The playhouse is wonderfully made. It has been used for hours of fun by both our little one and our Great Pyrenees. They both like to walk in and out the door, as well as from the terrace. It has been well used and shows no wear.

Being a grandparent of 9, we needed something "outside" to keep the kids entertained, learning life lessons & from under our feet, not to mention getting fresh air! Even the youngest (2 yrs old) enjoys playing house to mimic Momma & Grandma.

My 2 year old got this for her b-day. Easy to assemble. She loved it right from the start. She played in it for an hour today (we got it today). The roof is taller than I thought and there is plenty of room for three or four small childre inside. I recommend this house to parent of young children. I am missing the hanging basket which I was hoping for so I don't know if it comes with the set or not.

We just purchased this for our two year old. It was a big hit with all of her friends at her birthday party. She has plenty of inside toys so this was a nice addition to the backyard, it's fantastic that it blends in. My only complaint is that we can't get the door to open and close very well, it gets stuck and she gets a little frustrated.

I bought this for my 4 and 2 year old girls (although we have 5 kids total) They love it. even the older boys (5, 7, 8) have spent some time playing in it. [...] It was easy to assemble. Panels lock together and then a few screws hold everything in place. The playhouse is big enough for 3 to 4 kids. I am 5'7" and am able to sit inside on a child's size chair. There are ample windows and doors so that an adult can "play" without actually being inside the playhouse. The construction uses plastic hollow panels which are sturdy once locked in place. We will be keeping this inside but looks like outside would be no problem. There is no floor, so if outside the grass will be the floor. There is a small sink and table attached to a wall on the inside along with a few small shelves. A play phone is also located inside. This was a great purchase for us.

We have two girls (three and one) and they got the house as a Christmas gift and haven't stopped playing with it yet! I had to pry my oldest away from it last night to get her to go to bed. Entire extended family was over for the holidays and even the older boys enjoyed playing with the house. We have it indoors in their play room so we don?t have any weather related issues. It was money well spent as far as we are concerned! It took two people to get the roof on right but otherwise fairly easy to put together and as always a sturdy Step-2 product.

It blends in nicely with our spanish style house. Our Daughter (18 months)loves it and plays every day in it. The house gets good air circulation and does not get hot inside. I just wish it was a little bigger, so that the two of us can have enough space to move around. [...] Step2 products are always durable and fun to use.

Very stylish and practical given our Southwest desert climate where nothing made of wood lasts, to say nothing about no splinters.

Cute House
By AmyVerified Reviewer from Harleysville, PA on 6/20/2007
Pros:
Attractive Design, Durable, Easy Assembly, Weather Resistant
Cons:
Missing Phone Base
Best Uses:
Group Play
Describe Yourself:
Working Parent
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

My 4 year old likes to play with others in this house but not alone. He wants to climb on the roof a lot. We are still trying (unsuccessfully) to get a replacement phone base, which was missing from the box. When extremely humid, the battery-operated phone rings incessantly and there is no ON/OFF switch.
My 1-1/2 yr old daughter has no interest in the house. I really think it looks good and is durable.
