This is a great product for my 3yr old son!! He loves to play and pretend in it for hours. My son is extremly active and very much the "bouncin baby boy", so it's nice to have down time when he enjoys this toy. Also, it's great to have a "kitchen" with nice colors (red, black, blue & white) for a boy to play and pretend in. My husband is the primary cook in our home, so naturally, my son wants to emmulate that. I'm glad that Step 2 has several kitchens to choose from with gender neutral colors. Boys love to pretend and cook too! :o)
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
I bought this diner for my grandson for his first birthday and he loves it. The play food is rubbery and not hard plastic for safety. They live in a small apt so the combo kitchen/bench is perfect for the space. Buy it, you'll love it!!!
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
This is the cutest kitchen I have ever seen- my 2yr old little boy LOVES it! You definitely need a drill to put this together, and the decals took as long as the assembly- time consuming but very simple!
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
Great for our son he loves it.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
I purchased this product for my son and he absolutely loves it! His favorite thing about it is the Jukebox. He loves to play the music and dance around while setting his stuffed animals up in the booth. He also loves to set the coffee pot on the burner, listen to the bubbling noise and watch the lights flash as the coffee is "brewing." Great learning experience to teach him prepostional words, sequencing, colors, counting, manners, etc.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
Every morning my son brings me a cup of coffee from this Diner. All of my kids enjoy playing with it. My 2 year old and 4 year old actually eat their breakfast in the booth. The jukebox is cute and the music is not nearly as grating as some of their other toys. I love the fact that there are just enough accessories, but not so many that we can't keep track. This is a winner in a house where the boys outnumber the girls, but they all enjoy interactive imaginative play.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
Never ordered anything online, was hesitant. [...]My Grandaughter loves it...takes a little effort to assemble, but anything worth having is worth a little time. Cute, sturdy, just right...Thanks...I would recommend this!
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
granddaughter uses her immagination with the diner. it's very sturdy and realistic and practical too!!
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
The 50's Diner was well worth every penny. All of the accessories have so much detail and I even let my children eat snacks and lunch on the side with the table and seats. Great product...We love it!

My 2 and 4 year old granddaughters love playing diner. One sits as the customer and the other is the cook.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
this was the easyest one i've ever done had differant type with my 12 yr old . but my now 4yr old twins love it, santa bought it for them ;and the box didnt have the build sheet, i did it by looking at the pix on the box it was fun!
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
Although a little cumbersome to put together, my children LOVE this diner. I have a 4 year old with special needs and a 2 year old. They take turns "cooking" and "eating" and have so much fun playing in it. The seats in the "booth" are sturdy. The jukebox is a little loud and the service bell is very quiet. We also own one of the Step 2 kitchens which they love as well. Great product. I will buy from Step 2 again.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
I purchased this diner for my 2 year old son who loves to cook. It's a big hit with him and my nieces and nephews. The only con I could really mention is that the bell isn't very loud, but I don't think that's a problem.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
Very cute! I bought this for my daycare kids to play with at my house. It went together very easy and didn't take to much time. It has great features that make it very fun for the kids to play with. They love the pass thru window and the booth seats. Also the coffee pot that makes a great bubbling sound. The only bad thing is that the arch for the window seems a little flimsy. We will be adding screws to it for additional support.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
Great for 2 little girls. One could cook and one could dine.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
My daughter loves the diner! she likes for me to sit down with her and have tea and hot dogs :-) and yes, i do fit on the little bench (and I'm 130 lbs) so it's VERY durable. i love to play with my little girl and the diner is a perfect pretend play toy for both of us :-)
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
I don't know who loves it more - the Grandma or the Grandchildren! I am "so into retro" and think it is just perfect. AND I didn't even hear one complaint out of Grandpa when he assembled it. The burner and the jukebox are just adorable.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
GREAT product! My 5 yr old son and daughter both love playing with it and eating their own real meals and snacks in the diner booth! It's solid, durable, reasonable to assemble and the interactive components work GREAT (grilling sounds, coffee purculating sounds and Juke box(!). The diner is very attractive, comes with plenty of food and plenty of fodder for imaginative play. The only con is the "order up" bell is barley audible. It appeals to boys and girls from toddlers on up (moms too!)! Thank you for a great product!
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
It is good for multiples because everyone has something to do, either cook or sit and eat!
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
My 2yo loves to play with the Diner. She is able to have quiet play time and imaginative play time with the diner. I only wish the stickers that came with the diner were the same as the picture on the order.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
My daughter truly loves this product. She enjoys pretending as though she's serving everyone. I am more than happy that I purchased this product for her for Christmas. I would recommend this product to anyone that has a little girl. They'll have so much fun.

Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
So far both my 3.5 yr boy and 1 year girl love it. We wanted to get something that was kitchen oriented but a little different from what my son plays with at preschool. The realistic burner that sizzles burgers or bubbles coffee is a hit with the kids as is the bell.
One thing to note, it is a big piece and because the seats are on the back, you need to pull it away from a wall to play with it. If you are limited on space, you may want to consider these dimensions carefully.
My only change would be to include a few additional pots and have the jukebox play more than three short songs as the kids love to listen to the music.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
This product is very durable. My 2 and 4 yr old have found something they don't fight over. They play really good with this product.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
My 2 year old daughter LOVES this diner. She twists to the jukebox and cooks in the kitchen. She even uses the booth to sit in and watch videos and put puzzles together. It is really like having two toys in one!
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
Box had no directions and the knobs for the cabinets were not included. It looks half put together. It was very upsetting make the product look cheap.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
This is used by my 19 month old grandson & 28 month old granddaughter. The seats are barely big enough for them. They have to wedge themselves into the seats. The ketchup and mustard containers will fit inside the coffee pot, but you have to almost break the coffee pot to get them out. Just things I've noticed as the kids have only played with it once.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
Our 2.5 year old son loves this. He doesn't play with it on his own, but does every time he has "customers" to serve. Really cute and imaginative!
Some of the stickers don't match what is shown on the box (e.g. songs for the jukebox), but otherwise, it's great.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
My daughter wanted this for her son since he loves kitchens!
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
The kids really love it. It is a very cute toy and comes with a lot of play food. The bell is not loud enough. I called Step 2 and they quickly sent me another one. Very happy I purchased this diner. Worth every penny.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
We wanted to get our son a kitchen, but we thought the diner would be a great toy that had the kitchen and also the booth which is great for group play. Right now there is a lot of "food" and utensils all over the place, but he is enjoying how to play "make believe!"
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
The 50's diner is perfect. My grandson loves it!
He enjoys his breakfast and lunch while sitting listening to the juke box with his friend.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
I searched everywhere for a kitchen for my 16 month old son for Christmas. I found this and loved the design and colors. He has played with it every day and absolutely loves it. His favorite part of the diner is the jukebox, which he dances along to. My husband said that there were alot of screws and it took awhile to put together, but other than that it is wonderful. Even my 7 year old son has played with it. I would recommend this to anyone for a boy or girl. It is well worth the price.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
We ordered this item for Christmas and it arrived shortly before so we had enough time to set it up the night before. Christmas morning, we came downstairs and her face lit up like the Christmas tree she was so excited! My 8 year old nephew played with it for the first 2 hours then let her have a turn. It was worth the wait and will def order from the site again.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
My daughter was so happy christmas morming and loves it. [...]
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
My 2yr old Emily loves playing with her new diner, my 5yr old son loves getting up early in the morning and playing with it before she gets up. My husband owns a local diner and he loves pretending to be his Dad. I never thought about my son playing with it so I am glad to be getting my moneys' worth. It was missing a few pieces but Step 2 always takes care of anything the missing so I am giving this item 5 stars.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
My 18 month old loves it. Its really helping with her imagination! Would highly recommend this kitchen. I think it was a great purchase for the price and the amount of accesories.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
We've only had our diner put together for a couple of days, but our two and a half year-old absolutely loves it! She's infatuated with the ice cream and won't set it down (she's napping with it right now!). We also have a 5-month-old so we can't wait for the 2 of them to play this together. It will be a perfect joint toy for years to come. It took my husband about an hour and a half to assemble, but after it was done, he commented on how great a toy this is going to be. I tried to get him excited about this when I picked it out for the girls for a Christmas present, but he said he had to see it tangibly. The food and accessories are great, the multiple noises are realistic, and it seems to be very sturdy and durable. We are thrilled with our diner!
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
My grand children, ages 2 & 3 love it! On Christmas Day they played with it for hours. When I bought it, I had no idea they would enjoy it so much. The fact that the frying pan sizzles & the coffee pot has lights & sounds like it is perking, is an added feature. They even danced to the juke box music. The only improvement I would suggest, is make the service bell ring louder and make it a little easier to assemble.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
My 19 month old grandson is crazy about playing in our kitchen, so I knew this would be the right toy for him. He absolutely loves pretending to eat and cook. He sits down at the table and enjoys using the many utensils and food items included. The jukebox is his favorite. He dances to the music and pretends to prepare food for all of us. It is the perfect size for him and a toy that will continue to bring him joy for the next few years. I love that the table and seats are included. It seems like just the right amount of extras also, without going over the top. It was well worth every penny.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
Good investment for several children to play together with at one time.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
Largely a great product . Coffee sounds and frypan are cool. Also enjoyed accessory kit as part of package. Great job guys. May need a little stronger table as my 1 yr old daughter climbs over the diner regularly.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
some shelves in the fridge, sink deeper so pans will fit in
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
I got the 50's diner for my kids for Christmas, 3 years and 10 months. They love it. My husband is a soldier and is currently deployed so I had to put it together. Did it by hand, not to bad, considering I'm 8 months pregnant. Would have been quicker had I used a power drill. All in all the kids love it.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
Very easy to use. Allows for creativity and learning. Our almost three year old grandson uses it with a cash register and is learning about money as well as how to run a business. He loves the burner noises as well as the music. What a great learning toy!
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
Several children can play together at one time.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
This product is awesome!!! I bought this for my 1 yr old even though it's for slightly older children and she LOVES it. The installation is a piece of cake and comes with a wide variety of adorable kitchen pieces. The jukebox, stove burner, and food bell work really well. She fits in the booth perfectly and we love the storage areas of the fridge, oven, and shelves with baskets! We just assembled this item and I am so pleased with it! [...]
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
This was the perfect diner "kitchen" product for my 2 young grandsons. The seats on the other side of the diner make good use of the space. My older grandson "fixes" his food and serves it in the diner seats. The jukebox is loud... but removeable.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
This is so cute, and I love that it's two-sided because it allows more children to play. It's a really great deal for the price!
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
Our two year old grandsons love playing with
the 50's Diner. They love the different sounds
and enjoy making coffee, ice cream and sandwiches.I'm planning on buying more of your
step 2 products.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
I could not get the burner screw detached from the base because one of the screws was stripped. Hopefully I can get a replacement. Everthing else was great, the diner, [...], and the instructions.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
The booth with 2 seats on the back side is the best part; my grandson could sit to color books or play on the table portion; the decals and red, white, black decor look almost like Nascar racing emblems and made it perfect for my grandson in Col. Springs; I hope to buy this for my new grandchild in PA. This is a multi-purpose product and was worth the cost.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
Great Product! My Grandkids love pretending to cook...Wish it had an apron but I got one elsewhere!
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
My twins love this and had lots of fun with cousins playing also. My only complaint is the BELL can hardly be heard. No this may be a plus to some parents...I was disappointed. You can't hear it over the kids playing or the music from the juke box.

my daughter just adores this diner. Once she opened it at her birthday party, that was it. She carries an ice cream cone, or a utensil around the house. Every morning she takes my hand and leads me to her play area where she serves me pizza, french fries and coffee for breakfast. My daughter loves to hear and watch the coffee pot "brew". jujari

My Granddaughter has enjoyed this much more than the regular kitchen. She loves the Jukebox. Her friends play for hours with this kitchen. Even her Grandfather loves it.. If you really want something different BUY THIS ONE. Everyone thinks it is adorable. Her Mom & I give it 100 Stars..
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
My 18-mo old grandson plays with his Diner every day and just loves it. Great Pretend Play, he "cooks" meals and serves them to his Elmo doll in the little booth and eats real snacks there as well. The mobile Rock N Roll music feature is a big plus........he loves it. We put the plastic knives & forks away until he gets a bit older, for safety reasons. A drain plug in the sink would have been nice.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
Mia loves it and so does her daddy. He likes the music that it plays.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
My grandsons were actively engaged in "helping" us assemble the diner...and could hardly wait to order a meal or dessert. It was never unoccupied at the birthday party and has been played with each day since then.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
Love all the food, dishes, and utensils. Would like the bell to be a little louder. Would also like sounds for fryer, sink, and have the coffee pot look like there is coffee in it.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
Having two people to assemble the product would be helpful since the screw holes are not fully drilled.

My daughter plays with this every day and never gets tired of it. In the future, I look forward to seeing her sharing meals w/her friends at the diner.

We were looking for a gender neutral kitchen set for my son and my nephew. They love to play in my kitchen, and now they have their own. We love ALL the pieces it came with, the boys love to cook up lunch and run to the other side to sit and eat! They dance to the juke box and play for hours...with two three-year old boys, it's wonderful! It's very durable given my boys climbing and jumping off it, it's really held up!!
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
I didn't realize how busy this would keep our active 1 1/2 year old grandson! He plays with it for hours and hours. It's his favorite toy at Grandma & Grandpa's house! He loves to eat his meals and snacks at the diner. He also dances to the music with Grandma!
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
WE have an entire 50's-60's basement so the Diner is perfect for our Grand daughter Sofia to play with. She loves it and so do we.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
My 21 month old twin boys love to play with the diner. There are plenty of accessories for both of them to share. The only problem we have had is the oven door will not stay closed. It was not because of the product, but because one of my boys stood on it and then it would not stay closed. It was easily fixed by putting some felt thick enough to hold it shut but they can still open it up.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
I was looking for a product with the attributes of and creativity offered by a play kitchen for my daughter but I wanted something unique... The classic concept with a new twist. I could not have hoped for better! The product design is adorable and truly one of a kind. It is perfect for group play, inspiring creativity in solo play, and is great for parent-child quality playtime as well. Easy to assemble, easy to clean, and durable... I have and will continue to highly recommend it to any parent looking for the perfect role-playing/imaginative play product their child will love and enjoy again and again! It has become the hit of our neighborhood for children and adults alike!

My 2 year old daughter got this for her birthday. My daughter and 5 year old son played with the diner for hours. They play it almost every day. This was a great buy!
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
This was a wonderful find for my little boy. I purchased this for him for his 3rd birthday. I loves it, he calls it his "race car kitchen" which is great. It was easy to assemble except for the fact that the holes were not pre-drilled. I would recommend this to a friend.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
I love the product but the assembly was kind of a pain since there were no holes to put screws in. Otherwise it is a great product and my daughter loves it!
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
Ok, so Dad wondered if this diner was really more for Mom or for our little guy? Love that our 1 1/2 year old boy plays with this every day since we got it 2 months ago. Sometimes, he sits in the booth & eats his snacks. Other times, he's the chef. I wish that there were more healthy play food options rather mainly junk food. Other downside is that it's plastic, but we plan to make sure that it is re-used & recycled. His playmates seem to really dig this cool, little retro style Diner, too!
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
I bought this for my youngest daughter's 2nd birthday. She loves to "make coffee" and play with all the food. My 2 older children (6 and 3) also love playing with it. They all like to sit in the booth and play with the jukebox. I can see years of fun coming with this toy.
It took about an hour for 2 adults to assemble. Directions were fairly easy to follow. Over all I was very pleased with this purchase. It was smaller than I thought it would be - perfect size for my 2 and 3 yr olds. It is somwhat small for my 6 yr old, so I might consider another option of buying for an over 4 yr old.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
I sent this to my grandson for his 4th birthday...he absolutely loves this and his 5year old sister and 8 year old brother love it, as well. Money well spent! Very sturdy and alot of bells and whistles!

My 2 year old son LOVES it, as well as all his cousins we watch. Both boys and the girls, they're aged 1-6.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
I bought this for our 3 yr. old twin grandkids, boy and girl, as I babysit them every day and these long winter months can be quite boring. I am not disappointed with this diner at all. The kids both enjoy serving up burgers and fries and I can't tell you how many cups of coffee (pretend) and ice cream cones I've had ! They love dancing to the music and just having fun pretending. I put it together by myself (I'm a 55 yr. old female) without any major problems, so I'm sure anyone can. Very sturdy and well made. I reviewed many different kitchens and such...I'm glad I chose this ! I also purchased the step2 work bench and am very pleased with that. I am a big fan of step2 !
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
My 20 month old son LOVES this kitchen. We had looked at several kitchens and when we read the review for this kitchen we decided that even though it was a little more than we had expected to spend, this was the one. We couldn't be happier with it. It arrived just after our son had his tonsiles out and tubes put into his ears. He was so sore but as soon as I got it out of the box he was over trying to play with it. He hasn't let a day go by since then that he hasn't played with this kitchen for at least an hour or two. The assembly was not too dificult. I assembled it by myself in about an hour or so (did not use a power drill, just a hand screwdriver). I would recommend this kitchen to everyone with a child!!!
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
It wasn't easy talking my husband into buying this for our 3 boys (4, 2, & 11 mths). He thinks kitchen sets are for girls. But they love to play like they are taking our orders and cooking, so this was perfect. The colors look great in the playroom, nothing "girly". It is so cute and durable, not even my boys can tear this one up. That alone says alot! The oldest does the cooking, and the 2 younger boys love to sit in the booth. I love it, and they love it. I'm so glad we bought it! (told you so honey!)
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
My son is 2 and a half ,I thought he would really love this product but after a few weeks he lost interest. He really loves trucks !! This product is made excellent and the seating is perfect for a 2 or 3 yr old. I really love it but just make sure this would be something your child would really enjoy

I bought the 50's diner for my 3 year old grandson, and he loves it. He can spend hours making believe. It is great for boys or girls.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
Our granddaughter has only been here 4-5 times to play with it so far, and she absolutely loves it! She loves to cook for you and give you ice cream and burgers, etc., and share "your" food. :) Baby brother (grandson) sits at the booth and thinks he's really big, playing this with his big sister! She loves all the sounds; more would be nice. A GREAT toy for little girls (and their little brothers or sisters) that develops their imagination and which you can ALL play with together.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
I bought this little kitchen as a gift for my two year old daughter. She loves it but she puts her older brother who is four to cook because she just likes to sit in the chair and order my kid around
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
This diner is perfect for just about any age group! My child is almost 3 and really enjoys serving food to mommy and I.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
We bought this based on the positive reviews we read on it and the fact that it had two sides to play with - since we have twin boys (23 mo) finding toys they can easily share is great. We've had it for about 3 weeks now and the boys play with it everyday. We have it in the kitchen so it is like they have their own little kitchen to cook while we are cooking. They really like the coffee pot and the ice cream pieces, especially (the rest of the food that comes with it is great, too). They even sit at it to eat some of their snacks/meals. One thing to note is they do like to stand on top of the table top - it can handle one at a time as long even if they bounce/jump on it (of course, you have to keep an eye on them and make sure the table is stable)...anyway, just something to watch out for. Even with that, we love this diner and the boys have a lot of fun with the little jute box. They carry it around playing the music and dancing. We are really glad we got this.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
My boys ages 4, and 20 months absolutely love this toy. I did not want to buy a kitchen for them since that felt a little too girlie for them. This is better than adequate substitute. They play for hours with all the parts - and we often find food all over the house. i love how many accessories come with this - just the right amount to be stored within the diner without it feeling crowded. I am sure if you had a girl she would love it too - but i know for a fact that your little guys will adore it.

The product was intended for my boy/girl 12 month old twins, but it is really enjoyed by my 5 yr old son and 7 yr old daughter as well as any of their friends that come in.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
Bought this for my daughter for her 2nd birthday. She has played with it non-stop since she got it.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
Our grandsons love their Diner. Fun to eat breakfast and snack at the booth after they take each other's orders.
Grandpa wears his Elvis mask and joins in the fun!
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
Great Kitchen. My wife has her friends with kids come over and they all enjoy playing with it. Jukebox, coffee bubbling and pan frying noise are realistic. The "order up" bell could be louder. Overall a great kitchen and am extremely happy with it. Our 21month old loves it. It has been a lifesaver while we have had to stay inside during the long Chicago winter.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
After we finally got it together...(no pre drilled holes)our son absolutely loved it! Some of the accessories looked as if there was yellow highlighter all over them...but my son didn't mind that his ice cream had a little extra color. My preschool kids have a ton of fun playing together with it. They all take turns being the chef. Over all it was a good buy and I would recommend.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
works great if you have more than one child in the house
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
This was given to my son for his 2nd birthday. He liked the diner so much he actually played with it and not the box! Sharing isn't one of his strong qualities yet, but he let his cousins play with him and wants his 5 month old brother to sit in the booth all of the time. Definitely worth the money!
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
We researched and researched kitchen sets until we found the 50's Diner. After reading the description, we knew this was the one for our 18 month old. He just loves it. It's the first thing he plays with in the morning and continues to play all day. We have had friends over to play and it has been a hit with everyone.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
They love the burner that makes noise when you put the pan on it.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
This diner is awesome! My son loves to sit on the chairs and have a snack, he also loves the juke box music!
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
My 20 month old son loves to ring the bell, play with the coffee pot, and the juke box. He likes to "eat" the accessories. For the most part, it is a really cute product that he loves, but the bad thing is the oven door won't stay shut. I have not contacted Step 2 yet(because they are only open Mon-Fri). Hopefully they will be good about customer satisfaction!
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
2 yr. old continues to play with it and really likes the realistic boiling sound of the coffee pot.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
This is great for boys and girls, my only disapointment was the bell was very soft and the stovetop sizzle did not work. Although the kids love it,
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
My son (18 months) loves this kitchen. There's so many items and features that come with it, I can see his imagination run wild as he role plays.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
Love it!
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
My kids love this and I love it too! My 1.5 year old daughter likes to play with the food, and my 3 year old son likes to pretend cook. They both enjoy making coffee and sitting at the table. My son loves the jukebox. I would highly recommend buying this for young kids.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
Really cute playset - we got this for my daughter's 4th birthday. She and her older brother (almost 6) like to play "restaurant", sometimes they even sit in the booth while eating real meals. The price was very reasonable, too.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
Really good quality, but bell needs to be louder and chairs could be free standing so others could sit and pretend with the little one....
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
this was a present for my 3 year old but my 6 year old son and 6 year old niece love it too. it has been a constant source of entertainment for both ages.....i think i have even seen my 12 year old playing along pretty well......she thinks it's cool.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
I purchased this for my almost 3 year old son as a gift from Santa. I also have a 1 year old daughter and they both love it. He shows it to everyone who walks into the house with pride, and asks if he can make them some coffee.
The only thing we seem to be having a problem with is getting the table to stay on. We've tried everything.

bought it for my niece who turned one and it turned out to be a bigger hit for my 4 and 6 year old nieces. They love the diner table design and eat there almost every night.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
My kids keep playing with the kitchen all the time and it was an easy assembly.

Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
We purchased the Step 2 Fifties diner for our nearly three year-old son as a Christmas present. When he saw it, he immediately ran over and began cooking and serving up a storm. We had to tear him away to open his other gifts. I'd say it's a hit!
It took my husband and I only 30-35 minutes to put it together. We used both a screwdriver and a cordless drill. The stickers were easier than we were expecting as well. The product is incredibly durable and the accessories too cute for words. If you are considering a kitchen for your kids, definitely add this toy to your list. We give it six thumbs up!
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
Santa brought this diner for my 2 year old son and 1 year old daughter and they love it! It's not too "girly" for my son and it is big and sturdy enough that they can both play with it at the same time.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
We just received and put together! My son loves it! He especially loves the juke box. The only complaint that I have is that you have to make the holes in the plastic in order to screw the screws in. I also was a little disappointed that the stickers were not the same as on the website, box or instructions. Other than that I know that my son and the kids in my preschool will have tons of fun playing with this diner!
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
This is a cute set, but my version was missing the burner, the ringer bell, the jukebox and the faucet- all of the things that make noise and really accents the whole "diner" feel. We got it a few days before Christmas and as we were putting together before Christmas morning, it was extremely disappointing that it would be missing stuff, and couldn't get it before Christmas. The Step 2 folks were nice when I called. But overall, it took some of the thrill away as a parent.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
My little girl just loves it, especially when her friends come over, they all really enjoy playing together.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
the grandkids, age 3 1/2 and 18 months are having a ball with it. It appears to be very sturdy.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
I have twin 1yr olds and a 2 yr old who absolutely LOVE this. Usually two of them sit when the third serves them. Even their 6 & 7yr old brothers enjoy cooking and "dining". My 2yr old tells me "it's cooking, Mommy" when he hears the life-like boiling and frying sounds...nice touch! It took a little manpower (husband's lol) to get the seats in place, but the rest went together fairly easy. The bell is a great touch (not loud at all), but I think the jukebox should be stationary and some storage under the seats for extra food would be AMAZING!! Overall, this is the greatest gift anyone could give or receive if there's more than one child in the house.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
We purchased 2 of the 50's Diners for grandchildren, girl 7, boys 4, 3, & 9 mos. They all approached play differently with the diner but all enjoyed immensely what they were doing.
Was a 2 person project to put together and definitely needed a drill to make the holes for the screws.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
Very nice product. Since I have a grandson and a granddaughter, I like the fact that it is very appropriate for both boys and girls.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
This was the only thing that my 3 year old asked for for Christmas. She was happy on Christmas morning to see her "resterant" as she puts it! It didn't take very long to have her up and taking orders from everyone. Assembly was easy to follow and didn't take very long.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
Santa brought this for our 3yr old daughter ...
SHE LOVES IT ..... I can't tell you how many meals she has searved us since Christmas ....
It is sooo realistic .... WORTH EVERY PENNY ....
Great job Step 2 ......
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
I really love EVERYTHING about this toy and the type of play that it provides for my boys. All of them use it and their ages range from 1-6 years. I like that it's colors are gender neutral. I love that it plays music and has a table for them to sit at for playing oher activities. The only con that I can think of that bummed me out about this toy is that some of the stickers shown in the picture above are not sent with the set. They sent me different ones that look cheaper and less realistic. For example, the juke box above shows the song listings like a real one but they sent us a sticker that has music notes and a record on it. Also, above the booth seats show cool neon lights reading 'diner open' but ours is a picture of a hamburger and soda. The ketchup, mustard, and other minor stickers are different too. This only bothers me because I pay a lot of attention to detail but my kids don't mind and love it all the same so overall it's really a GREAT toy.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
This is a fantastic toy. My daughter (almost 4) and son (18 months) play side by side so well with this. They also eat their real meals in the booth now! Too funny. I love that this was so easy to assemble and is so easy to clean, and that all play food/dishes can store inside so we don't have clutter everywhere. Every grown up that has seen it comments on how cute it is, and the kids that have seen it just run to it.
Step 2 has incredible customer service as well--we had a defective burner on this diner and they replaced it immediately, no questions asked. I didn't even need to look up my invoice number! I was very pleasantly surprised.
We are now a Step 2 house--as of this Christmas we have the Diner, the Deluxe Canyon Road Train & Track Table and the Flip and Doodle Easel Desk and we couldn't be happier. All the other toy clutter in our home is going to Goodwill and we're keeping these three multi-purpose toys instead!
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
My 2 year old daughter absolutely loves this diner. Not only does it provide the kitchen play experience, but the diner booth provides a whole other imaginative setting for play. She espcially loves to "brew" coffee with the bubbling sounds and lights. We love this toy! I also appreciate that the small parts (food and dishes) all have places within the diner where they can be stored.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
I bought this as a Christmas gift for my twin niece and nephew. They are 1 1/2 years old and love it, I think it was one of their favorite gifts for Christmas. I will purchase more Step 2 products for them in the future.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
My boys love helping me in the kitchen so my sister bought this to keep them entertained when there is nothing to help me with. My boys love this kitchen!! The jukebox plays good music, there are plenty of accessories and they love the attached booth! The plastic can be tough to fit together, but over all the assembly went well. Out of all the hundreds of kitchens my sister and I looked at, this one is my favorite by far!!
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
My 18 month old received this for Christmas and loves it. He likes to serve us coffee and eats his own snacks at the diner table. Love the juke box.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
Great kitchen for boys- fun colors and sounds. Great for kids with special needs- encourages imaginative play.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
Kids love the 2 sides as one can sit and eat while other cooks and makes coffee or fries or icecream etc...Jukebox plays short 50's song riffs...Can double as lunch chair for real food.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
keeps the 18 month old busy AND the 5 year old! I wish the middle "window" were sturdier... be careful if you have a "climber"!!
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
My five kids all enjoyed dressing up in fifties attire this Halloween. So when they all saw this retro diner, they begged for me to get it for X-mas. It was bought as a joint gift for my two youngest, a five year old son and two year old daughter, and they have played with it daily ever since! My older children, 7 year old daughter, 9 year old son, and 11 year old daughter all love playing with it with their younger sibs as well- probably the only toy that they all enjoy and get along together while playing! My youngest three children have very short attention spans but this really seems to hold their interest a lot longer than other toys. The only problems would be that the older children are over the weight limit to sit in the seats. Although they pretend to cook and serve instead or just sit elsewhere, I wish it was made for a wider age range. The bell is very whisper-soft quiet. My kids didn't think that it worked at first. My husband said it was a bit of a pain for him to put together and I didn't enjoy putting the many stickers on- but still it is a favorite toy around here, even with a house full of toys! Overall very cute and unique and the musical jukebox is especially cool!
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
The 50's Diner is really adorable. My two year old and 6 year old love playing with it. I must admit I was a little nervous order it on-line since I've experienced in the past that items often look larger in the picture than they actually are, but I'm happy to say that was not the case. Two or three small children can play very nicely. My 2 year old loves the little juke box that plays 50's songs. It was a little difficult to put together, it requires screws (which are included) but it is nicely designed. I would definitely recommend this product.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
I like the 50's diner a great deal and so do both my girls as well as my nephews that are the same age. The only problem is that the bell is not loud enough to hear but the rest of the "bells and whistles" are great fun!
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
great product-granddaughter loves it.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
my grandaughter loves this toy!
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
We bought this for our 13 month old son for Christmas...we set it up early, and it has been such a wonderful help!! He loves it and will play with this for so long! We can cook dinner, clean, fold laundry, finish a meal, read the newspaper, etc. without a toddler climbing all over us and demanding more attention. He loves the juke box and will dance along to the songs. It is definitely durable, as we keep finding our son standing on top of the open oven door, and it hasn't broken off yet! He eats his snacks at the table now, so cute! My only wish is that it would have come with more play food.

This was the hit of Christmas Day at Mimi & PaPa's House. Our 31/2 yr old grandson said " I just knew this would be a good house to get good gifts". Last year he got the play house and he still loves that. We love everything about it from the table, food, perking coffee pot & juke box. We hope you're thinking of something great to make for boys next year.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
Easy assembly and quick to enjoy. Son (2.5 years) immediately started to play with it on Christmas morning.
I would've like to have seen more food items perhaps though. The amount we got was fine though.
Awesome deal and he has played with it daily for at least 20 minutes or more.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
Took 45 minutes to snap one of the seats into place--grown men and women putting all their body weight into it! Can't you fix that in the design???
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
My daughters received the diner for Christmas and they LOVE it!
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
Great product, my son is really enjoying playing with this diner.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
My 3 year old received this as a Christmas gift, she is a huge fan of the local Diner and we thought she should have one of her own. Our house is filled with vintage 50's items the 50's Diner really was a hit with the entire family. She eats her snacks on it, cooks, makes coffee and loves to ring the bell and play the juke box.
The toy is great because it incorporated both a kitchen and sitting area. There are numerous items to keep her busy. She really loves this and so do we!

We got this for my 18mth old son for Christmas and he is enjoying it so far, my 6 year old son also likes it and it really encourages them to play together. It is very cute - not too big for our apartment which doesn't have a lot of spare space. My 18mth old loves to make icecream cones for all of us :-)I think this will be enjoyed for many years. Only one issue was with assembly. I think starter holes in the plastic would have made it a lot easier to screw together. However, once together a very attractive and fun toy.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
We love the kitchen. The kids have a great time. They make coffee and serve us.
Some of the stickers are different than the box. I was disappointed that the juke box sticker didn't have the song list like the box showed.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
My 14 mo old son loved the diner the instant he saw it Xmas morning. It can keep him entertained for > 1 hour at a sitting. He dances to the little songs on the jukebox, has a blast crawling into the booth, and likes jamming all the ketchup/mustard bottles into the coffee pot. Only problem was that he liked to open the oven and then stand on the door, so I had to tape that shut before he could bust it or himself.
Just a note...the "screwholes" are just indentations, so you need to predrill them during assembly.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
My 18 month old grandchild loved the diner, as well as his six year old cousin, both boys. The
juke box and the coffee pot and frying pan are great but we were disppointed in the bell. We thought ours was broken and they promptly sent us another one but it is no better.
Not the most easy thing to put together but well
worth the enjoyment the children are getting out of it. Loaded with all the cooking supplies you need. Would definately recommend this to someone.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
This was a pesent from Santa and my daughter loves it! It is very fun and she is learning to play house and restaurant with it. She especially loves the little juke box that comes as part of the package. The only problem we had was that it took about four hours for us to get it together. Some of the parts were hard to fit together because they were so tight.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
Both my son (4) and my daughter(2) love this!
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
My 2 year old grandson is very busy cooking everyone something to eat, he loves to play the jukebox and the "coffee pot boiling" really facinates him. The order up bell lacks a little but that is not to take away from the Diner at all. We looked at several different kitchens and we liked this one the best because of the booth.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
Super Easy Assembly. Took less than a half hour and was simple! It's durable stuff, not cheap plastic it's the way toys should be made! I have become an enormous fan of Step2 products. We keep going back time and time again. They never disappoint us. The quality is just outstanding! MADE IN AMERICA!! And we LOVE THAT
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
The kids are enjoying the diner very much. The assembly wasn't easy, because there are no pre-drilled holes. There is just indents where the screws go. I had to do it with 2 hands to get them started, I recommend an electric screwdriver. The jukebox stickers are different then pictured. There is no song list it is just a picture of records. We will get many years of use out of this diner.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
I thought this kitchen was the coolest thing the second i saw it. I just had to get it for my 4yr. old. She absolutly loves it. Her and my 13yr. old have the greatest fun together. Its great when they can play quietly w/o fighting lol. the one and only suggestion I have is it could use a little more storage on the kitchen side. It is just the coolest.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
This was from santa and my 2 year old hasn't stopped playing with it!!! great buy!!!!
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
Our toddler boy has played with it everyday since Christmas. I like that it is suitable for a boy or girl. The diner is appropriate for individual play, with other children, or interacting with adults. We are extremely pleased!
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
Both of our boys, one that is 19 months and one that is 6 years old, love this diner. They "cook" us meals and serve up the food. They have a great time playing with everything. The 54 "props" that is came with are interesting and realistic. I even squeeze into the booth seats and it supports my 175 lb weight! The boys love it!
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
We got the 50's Diner for my 2 1/2 year old daughter for Christmas. She loves it. She especially enjoys sitting in the booth while I play "cook and waitress' for her. She has played with it every day since she opened it. I do wish it was a little big bigger so we could store more of the accessories in it, but that's not a big deal.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
I got this for my 2 year-old for Christmas and she loves it. The booth part is awesome because she has a place to sit down and "eat." Great design and just the right amount of accessories. No huge mess to clean up. Great product!
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
The stickers for the diner were not what was on the website. I was a little disappointed because it did not say diner. The bell does not ring that loud but that is ok because i am sure it would drive me and anyone else nuts.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
This product is awesome! My 19 month old son loves it. My husband was mad at first when he heard that I was getting our son a kitchen. This diner is more boyish than the kitchens. The jukebox plays great music. Since I am petite, I can fit in the booth seat and play too. The compact design doesn't take up much room at all. You can't really hear the bell but he still likes to push the button. I put this together all by myself. You have to use an electric screwdriver to make all the holes.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
This product is great for my almost two year old, she plays diner with her older sisters ages 9 and 11 the little one prefers to be the customer.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
We bought this diner for our 2 1/2 year old daughter for Christmas. She absolutley loves it! It is the perfect size for her, and even her 4 1/2 year old brother enjoys playing with her and the diner. She is especially pleased with the music from the jukebox - she dances while she cooks.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
Great toy, no complaints, Step 2 hasn't let me down, this is the 3rd toy I have purchased, and always is a winner!
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
Bought it for my 18 month old and 2 1/2 year old. They love it! Especially the jukebox and the bell!It was a little challenging for my husband to put together but that is extremely minor compared to how much fun my kids are having.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
My sons love it! It was not hard to put together and my youngest loves the sounds that it makes and the songs that it plays. We love it! The only bad thing that I can find is the chairs are a little small.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
I love that this has seats so it works all the way around, and very good for multiple kids at play. However if you have just one child using it you better be hungry for ice cream!!! Great product.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
We got this item for our 3 year old twin girls and they love it and we also have a 8 year old and a 5 year old they love playing with it to with the twins. It is a wonderful item, And we would do it again.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
My grandson LOVES his diner. On Christmas Day he was playing with his cousins and tonight I heard that his dad, my son--in-law, was "sitting" at the booth in the diner. My oldest daughter (age 39) said she wishes she had one.
Great for a boy who's dad is Macho Man.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
This product is awesome! My 19 month old grandaughter loves it! She started playing with it immediately and barely touched any of her other gifts. It is so much fun. We have all been served hot dogs, burgers and fries numerous times. It's great for the whole family.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
I have three grandkids, a 5 year old girl, a 4 year old boy, and a 17 month old boy. They all love it, play with it either alone or together. The baby has spent more time with this toy than with any toy he's ever had, he just loves it! The booth is very sturdy and well designed, the boys sit there to have their snack and to color as well as playing "diner".
My only complaint is that I wish the jukebox was built in or attached some way, as the kids fight over who gets to hold it, and it will eventually get lost.
Great toy over-all.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
This 50's diner was a great buy.[...]My grandson received it for Christmas and really loves it. London, my grandson always likes to help his mother in the kitchen and now he has his very own. This is a great kitchen for boys and girls. Everything is very realistic.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
This is a great toy once it was assembled. The kids love to play with the diner.
Putting together the eating area was very difficult. We needed a hammer and screw driver to force the left bench into place.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
I purchased this 50's Diner for Santa to bring to my son for Christmas. My husband and I put it together Christmas Eve and it did take a little longer than I thought. Also, the instructions say an electric drill is 'recommended' but it should say 'required'. But other than that the toy is fantastic! My son loves to play cook and he is 16 months old. He flipped when he saw what Santa had brought and has been playing with it all day. Great purchase!!
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
This was fairly easy to put together but most of the screw holes were not drilled. That made it a little more difficult.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
I love this diner. My almost 3 yr. old son no longer fits in his highchair and he will use the booth as his seat for all meals and snacks. My 8 yr. old loves it, also. The 50's theme is a hit with everyone young and old. Even my nearly 10 yr. old dances to the jukebox beats. The only cons are there are no shelves in the fridge and the server bell doesn't work.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
Our grandchildren(boys) love to cook and play together. The diner is a great opportunity for imaginative play. Great for all ages.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
This was a gift for a 2 1/2 and a 4 year old. I loved to see the thrill in their eyes when they saw the gift. I even enjoyed the fun we had with this item. Wish there were more items to 'serve'...and would love to find a dish cloth with a drain after dishes are washed. Fun item!!!!!!!
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
Assembly of the chairs would not snap into place.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
This retro kitchen is great for a little boy or little girl. I bought it for my 2 year old son and he loves the little jukebox that plays music. He is also likes to open and close the doors to the appliances and ice cream box. It makes a cooking sound when the pan sits just right on the cooking top. He has yet to master that, but he just uses his finger to pushthe button down. He likes to sit on the chair on the other side of the kitchen and relax and listen to the music.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
Our son wanted a kitchen for Christmas and my husband was a little hesitant until we saw this Diner. It is a great way for boys to be in the kitchen too!!!
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
This diner is great alternative to a kitchen set! My son loves to play in his cousin's kitchen and we wanted to get him something for Christmas that was not too feminine. This diner is perfect. It has the right amount of accessories and I love the attached table and chairs. And, it has really cute sound effects.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
I got this for my 2 year old to use and she really likes it. She especially likes the music. There are a few food accessories but not too much that they get all over the house. My only disappointment was that the songs are not the entire songs. I like that all the play areas are short enough for my daughter to play with (she is itty-bitty). Other kitchens were too tall. My older kids (ages 3 and 5) really like playing with it as well.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
kids love it cant get them away from it
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
There are no predrilled holes - so assembly took awhile. IF you dont have a power drill - get one!! Other than that love this item. My daughter is 2/12 and plays with it for hours.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
my kids pretend to work at a resturant. they love this product. great job!!
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
When my son's therapist said that he'd benefit from both a kiddie table (to have his own personal space to do coloring and puzzles) and a play kitchen (to encourage his imaginative play) I thought I'd never be able to afford the play kitchen AND all the seperate play food and play cookware that are sold seperately in my local stores. Then I'd also have to purchase the table and chairs seperately, not to mention I was also worried about the cliche of play kitchens being a 'girly toy'. I was very plaesed to find that the 50's Diner Set came with a built in table AND all of the food AND dining AND cookware, and it's colors are gender-neutral colors! I think the price is GREAT compared to my local discount stores! [...]

This kitchen is very fun. The 50's music gets us all dancing. I love that it has two sides so that my toddlers have room to play on their own. The only con is that there isn't much room for storage of the food items and the refrig. doesn't have any shelves. Even with those few cons, it is great and we love it!

Our two year old granddaughter loved this diner/kitchen on first sight on her birthday on Nov.1 and uses it every time she's at our house.
I definately recommend the 50's diner and a power drill or screwdriver to assemble it with.

My granddaughter will be able to have hours of imaginative play with her cousin. It will grow with her. I have even made her a poodle skirt and am presently looking for saddle shoes. I hope to buy her one of your toys that provide her with exercise and outdoor activities.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
Our 2 1/2 year old granddaughter and her 9 year old sister spend hours playing with this. The juke box is a hit. They get up and dance to it. I plan to buy a few more food items. Only one problem - when I'm the designated cook, I do have some trouble getting up off the floor. Old age I suppose. Would definately recommend to others. Cute as can be.

Quite the attention getter this one. It's in the middle of our playroom and the go to toy for all. So much to do which just this one toy; we decided to get additional play food and pots&pans to add to the enjoyment. A must have for boys and girls. Wow, can't get any better than this.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
This is a great kitchen for both boys and girls.

I bought 2 of these diners for my grandsons, one in Chicago and one in Florida both 2 years old. Their fathers would not let them have a "girly kitchen" so this was the perfect alternative. They have loved it so much and it has added hours of imaginative play.......My daughters-in-law said it was so adorable, I purchased a 3rd one for my own home when all the grandkids come to play. Thank you......[...]

We put this in our finished basement to amuse our younger grandchildren when they visit. The basement is done in a 50's theme so this is a great complement to it. The two youngest are 2 and 4 and they both love the diner. It comes with plenty o nice accessories and keeps them busy for hours.[...]

The coffee pot and door bell when your order is up are so great. My children are 2 and 3 years old. They play for hours. Making hamburgers and ice cream. They especially like to make coffee for their Daddy. The table is a great addition. They eat their real snacks there during the day. It comes with just enough accessories. I'm not cleaning up a million food items at the end of the day. We really enjoy this toy. It is kind of hard to assemble. Best to use a power drill. Some of the holes were not in the product. A screwdriver worked just fine. It just takes a little time!
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
I purchased this to have for my grandchildren to play with at our house during the Thanksgiving Holidays - seems that it is going to be a wonderful, fun toy. So far, the one thing I find unsatisfactory is that the doorbell has an almost inaudible sound - I tried two sets of batteries and neither make it sound any stronger. [...]

My son absolutely loves to play with this diner. He and his cousin have a blast cooking and then eating while listening to music. I can not think of a better gift to give him than this.

Can't wait for Christmas morning to see the expression on the child's face!
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
We bought this because we have three boys and found that a lot of the play kitchens were aimed more for girls. This is the perfect idea for both boys and girls. My guys love it!
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
The 50's diner is great, we bought it for our 18 mo and he loves it. Since our other child is older and in school during the day, it's like he's an only child, so I sit down at the table (squished up) and let him take my order. He makes my lunch and we play for hours.
This is a great gift for that special child in your life and as a parent; you'll get much joy out of watching your child's imagination come to life.
Well worth the money :)

my 2 year old twins love the diner! Its very realistic, and they LOVE the juke box!!!
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
My son absolutely loves playing with his diner. He'll pretend to cook, dance with the music and even eat at the table. It was not terribly hard to put together, but I feel the dirctions could have included written descriptions. The pictures were sometimes difficult to read and the holes where screws were supposed to go were either not pushed though or didn't even have an indentation. This made it a bit confusing to assemble.

We bought this for our daughter's 2nd birthday. It is an instant hit.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
The 50's diner was purchased for a November 1st Birthday present. It hasn't been given to the birthday girl yet, but appears to be well designed, sturdily built and exactly what our two year old granddaughter and her friends will enjoy for years.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
I have a child care center and everyone could not wait to play with the 50's Diner. It's so cute and comes with so many great accessories. I highly recommend this for children 18 months to 5 years. Great price too!
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
great toy. its actually 2 in 1, since each side is its own activity. i'd like to see a few xtra ice cream cones in future sets. also, in true diner fashion, the whole menu is unhealthy. how bout a fruit basket for good measure. every other toy in this category is pretty much the same. this is the 1 that stands out.

Bought this for my 3 grandsons ages 5,3 1/2 & 18 months. They all love it. Great for the imagination.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
I saw the 50's Diner on the website and loved it! I am a grandmother of 4 and the 1 1/2 yr old boy/girl twins are having a great time with it. My 3 yr old grandson also enjoys it. I can see them playing with it for along time. Attaching the seats to the diner was difficult. It took alot of muscle and the base kept flexing not allowing them to lock into place. I had to use a screwdriver as a pry to finally get them attached. For the cost of them item I wish there had been a few more accessories includes. I am always happy with the quality of Step 2 items.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
I wanted a kitchen that was geared for boys. This is perfect. My 2 year old loves it. He plays with it everyday. Was suppose to be a Christmas gift, but was to cute to wait for, so he has it already.Keep making great products Step2.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
Grandkids love this diner. I bought it to give to them as a christmas present but could not wait to see their reaction - they were thrilled. Assembly was simple- and this product is very sturdy - I know some people say their husband is a handy man and some items don't take them as long to put together - my husband is not - and before he got home from work I had most of it assembled. My only misgiving was that the bell to ring to tell customers that their order is up is so quiet that you can hardly hear it. The jukebox is great- I spoil my grandchildren with many items - but this one is on the top of my list.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
My grandaughter was thrilled to pieces with this item. She did'nt quite know what to play with first. She especially enjoyed the attached benches that put the table just at her height. She now uses her kitchen to eat all of her meals at her table. I am so thrilled with this purchase and would recommend it for any small child.
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
This diner is great - my kids are 10 1/2 months apart. I wanted something that would be perfect for both my son and daughter without being too girly or too boyish - this is perfect! My daughter (1 year) loves to put things in the oven and the cabinets. She is a little short to sit in the booth without slipping but we sit with her while she colors at the little table - it's absolutely adorable. This is a great alternative to the pink kitchen sets out there for people who have both boys and girls and want them to have a kitchen without the pink fluff. Tons of accessories too!
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
We use this product in play. We use it to describe our foods, to learn about our foods, we learn about measuring with all the trimmings.
The assembly was trying, no drill holes for assembly. Had to break out the drill!
All in all a great product!
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
my 4 kids love this diner!! and they really love the jukebox!!!
Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
I wish this were bigger! It is really for the 1-4 set. My 6 year old and her friends are too big for it, though they won't admit it.
Easy to assemble.
For best individual and kitchen play, I still have our Lifestyle Dream Kitchen(the big one).

Comments about Step2 50's Diner:
The Dinner really has all the details that an Adult can appreciate, with the fun that my kids love (I have a 1 and 3 year old). It will take no time at all to get it put together enough to get some use out of it, but for a stable assembly, it is about 30 to 60 min. of assembly. I love the music and all the action that the stove can do. The bell for the food could have been a bit louder and the jukebox perhaps should have been bolted in since it falls down alot, although, I guess it is nice that it can be brought to another location for my one year old to play with. It is not one of those toy sets they get bored of, but I am not going to say that it is the only toy they play with (we probabally have too many :) It is, however, the best kitchen oriented set I have seen.

We just bought this for our grandkids. They are 3(boy) & 1(girl) yrs. old. They can play together & have had fun with it already. Thanks for making a product that not only promotes imagination, but also brings back memories of the 50's for the old folks.

We bought this for my daughter for her 2nd birthday. We had been looking for a kitchen for her for weeks and when we saw this we thought it would be perfect. Both of my kids love this toy. They ate all of there meals there for the first week.. When every we have a playdate at the house that is the toy that everyone wants to play with, even the older kids. It is a must have for hours of entertainment. My daughter is also a climber and she has been climbing on this toy since we put it together and hasn't fallen off it once. It was a great investment & we would do it all over again.

I really love the design of this product...it is really cute. Mine did not have any directions anywhere so I have yet to completly put it together. It all snaps together but then it all falls apart...It came with some screws but there isnt anywhere obvious that they would go and I have been to busy to figure it out.
