My 16-month old son loves this playset. He quickly mastered climbing up onto the platform with the help of a small step stool (it is just a tad bit taller than he can reach). It took 3 adults to get the pieces to fit together correctly, but now that it is together it is very sturdy.
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
We bought this for our 2 year old's birthday gift and he loves it! He played on it for 2 hours the first night we assembled it. The only complaint is the door sticks and is too tough for him to open.
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
twin grandaughter love it , play peek-a-boo with it besides sliding and climbing. ages 18 mos.
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
I bought this because our twin girls love climbing on everything. In ordr to ensure that they would be safe, we got this. It is small, so it will easily fit in an indoor playroom. The step is easy for little kids to get on, and the door is fin for young kids to open and close. The first time they went down the slide, they were hooked. We have a winner!!!

I'm considering buying this for my 14 month old VERY active son to be placed in his grandpa's sunroom. Can it fit thru a doorway to move outside during the summer? Is it easy to take apart? Please email with answers!
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
Wonderful product. We are actually using it indoors during the winter months with my 14 month old son. It is very easy to put together and seems extremely sturdy. I have other Step 2 products that I really love.
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
Presently being used in the house for winter. Will move it outside in spring. Like the solid form of the equipment, stable, washable surface.
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
Our oldest grandson is a bit of a climber and we got this to distract him from climbing on hazardous furniture like doggie steps, etc. So far it has worked! He enjoys sliding down and also pushing toys down the slide.
Wish the door had a bump or ridge to grab onto for him...he's struggling with it a little because it's stiff to move. (20 months old).
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
used by grandson
sturdy construction
easy to assemble
no metal pieces or sharp corners for possible injuries
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
I bought it for my one year old and so far he hasnt been overly impressed. However I think he will like it more as he is older with even better coordination. He likes the slide, door and tunnel.
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
Bought this for our 18 month old daughter and she loves it. Her cousins love to play on it as well and the oldest if 4. So a great product for toddlers!
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
My husband and I are climbers (as in rock climbers), so we thought this looked cool.
*We keep this in the living room, and put it away during the week sometimes.
*Our daughter is 18 months and she likes to climb up both sides, more the side w/ steps than the side w/ cut-out circles. She can climb all the way up onto the platform on the inside by herself, but she does like to put her step stool in there so she can get up even easier. She thinks it is fun to slide down the slide, and w/o socks, climb up the slide. She likes to play with other toys with it, and go in and out and use the door and such.
*I think this is a good climber b/c:
-It has 4 different sides.
-The inside is fun both on and off of the platform, for an 18 month old, using other toys with it.
*Addressing complaints I read in other reviews:
-As for the height of the door, our daughter learned to duck as soon as she went in the first time. I told her that she would have to duck, showed her that the door arch was lower than her head, and she ducked and went in. That's a good thing to know how to do. :)
-As for the size of the steps, our daughter climbs right up them, to the top and over into the inside, on the platform. As she grows, I think she'll still be able to climb it. Good practice for later.
_________________________________________________
*I think this climber helps with climbing skills & balance, both great for climbing, of course, and great for anyone...especially toddlers who like to climb on all kinds of things and are still learning how to be steady on their feet in different situations.
*I'm glad we got it for her at 18 months, b/c she has a lot of fun on it now, and now she'll have longer to play on it than if we had waited until she was older.
*We spot her on this as she climbs.
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
We live in New England and winters are full of snow. We have this product in our grandson's playroom where he can climb and play when the weather is not conducive for using his outdoor play sets.
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
Santa gave this to our 1 year old twins last year for Christmas. It was so easy to assemble that Santa's helpers had time to enjoy a glass of Holiday cheer. I cannot stress how great this product has been. We kept it in the living room and our 7 and 4 year old boys also enjoyed it through the winter. The twins loved it! When the weather warmed up a bit we moved it outside. We had to take most of it apart, but it reassembled beautifully. It stayed outside all summer and we just brought it back in about two weeks ago. This time we put it in the twins bedroom and it's like it is brand new all over again. With 4 kids who play hard it has really taken a beating, but you would never know it by looking at it. We were very impressed by it's durability. Great job Step 2!

Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
I gave this to my nephew for his 1st birthday. Although the age limit was 18 months, he quickly learned to climb up and slide down by himself.
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
It is wonderful and it was so easy to put together that my 9 year old grandson assembled it! The children love it.
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
My son really enjoys playing on the slide all day long. Has many more features than first imagined.
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
Great!
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
This product was for my one year old's birthday. She loves it. The stairs are very small and weird but as I've noticed most kids crawl up the slide anyways. I love that it's not too big and can fit in her room quite comfortably.
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
The only things I don't like is there is not enough room between the door and the bench and there is not enough room on the outside climbers for a child's foot.
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
We are so gratefully to this toy. We are giving it to someone else to have their kids enjoy it for the years to come.
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
I bought this climber for my daughter 3 years ago. She loved it then at 18 months old. Now she is 4 and she still plays on it with my son who is 20 months. It is a little small for her now, so I bought the big folding slide, but she still uses this to climb on and hide in. This is a very sturdy product. It breaks down easily so I could bring it indoors for the winter. Itis still in great shape after 3 years! This is another great product by step 2!
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
The climber is located in my back yard. My daughter loves to play on it. It is a good toy but i think there should be more play space in the inside. The space gets tight if two children are in the climber.
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
Bought this for my one year old granddaughter. Probably another six months before she will be fully able to enjoy this climber.
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
We bought this for our daughter's 1st birthday and she *loves* it. She was walking at 9 months and was climbing up on furniture and the stairs so we wanted to get her something that she could be active with. She has a blast on this and slides her doll and plush toys down the slide along with herself.
The only issue we've had is that the door's threshold design isn't the greatest. It's very thick (for stability, I'm assuming) and it often causes my daughter to trip. We also purchased the interlocking foam playmats to use under this indoors but the place that she falls off most is the platform and she never fails to land on the threshold. We've taken to tossing a pillow on top of it to help cushion her landing.
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
It is an indoor toy and we love it
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
We love our new kangaroo climber. my daughter just turned 1 and she likes the slide. She isnt big enought to climb on it yet so I bought soft balls to put in bottom to play with she loves it. Prob will be a few more months before she can climb on everything. She just started walking so she isnt real sturdy yet.
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
This is not a great product. It should have steps, it is diffiuclt to climb up to platform and it falls apart when moved onto the grass. I had actually thought of returning it but my grandson would have been disappointed. We would have done better with just a slide.
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
Purchased for my 18 month old son and he loves it.
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
You still need to fully supervise children when playing on this climber. The platform deck inside the climber has a high drop off which can cause injury for little ones.
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
My 14 month old boy loves it! He climbs up the slide, turns around on the platform and then slides back down on his tummy. He also truly loves the door and enjoys putting balls/toys/etc. through the holes on the side portions. The only thing I might change is the size of the platform- it would be nice it if were a bit bigger (he's fallen off a couple of times, even with me sitting right there). Overall, very pleased.
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
My two-year-old is small for her age (32" tall) and she is almost too big for this. She has a lot of fun climbing and sliding, and has recently started bringing her stuffed animals and dolls in for slides.
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
Overall a great buy except that when it rains water gets inside each piece. You have to take the toy apart and drain the water out.
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
It comes apart easily and we are able to bring it inside if its raining and my daughter can still play on it. My daughter loves the slide. She just turned one so she cant climb up the back yet, but she will soon. I do wish they had some type of steps up to the slide instead of just the platform. It is easy to move when it is together also... easy to mow. :)

Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
My daughter really loves the slide and playing with this climber. My only draw back is that there is only one step up and a very small platform. Could be better if there were two steps up to the slide. Other than that it is great.
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
This is a great toy for toddlers. Our one year old granddaughter loves it.
The same can be said for her three and five year old cousins.
This play structure is small enough to be used indoors as well as outside.
My only concern is the steps are narrow and on the side, but she will only get bigger and better at climbing.
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
My daughter loves this climber. I would love to see add-ons or extentions to "build" onto the climber.
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
Great toy for my one year old son. I have no complaints.
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
Our 16-month old is really enjoying the climber in our basement. She learned how to use it safely at home and now also enjoys going to playgrounds more. Wish the shelf was a little wider, but would buy it again.

Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
This is a great toy to have if you have an active little boy like me! I assembled it myself when it came in, and it was very easy. We have it on our back deck and it is perfect for him to go out and climb on to get rid of some energy.
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
I love it [...]i would of liked the door to be a little but taller, but she knows how to duck so it works out anyways. SHE LOVES IT.. i would buy this again and even pay full price ;I love the fact it is small enough to keep inside too

Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
It has been lots of indoor winter fun for both the whole family. I haven't decided whether we will even take it outside. My 18 month old loves to play peek a boo, climb and slide.
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
We bought this as a first birthday gift for our son, something for him to playon inside in the winter and something to play on outside. We don't have a swing set yet, so we went with this product instead. What a great buy! Our son loves it!
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
We have the Kangaroo Climber in our indoor playroom for our boys, ages 2, 3 & 5. Everyone loves this climber! We have had it over a year and our only complaint is how terribly the platform fits into the walls. It comes apart multiple times a day and we are constantly worried when the boys start rough-housing or try to climb on it all at once. It is NOT EASY to slide the platform back into place on all three sides. After a year of play, we are planning to get rid of this climber and find something that is bolted together a little more securely.
All that being said... this would be the PERFECT climbing toy for any child 3 and under. I admit my brood abuses the climber... and they have a blast on it every single day.
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
We got this as a gift for my son's first birthday, we didn't let him play with it for awhile and now he's 23 months and I hate it! The door is too small, my son is always hitting his head on it, the board to get down the slide could be a little bigger..my son has fallen off of it because by the time he gets up and gets around to sit down and go down the slide, he's on the edge about to fall back. It's a good toy for climbers, he does love to climb both sides..we did have it outside for awhile but it has been in our house for the most part. I would not buy it..I would rather have gotten a plain old slide with stairs for him.
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
I purchased for my 22 month old granddaughter to use inside until the weather gets nicer and then move it outside. She enjoys it. It could be a little taller so she doesn't have to duck her head down when going thru the door, but she has learned quickly to duck. The slide is perfect for her age. She can do it all by herself. I do help her when she uses the steps on the side, they are narrow and wouldn't trust that she could use those on her own at this time. Overall, it has helped occupy her with the long winter days.
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
It came quickly, was put up in under 10 minutes by pure novices, and was instantly a hit with the one, two and four year old.
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
Got this for my great grandson's birthday. He is 12 months old. He went for it and has not stopped playing on it. His brother is almost 4 and joined in and they are having the best time with it. IT's inside now until the weather get warmer and they can put it outside. Can't think of anything they like better. Their Mother loves it too. Keeps them busy for long periods of time.
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
My husband and I bought this for our 18 month old son. He loves this climber so much. He enjoys climbing in from the sides, going down the slide and sitting on the platform playing with his cars. This was worth every penny!
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
My 16 month old just loves this! She loves crawling through the tunnels and loves going down the slide. I recommend this to all parents with little ones.
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
One problem, there was one section missing when it arrived, so we had to wait 7 extra days before our granddaughter could play on it.
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
My grandson, 23 mos., is thoroughly enjoying the climber. He loves to climb over it, in the sides, through the door, and up the slide. The climber was a snap to put together and is very sturdy. My grandson loves it and we all love watching him have a great time with it by himself, with friends or just sliding all of his other toys down the slide. Would recommend to anyone with a very active youngster.
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
With 2 very active little grandsons, we wanted a climber for them that was versatile and fun. This one seems to fill the bill very well. They love it.
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
I bought this for my granchildren 18 months and 8 months, they absolutely love playing with it. It is perfect for indoor (if you have the space) or outdoor use. It is easy to assemble.
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
We bought this for our 15 month old for Christmas. She loves going down the slide and crawling through the holes on the bottom. The only thing you have to be careful about is when they are on the green platform...it's not very wide and if you take your eyes off of them for a minute they can fall back. I learned this the hard way. Other than that it's great for little ones to explore with.
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
I gave this to my 1-year-old grandson in TX who loves the slide and doesn't want to stop playing on it. He's safe and feels comfortable on it.
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
So far my toddler has used it inside daily. She loves climbing up and down the slide and sending her balls down the slide. We plan to take it outside as soon as the weather allows!

It was very easy to assemble. We use it indoors for our 16 month old and she loves it. The slide is the perfect height and angle. Our 16 month old is small for her age so we put a step stool in the back area so she could climb onto the platform by herself. The biggest drawback is the side steps. They are too shallow to get a good foothold on when trying to climb up.
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
7 easy pieces took us about 15 minutes to put together! My 22 month old son loves it. It's in our living room for now but will be easy to move to the basement or outside this spring. Definitely worth the money!
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
Our 18 month old twins LOVE climbing, sliding, and hiding inside. They peek out at each other through the side holes and laugh like crazy. The door on the back is also fun to open and close, over and over again. They are just learning to manage sliding by themselves, the slide is the perfect height so they don't get hurt if they take a tumble.

We ordered this as a Christmas present for my 15 month old little girl and she absolutely loves it!!! I had it set up in about 5 minutes, it was so easy. I also take care of my 1 yr old neice during the day and it's a big hit with her as well. It keeps them busy for hours. Let's just say, they take REALLY good naps now!
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
This is a great product for ages 11/2 to 3 years old.
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
This product is alot of fun for my 17 month old. Alot of choices, places to climb up, climb over and climb under. Plus the slide. It is a bit smaller than I anticipated, but my child should get alot of use out of it, but I think he will outgrow by the time he is 2. It is small enough you can use it inside.
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
Assembly and disassembly is so easy, when the weather changes, we move it from outdoors to our family room in no time.
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
I bought this for my 2-year old grandson who hasn't stopped playing with it since it arrived. At first, he enjoyed climbing to the platform to use the sliding board. Now it has become his private little house... he opens the door to enter, then closes the door behind him each time and then hangs out in his little "castle." By the way, it is not little at all... it's a nice enough size to accomodate his 5 and 6 year-old sisters, although we don't let them on it.
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
Perfect for our apartment, gives out 2 yr old hrs of fun inside without leaving the comfort of home..
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
This was a great and inexpensive toy for inside our house (we live in AZ and the summer temps average 110). Our daughter could not get enough of climbing and sliding! We have since donated it to our church nursery where she and many other children and soon our her new baby sister are and will continue to enjoy! Easy to assemble, and safe.
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
I thought this would be a little bit bigger than it was and was surprised by the size. It is great though and we love it! It fits nicely inside (in the play area) and gets used everyday. Even older children that come over to play love it!
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
the grand kids love it - gives mom a break while they play. best love the fact that it is able to be an indoor or an outdoor toy.
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
We love the climber and our little one has enjoyed it for almost a year now. She has mastered climbing up the sides now at almost 2years of age and even loves sneaking away from our puppy. The puppy thoroughly loves playing in the bottom too!
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
I have a very tall 18 month old and he loves the kangaroo climber. He shuts the door and then hang out in the little "house". He slides his toys and himself down the slide. I had a hard time choosing which slide to get but I am so happy I got him this one. It has a little bit of everything. He doesn't use the steps yet, but I think he is too young for those. We have it set up inside for the winter and will put it out when the weather warms up.
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
This was a great purchase for my one year old son. He discovered quickly how to climb through the holes on the bottom and take his basketball and soccer ball with him in the process. He loves to climb up the slide and stand on the top and look out.
We have this in our living room right now so that he can enjoy it for a while with the weather getting colder. It is his favorite new toy.
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
Our twin 2 year olds LOVE this climber! I wish we would have purchased it 6 months ago.
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
My 1 year old LOVES climbing through the doorway. We actually bought ours second hand and it is was soooo simple to put together even though there were no instructions. Fantastic buy!
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
It is sturdy and easy to clean. my granddaughter is a little monkey and loves it. I have recommended this to all my friends and family and plan on buying other products.
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
I gave this to my grandchildren on their second birthday. They loved this climber. At their birthday party the other kids were equally excited about playing on it. I would following the weight requirments listed by the product. It is not for older children. Perfect for the little ones.
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
My son loves to climb this item, but it is CONSTANTLY coming apart. It's supposed to snap together for easy assembly, which is great, but it comes apart just as easy. We are constantly having to reattach a side or the platform. We love having it indoors, but we're thinking of screwing it together.
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
This play house is fantastic! My one year old knew just how to play with it as soon as I got it put together. He loves to open and close the door, climb up on to the platform and go down the slide. He also loves all the holes in the wall to play peek-a-boo through. We have ours in the play room so that he has a way to expend all his energy during inclement weather.
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
I gave this to my grandson for his first birthday and it was a hit with his parents also and that is important. They are keeping it in their den. In fact kids 1-6 years enjoyed this toy. [...]
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
This is a perfect toy for the basement or backyard. Our son loves it, and it's nice to know that it's made in the USA.
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
Love the compact size and light enough to move around the backyard to give the grass a break or finding shade. I am happy with the smaller size for my 20 month old daughter, and can see her using it for several years before needing a bigger size. She loves to send her Little People cars and her stuffed animals down the slide.
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
It will help if archers were a little tall for this climber, my daughter is almost two but she is tall, other than that she loves to play and is fun.

Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
I bought a Kangaroo Climber 8 years ago for my first grandson. He was 18 months old and immediately started climbing up and sliding down the slide and swinging from the arch over the slide. The KC was very sturdy and didn't tilt at all. This KC is still in use with younger siblings. Now my son's first child just had his first birthday and I purchased another Kangaroo Climber for this family of granchildren. At this birthday party, children of all ages enjoyed playing on it. Next year another son will have a child having his first birthday and I will be buying another Kangaroo Climber. My older granchildren have come up with lots of creative uses for the Kangaroo Climber and still enjoy playing on it.

We purchased this, second-hand, on [...] My 13mo old daughter LOVES IT. Keeps her from climbing all over the couch & us. Perfect size for indoors (we live in a townhome). My daughter enjoys it PLUS it looks great in our home. Only caution is the climbing ledge inside the climber. Your child will need assistance learning that they cannot lean back on the ledge. My daughter flipped backwards a couple times. I am sure this is why it is not suggested for a 1 year old.

Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
Apparently the climber we ordered was defective, one wall did not connect properly with one of the side walls and the platform. The box had already been burned by the time my husband got to the assembly of this side of the climber.
Since my grandson is only 15 months old, he's not too heavy to still play on it, although next summer we will have to buy yet another climber since this one is defective.

Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
Our two twenty-two mo. old twins quickly learned to climb all over and in it. With steps on each side and room in the middle, its something they can play on together. It took a little while for them to figure out how to make the slide slicker. However, by pouring a little water from their water table on it they made it into a fun-filled slippery slide.

Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
We love having this in our indoor playroom! We bought it when our son was 15 months - needed to put a stool inside for a few months & really kept an eye on him at first. He's now 21 months - the stool is long gone and he loves to crawl through the peep holes, climb up the outside steps, slide down and race his matchbox cars down the slide. Great, multipurpose toy that doesn't take up too much space. We haven't tried it outside, but it's very sturdy and I'm sure would handle the elements just fine. VERY easy to put together.

Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
We got this for my son's first birthday. For the first couple of months, he enjoyed crawling in and out of the lower holes and opening and closing the door. Now that he is almost 16 months old, he is climbing all over the thing. He climbs up the sides and into the upper holes. He loves going down the slide on his belly. He has gotten pretty creative with the things he does. We keep this inside and he plays with this toy every day. There were about 2 days where we had to stand close-by when he would climb on this toy. He took a couple of tumbles and hit his head on the plastic just below the door. This lasted only a couple of days before he was aware of where the edge of the platform was and we could relax again. I would highly recommend this toy.

Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
My 19 month old LOVES it! The only thing is the arches are awfully short. She doesnt care about it though... and her dad fit through them to show her how to use the slide!! So it is pretty durable. As far as I know, I'm the second owner and the little thing is so tough, I bet it will see two or more new owners! In this day and age I really like that it is made in the USA. Not many things are anymore.
Wooo Hooo!

My 17 month old son absolutely loves this. It was raining when we got this so we set it up in our living room and he crawls all over it. He loves going down the slide on his belly. He is able to do everything except climb the side stairs, but I'm sure that won't take long as he gets a bit bigger and more balanced. The kangaroo climber does a nice job of combining a playhouse and an activity center. Great toy!
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
I bought this toy for my great grandson who just turned two and has just started climbing, going through tunnels etc. He loves it and has covered every square inch of it. I wish I could hook one of his tunnels up to it, but cant. So far, he has had no problems with slipping, falling, etc. seems to be quite safe because of its compact size.
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
This was a gift for my 2yr old grandson and he loves it! Initially he just loved to slide down the slide now he's finding out he can climb the side. Great physical challenge. His parents set this up inside to provide a phsyical activity when the weather is to bad outside.

Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
Our 16 month old twins love this product. The only negative is that the landing is small for two children and they have to climb up. In a couple of months I think it will be great.
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
This product was easy to assemble and is sturdy. My son was very excited when we put it together and immediately began to try to climb up and down the slide. I think that smaller children (my son is 16 months) are too little to use the "outside" step section. It could be improved by having some steps on the inside of the "box." The step from the ground up to the slide platform is too big for a smaller child to make.

Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
I sent the Kangaroo Climber to my daughter in Asheville, N.C. for her very active 15-month old son and she said, "It came at just the right time! He was beginning to climb on everything in sight, and this toy is great for that stage, offering just enough challenge, while still being safe. He can't get enough of it and I'd recommend it to any parent of an active toddler!"
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:

Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
I did a lot of research on climbers before settling on the Kangaroo Climber for my 16mo. old son. I am happy to say I made the right choice. The Kangaroo Climber is just the right size and level for him. It is rated 2+ years but since my son was already going down bigger slides at the park, I wanted to get him a smaller slide/climber for home. He took to it right away and plays with it every day.
My only con or warning to other parents is to be careful when your child is still getting used to climbing up onto the green platform to go down the slide. Several times the first day my son got too close to the back of the platform as he got into the sitting position to go down the slide and toppled backwards off the platform. He quickly learned that he has to be careful and hasn't fallen since, but I wish I had been prepared for that. (I was in front ready to help him down slide. It would have been better to be on the side or in back.)
Other than that, it is extremely sturdy and was a breeze to put together without any tools. It does take a little muscle/weight to make sure the pieces completely lock together, but it is the easiest toy I have put together to date. I even wouldn't hesitate to disassemble it to take over to his grandparents house for the day; it is that easy to put together.
I like its size and how low to the ground it is, as well. We have it in his 12' x 12' bedroom right now and it doesn't take up too much room. It's light enough to push to one side, too. I looked at other, taller climbers but didn't want something that he could fall that far from. We have the Kangaroo Climber set up on a large interlocking foam mat and it is low enough that even if he did slip and fall off one of the climbing sides, he wouldn't get hurt.
Given its smaller size, the slide is shorter than other climbers. He's enjoying it right now, but I think he'll outgrow it by the time he is 3yrs. old, just based on it's size.
One other little tip: I have the Step 2 Soft Blocks and to keep things interesting, I stack a tower of blocks at the bottom of the slide while my son climbs into position. He loves sliding down and crashing into the tower!

We have the climber set up in our playroom. It was a Christmas gift for our 1 year old grandson. It is perfect for his age, he enjoys going in and out the door and he can climb up the slide then come back down on his own. He can't get enough.
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
My grandson loves it and plays with it constantly!
Highly recommended
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
I have a 14 mo. old. He is already very adventurous...this only adds to his fun. The green platform can be a little dangerous if they are not careful, but a fall or two will teach'em. I have placed foam pads under the whole thing for added safety. I researched a lot to find it and it is exactly as I read online. Good price...especially since it was a gift :o). Rec'd it kangaroo fast!!!
He loves to go up the slide

Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
Simple assembly steps, but can be hard to get the pieces to full snap together tight. Once it's up though, it's a great toy for small children. In fact, you'll have a hard time keeping the "big" brothers and sisters off of it!
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
I bought it as a Christmas present for my one year old Granddaughter who loves to climb. It's indoors right now, keeping her busy and will be a great toy this summer outside.
Just wish there were add on pieces to expand it later on as she grows.

Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
My son in 16 mos. and prefers to be outside. He likes to go to the park and play on the swing set. I can't take him outside during the winter and I felt like he was too bored inside. I bought this to bring the outdoor playtime inside to him. He loves it and it his perfect for his level and age.
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:

Wow! I have this set up indoors in the playroom, and my 22 month old triplets have a great time climbing and sliding! Was easy to assemble, and they love it! There isn't anything negative I can find about it, and would definitely recommend!
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
I put this climber in my 14 month old's play room and it's great! When she has friends over they can all play on it. The only (minor) down side is that the platform kids have to climb onto to access the slide is a little high for my daughter to manage on her her own. In a couple of months though, she'll use it like a pro! The assembly could not have been easier. I didn't even need any tools!
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
i have twins and they love to play w/ the door and the slide. i wish that the side steps were a little wider, to assist w/ climbing. but the product is great.
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
I have 2 yr old twins that love the slide. I got it for them when they were 16 month and have not stop playing with it. It help them learn many things like go down a slide or climb in a safe enviroment. They love it so much we got the bigger version of it.

Using this product for my 1 year old in the playroom. He may be a little too young to figure it out and climb up on the platform, but he is having fun with the slide and climbing through the holes.

My nephew loved the climber. It was just right for a 2 year old! The additional things like the door and wall climber made it even more fun!

This is just what I was looking for. I have a grandson who loves to climb. He plays with this toy for hours. He is 1 year old and it has been great for him developmentally climbing up, down, over and under.
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
My grandson's b-day is this week-end. I can hardly wait to see his expression when the 3 Step2 products are unwrapped.
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
I bought this for my son's 1st birthday. He and his 5 yr. old brother play on it everyday. We bought it because we wanted to keep it in the living room for days that are too cold, too hot, or too wet. They LOVE playing on it. They make tents out of a blanket thrown over the top, they slide, they climb, crawl and jump all over this toy, and it is still in brand new condition. The size is small but perfect for indoors and for a one year old. When they want to play, they drag it to the middle of the room and when they are through, they push it back to the corner. My 5 yr. old can do this by himself. This toy is attractive, durable, and fun. I put it together myself in less than 20 minutes. Worth every penny!!!!!
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
I have this indoors. My girls love it. 22 months & 16 months. Just have to keep an eye on them, they fall inside the shelf area. Would love it if it had attachments to add, tent top or tunnel.
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
My daughter loves her climber and plays with on it everyday. We bring it in when the weather is bad, but it is normally outdoors. This climber is great for toddlers since its not very big and its very sturdy. The platform holds two toddlers weighing at 22 pounds each very well. The colors are great and blend well with the outdoors which is one reason why I love the step 2 products. The climber is easy to disassemble to move around inside or out. The only con is that when it rains water traps inside and is hard to get out, but that con is minimal to its wonderful uses.
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
We bought this for my son's first birthday and he really likes it. He is big for his age so I am not sure how long he will be able to use it safely. He barely fits through the holes now. It is great for little kids but they may outgrow it quickly.

Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
MY KIDS ARE LITTLE PEANUTS, VERY SMALL IN STATUE AND THEY ARE KIND OF FINDING THIS ITEM TOO SMALL. BUT IT IS GREAT FOR THE WINDOW THAT THEY ARE THIS SIZE THOUGH, SO IT IS A TOSS UP TO INVEST IN SOMETHING THAT FACILITATES THEIR MOVEMENT AT THAT MOMENT IN THEIR DEVELOPMENT, OR GET SOMETHING BIGGER BUT MIGHT FRUSTRATE THEM. FOR ME IT IS WORTH IT FOR THE COUPLE OF MONTHS THEY CAN REALLY FEEL SUCCESSFUL AT THEIR PLAY.
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
my 1-1/2 yr old son loves going down the slide, in one cubby hole and out the other, opening & closing the little door...he's definitely maximizing its use!!

Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
my boy is only one and a half, and already has about outgrown this toy. for the price of it its not worth it. to have two children on it is not safe, there is not room
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
I like it because it can stay inside during those cold winter months in Ontario, Canada. It's also not so big that it can remain in my child's room.
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
Good starter physical activity toy that can also be used in the house in the winter times.
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
This has by far been the best physical activity toy purchase we've made for our daughter. She got this for her 1st birthday. She was walking at 9 months and climbing soon after, so we need something she could safely climb on that we could have in the house. This helped her further develop her balance and coordination skills, and confidence in her abilities. I attribute the Kangaroo Climber to her mastering the ability to climb out of her crib at 14 months! She loves to sit and read in it, use it as a "fort" with a blanket thrown over the top, watch her balls and blocks roll down the slide, play hide and seek...just so many great things to do! The color scheme is one of the best out there and blends in with the living room which is were we have ours. It's small enough to keep indoors and SO easy to store and transport. I am very, very, very happy this climber!
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
This has been set up in our living room since out son could walk. He loves to climb up the sides and slide down. The colors blend in nicely with out decor. I have a lot of pictures of him playing on it!

This was a gift for my youngest son's 1st birthday. We have it in our family room and the colors really blend in nicely. My 1 year old and 4 year old are always on this and there is plenty of room for them both to play. We love it.
Comments about Step2 Naturally Playful Kangaroo Climber:
My grandson loved his new climbing toy so I got another one for my other grandson. They both love the challenge of getting on the platform and then sliding down. Our winters are long and the children entertained themselves with their kangaroo climber and at the same time develope their motor skills.
