I purchased this for my 1 year old son as a christmas gift. I love this Treehouse, not only is it offerable but it is so easy to assemble. I did it myself in less than an hour, and that's with my son wanting to play with it. The only thing I see wrong with it is that my son might not fit (height wise) in it by next christmas, since he is as tall as a 2 year old. I ordered this for my granddaughters, ages 1 1/2 and 2 1/2. I find that it is a little short for my 2 1/2 yr old granddaughter (and the doctors say she is small for her age). She can't stand up and since the top doesn't attach real securely she pushes it off. She loves the scope. I do wish the holes had been drilled for the screws to hold the top on. I'm a 60 yr old grandma and it wasn't easy for me to push the screws in to get them started. Might be easier if you have a drill. Overall, they love it. I put it outside but will move it inside with the two cottages I bought so it will be cooler. The slide just gets too hot in the hot Florida sun.

Super easy to "snap" together. Great first slide for my 20 month old. Started in the house but now that the weather is warmer it is in the backyard. Overall my daughter loves this product. There are two cons though. One, the lookout house if very short and my daughter needs to duck when she is in it. Second, the steps are very close together and she has a hard time climbing up them. Otherwise, this is a great product.

I purchased this for my daughter's first birthday and she just loves it. The ladder is very easy for her to climb up. She really enjoys standing on the platform. So far she has had a blast on it. My daughter is 16 months old and just got this for Christmas. She loves it and it helped her to quickly learn to climb and slide on her own, which is helping her to become more adventurous on other play equipment as well. I like that the tower is fully secure on all sides so she can't fall off. I do wish the stairs were a little wider, but she seems to manage them just fine.

This product is wonderful and we are highly happy we purchased it for our sons who are three and one and a half. The slide is safe and enjoyable, as is the working periscope. They will love to play "spy" in it soon enough and like to store their letter puzzle pieces on the platform. The only downside is we wish the platform was wider so that both of our boys could be up there at the same time together. We know they would love that and it would help them on their "spy" missions. We bought this for our daughter for her first birthday. She LOVES it! It was by far her favorite gift. She had never been on a slide before, and her first time down brought smiles & giggles! Very easy assembly!! My 18 month old loves her slide and the stairs are just as much fun! The ability to go up and down at this age is such an accomplishment! I have this indoors for my 16 month old and she became adept at the ladder and various ways of sliding within 2 days. She enjoys sliding herself, blocks and toys. She also likes sitting on the end of the slide and playing with other things. This is a no-regrets purchase thus far. It's also the perfect size. I have it in a bedroom that I use for miscellany and it doesn't take up a lot of room - in fact, if I had a twin bed in there, it would be just fine.

I bought this slide for my 1 year old twin boys because the winter has come and it is difficult for me to get both of them out to play outside. I researched and reviewed almost every slide available out there except for huge outdoor slides. This slide is so far great. The boys love it and love it. Even though I found only a few reviews,I ended up choosing this product because;
1. the platform after kids climb up the stairs is large enough to accomodate two little guys. (believe me, my twins are pretty big for their age) They like to play each other on the platform
and look inside a periscope attached. It's a bit crowded with two kids but kids don't care.
2. The length of slide is just enough to enjoy and it has a slight curve, too. I found a lot of slides are either too short or straight. I like a curved slide personally, but most curved slides were big or long. It also has good side rails babies can grab on to.
3. I thought my kids would love to crawl and play underneath the treehouse. yes, they like to go in there and chase each other.

I was worried that if it's too big for our small town house but when it was assembled, I was surprised how compact it was. I've not found anything not so great yet. I'm very happy for this product.

This is a great product. It took maybe 5 minutes to put together, very easy. My 18 month old son loves it. I do wish that it was a little bit taller with the roof on. My son is average height and his head hits the ceiling if he tries to stand up. He loves it and that's all that matters.

I bought this treehouse, thinking "Oh, boy, another thing to put together". Was pleasantly surprised to find assembly very easy for this arthritic grandma. Directions are very clear. My 18 month old daughter loves the treehouse. It is very easy for her to climb both the stairs and slide. The slide is perfect she loves going up and coming down on her bottom and belly. My daughter loves this item...she loves to play peek-a-boo and the slide is the perfect length for her...not too long and not too short. Our 15-month old son loves going in the backyard, but there was really nothing for him to play with (not into throwing balls yet), so we purchased this tree house for him. It took a little bit of time to put together, but was easy. He loves climbing up the little ladder and standing in the tree house portion and looking out the perescope (which actually works). He is still working on becoming brave enough to do the slide on his own (though he likes climbing up it). It is nice that it is low enough to the ground that I don't have to stand right behind him and spot him as he is climbing. And, it is light enough to move when you are mowing the lawn. My daughter really enjoys playing on the treehouse. I like that it has a platform for her to stand on before she slides down, this makes me less afraid that she will fall off unlike other slides I have seen. My only complaint is that my 18 month old will be too tall for this product too quickly, the height inside the platform should be at least 6 inches taller.

Our 17 month old loved it instantly. He is now 18 months and climbs the ladder like a pro, slides down on his stomach and knows how to use the periscope. Step 2 continues to produce great kid's toys. I wish this item was taller in the standing area and wish the slide was slightly longer. I think he will outgrow it faster than we would all like. This is pretty good for little ones (and big ones think it's good for them, as well!). The neighborhood kids are drawn in like honey. The periscope is endlessly fascinating. I will say this: If you live in a windy place you might want to rethink this. It gets gusty sometimes here in South Jersey but the wind takes this down the street. We bought this product for our 20 month old that loves to climb, but we didn't have anything for him to do so safely for the winter (indoors). Santa brought this for my 18 month old daughter who LOVES to climb and slide! It was easily assembled in about a half hour and was a HUGE hit Christmas morning! It is for indoor use only as we live in a condo but fits nicely in our living-room/play-room without taking up too much space. This is great. We use it indoors in our play area which is what I purchased it for. I wanted my toddler to be able to climb on something that was safe and sturdy. Easy to put together. Perfect size for living room. A great thing to have on bad weather days too.

My 21 month old liked it. I loved the fact that its easy to assemble and weather resistant. Looks great. The slide is a bit small I hope we can still use it next year. The good thing is it's small enough to move indoors and use during the winter months.

My twin 3 year old girls have played non-stop! Morning and night they ask to go in the backyard to play on the slide. They use their imagination playing w/ the periscope too, creating all sorts of adventures. It is sturdy and I feel comfortable with them climbing all over it. The roof also provides some shade from the sun as well! Great product and good investment for our backyard.

The only problem with the treehouse is that the laddder is steep, which makes it hard for an infant to climb.

We bought this for my son's first birthday. Within a week he had figured out how to climb the ladder, and loves going down the slide. He also loves trying to climb up the slide. It is very easy to put together. I did it while he was taking a nap. This was a great purchase.

We bought the Lookout Treehouse for our son's 1st birthday. He's a little small for it yet, but loves to play on it with our help. In fact, he learned to climb the stairs on it just the other day!! For the price, you can't beat the quality! It took my husband and I literally just a couple of minutes to put it together. The parts just snap together! Who could ask for anything easier!! I also noticed that the Treehouse doesn't hold in heat from the sun. We also have the Naturally Playful sandbox, which tends to get very hot after sitting in the sun all day. I highly recommend this Treehouse!!!

In the desert Southwest the green slide gets extremely hot during the high sun. Perhaps a lighter color for the slide would help in this climate.

Love the ease of use for a 1 1/2 year old. Great repetitive activity-or add for circuit play with other playground toys. Durable plastic construction is wonderful and set up was very, very quick.

Out of all the toys that I have put together for my 19 month old son, this was the easiest! My son couldn't wait for it to be put together, which took me no more than 20mins (would have taken less time if my son wasn't "helping").

This is the perfect size for a toddler, no worries here about pinched fingers, splinters or spills. Because of this product, my husband and I went out to get our son another Step2 toy...
