplets have a great time climbing and sliding! Was easy to assemble, and they love it! There isn't anything negative I can find about it, and would definitely recommend!
I put this climber in my 14 month old's play room and it's great! When she has friends over they can all play on it. The only (minor) down side is that the platform kids have to climb onto to access the slide is a little high for my daughter to manage on her her own. In a couple of months though, she'll use it like a pro! The assembly could not have been easier. I didn't even need any tools!
i have twins and they love to play w/ the door and the slide. i wish that the side steps were a little wider, to assist w/ climbing. but the product is great.
I have 2 yr old twins that love the slide. I got it for them when they were 16 month and have not stop playing with it. It help them learn many things like go down a slide or climb in a safe enviroment. They love it so much we got the bigger version of it.
We have 18 month boy/ girl twins. We have it set up in our living room. They love to play on it.
Using this product for my 1 year old in the playroom. He may be a little too young to figure it out and climb up on the platform, but he is having fun with the slide and climbing through the holes.
My nephew loved the climber. It was just right for a 2 year old! The additional things like the door and wall climber made it even more fun!
My 18 month old loves this and I think she will continue to enjoy it until she is at least 3 or so.
I bought this for my home daycare as I was looking for something for the kids to climb on in the basement. The kids love it.
My 19 month old son loves this!!
great fun for 18 month old twins; will get lots of use both indoors and outdoors for several years.
This is just what I was looking for. I have a grandson who loves to climb. He plays with this toy for hours. He is 1 year old and it has been great for him developmentally climbing up, down, over and under.
My grandson's b-day is this week-end. I can hardly wait to see his expression when the 3 Step2 products are unwrapped.
I bought this for my son's 1st birthday. He and his 5 yr. old brother play on it everyday. We bought it because we wanted to keep it in the living room for days that are too cold, too hot, or too wet. They LOVE playing on it. They make tents out of a blanket thrown over the top, they slide, they climb, crawl and jump all over this toy, and it is still in brand new condition. The size is small but perfect for indoors and for a one year old. When they want to play, they drag it to the middle of the room and when they are through, they push it back to the corner. My 5 yr. old can do this by himself. This toy is attractive, durable, and fun. I put it together myself in less than 20 minutes. Worth every penny!!!!!
I have this indoors. My girls love it. 22 months & 16 months. Just have to keep an eye on them, they fall inside the shelf area. Would love it if it had attachments to add, tent top or tunnel.
My daughter loves her climber and plays with on it everyday. We bring it in when the weather is bad, but it is normally outdoors. This climber is great for toddlers since its not very big and its very sturdy. The platform holds two toddlers weighing at 22 pounds each very well. The colors are great and blend well with the outdoors which is one reason why I love the step 2 products. The climber is easy to disassemble to move around inside or out. The only con is that when it rains water traps inside and is hard to get out, but that con is minimal to its wonderful uses.
