I spent many days looking for the right house for my son to play in and kept coming back to this one. He is turning 1 in a few days and this was his gift from his grandparents. He absolutely loves to ring the doorbell and to open the door and the shutters. This will be a great toy inside or outside. Would definately recommend to anyone else! And this was VERY easy to put together. Nothing difficult at all! Buy it... you will love it.

Ok, so if you can get over the price, you will not regret your decision to buy this toy. I've had mine now for 4 years and it is still in fantastic shape. The kids play house in it, fireman (the house is on fire, naturally), coffee shop (the window is the drive-thru), haunted house, fairy tale theatre and on and on and on. It is the coolest. Some people have complained about the lack of floor. We built a small wooden deck under it that works fine. Like others, I do find it hard to keep clean only because I'm super tall and it's hard for me to get inside. The spiders love these little houses and we've also had some paper wasps move in, but that just goes to show how weather resistant they are. We've given up on the stickers and we just power wash it clean twice a year. Oh, and these babies sell like hot-cakes second-hand and they barely depreciate (so why not buy new?). When your kids are through enjoying it someday, you could sell it online pretty quickly. But not me - this house is staying in the family forever.

I bought this for my 3 year old. It was the most expensive of all that I was looking at but I don't regret purchasing it at all. I'm really glad I went with this one because of it's height. My 11 year old will go in it with her friends to play with her little sister. This could have never happened in a smaller house. This tells me my 3 year old will have many years of enjoyment with this house. My little one spends hours in it. She puts all sorts of things in it - her shopping cart, her babies in their strollers. I bought two small stools for it so her and a friend or her big sister are comfortable in there for long stretches. [...] I was able to put most of it together myself (with a bit of help from my 11 year old) I only needed a bit of adult help to put on the roof. I also added an out-door rug to make it a bit more cozy.

I care for my two small grandchildren (2 1/2 and 4 mos.) 3-4 days a week. I have the playhouse set up in the bay of my living room so there is a lot of natural light and they can see directly outside and enjoy the yard and trees through their kitchen bay. My grandson absolutely loves the playhouse, and he is in and out of it all day. He loves the working door bell and rings it each time he enters or exits the house. It is roomy. The baby and I, along with the dog, can all fit inside with him comfortably. Since it is indoors I added a touch light inside near the roof to light it at night.

I am looking forward to my granddaughter being old enough to play in it. I like the fact that it is large, can fit indoors for supervised play year long and then later be put in the yard.

My family loves this house! My daughter spends so much time in it. She got it when she was 2 and we have had it for a year now. My nephew is 1 and also loves playing in it too. I am 5'2 and can stand up completely in the center. My husband is 6'3 and can get in and out easy to play but obviously has to kneel once inside. No water damage, no leaking, no stickers falling off, and looks great. would buy it again and again. It look the cost and is durable so you truly get what you pay for.

This is an okay playhouse but too expensive. The stickers do fade quickly and come off within a week as well as the dials for the kitchen which popped off and won't stay on. The door is very narrow and hard for an adult to get into. Difficult to keep clean as the sink fills with water whenever it rains and it is difficult to drain. I would have been satisfied if it had cost around $350 or so, but for [$] you'd think it would have more accessories (i.e. chairs, play food, pots/pans, dishes). Also, I ended up having to build a floor for it as once we put it on the grass all the grass inside died and the floor turned into a big stinky mud pit that never seemed to dry. But we live on clay soil with poor drainage so you may not have this problem.

This is one awesome play house! My three boys ages from 7, 4 and 2 love to play in it wether it's a cooking party they're having or just a boy's club it depends on the day. They only thing is that the skylight is broken due to the last storm we had so now they can't play in it when it rains if there is a way to replace I would do it in a hear bit! It's the perfect size for a few kids to have fun in all types of weather.

This playhouse is a lot of fun for my almost 3 year old. She liked it a lot when she got it a year ago, but I think she enjoys it even more now. A couple notes: it does NOT have a floor, which is good in some ways because you can just lift it up a little and spray it down to clean it. Also, the stickers that make burners for the stove came off right away for us, I think because my daughter likes to play with water and sand in it. That was not cool, I wish we could get more so that it looked like a stove again. Also, this is the best playhouse for multiple kids -- it's big enough to fit several without feeling too crowded. Assembly is not bad, but I recommend two people just to make it easier. The only reason I don't give it five stars is because of the sticker problem (would be better it burners were painted on) [...]. Step2 has been very good about fixing problems in the past, though. All in all, a good product.

The Welcome Home Playhouse is great for large families. It is large enough to allow at least 3 children to play comfortable at one time inside. The table and kitchen keeps them entertained for hours. One drawback is that you have to buy the chairs separtely. Overall I'm happy with my purchase.

This roomy (I can almost stand up fully at the peak of the roof at 5'6") and fun playhouse is a great way to spark your kids imagination. Our two kids (3 and 1) would live in this playhouse if we let them. They suggest two people to assemble but really it is required (mostly for attaching the roof pieces). We looked around a lot for playhouse that our kids wouldn't outgrown within just a couple years. I can foresee our kids playing with this for years to come.

This is the 2nd identical playhouse I've purchased--one about 8 years ago for my 1st granddaughter. Her parents gave it away in still great condition when she outgrew it many years later. The one I just bought is for my almost 1 year old granddaughter and she loves it already. She likes playing with water in the sink, ringing the doorbell, using the "phone" and just crawling round and pulling herself up to the windows. It's large enough so she can have several friends play inside with her.

I LOVE this playhouse so much.[...] My daughter LOVES this cottage so much, and it is wonderful that my husband and I can now get inside of it with her to play tea party. It now sits just under our covered patio and we put interlocking rubber squares underneath for a more comfortable playsurface. I was not a fan of the drab coloring of the playhouse (wanted something a bit more girly but I'm not complaining), so I purchased Tinkerbell lights, a little non-breakable wall mirror, Disney Princess wall hooks, etc. to girly up the cottage and make it more homey. I believe my daughter will love playing with this cottage for several years to come, and when the time comes, I'll pass it on to another little girl for the same great deal that I got.

We have 2 children ages 2 and 3. They love it and it is so big that their older cousins (ages 5-12) can play in this house with them. Our kids will not outgrow it for many years. We put astroturf down for a floor because the kids didn't want to play in it as the grass turned to dirt. My friends see this house and wish they would have spent a little bit more money and bought this one instead of the smaller, less expensive houses. That way they can actually fit inside when their kids want them to play with them. They also complain that their kids will outgrow the little houses in just a year or two. This product was bought for my 23 month old son. He has a SMALL cardboard playhouse in the basement that he enjoys but becomes easily frustrated when it falls over or apart. We needed something durable. His favorite features are the sink and the doorbell. I am having difficulty finding chairs small enough to fit at the table inside. The house was a bit difficult to put together because the roof pieces were a bit warped. I didn't like how the sides of the house attached. I think they could have been put together a little bit differently to provide more stability. Overall it's a great playhouse. I love the fact that it is pretty good sized. He will be able to continue to play with it as he grows.

We bought this for our 2-1/2 year old son. He really likes it. It is very roomy and thus perfect for two children to play in simultaneously. We bought two little step2 chairs to go with the house and they fit inside easily as well. My daughter loves this playhouse. She just turned five and is small for her age. She will get many years of use out of this playhouse. Her aunt and uncle purchased the set of chairs for inside and the mailbox...she loves getting 'mail' at her own house. I also put some potted flowers under the bay window so that it would look landscaped.

My husband worked on the assembly, which was a little difficult for one person. Even with both of us, it took about two hours (we had never worked on anything like this before).

Overall, it is a great product!

Our grandaughter really enjoys playing in her new playhouse. It was well worth the money. A good size for 2 or 4 children to play in. Some of the other brand playhouses can be very cramped. Even adults can come inside for "tea" and room to sit down comfortably. Great instructions as well.

We have several other Step 2 items and as always this one is a great product. However this one does't fit together as tightly as we would like, and the door is barely attached to anything, it is a matter of time before we can't put it back on any longer. The other thing about the door is that we did not recieve the same door that is pictured above, we recieved a half door. (Weather resistant except for the door bell.)

The playhouse was pretty easy to assemble. We did add extra rods the same length as those that came with the playhouse so they would be in the top of the walls as well as the bottom. Our little girl is almost 2 and absolutley loves it! I think it's really neat. There is plenty of room inside which is really nice. She has room to play with friends and perhaps at some point other siblings. The welcome mat at the front door is cute, but it does tend to sink in a little when stepped on. The underside of it is hollow and not solid all the way to the ground. We have considered putting something in the space but haven't done so yet. Overall, I would absolutely buy it again and would recommend it to friends and family.

It is a great playhouse my girls love it. Only drawback is how the walls go together. There needs to be "pins" on both upper and bottom corners they only have them for the botttom so the top walls separate slightly not a big deal. Assembly only difficult because you have to flip it to get "pins" in the bottom corners and it fell apart when we flipped it. I also had to purchase chairs separately to go at the table, wish they had been included.

We bought this as a birthday present for our 2yr old and she LOVES it. It is big enough that my 10yr old can stand up in it. We have 3 children and all of them can get in this playhouse and play comfortably at the same time. It is well worth the money for the size.. Our 6 and 2 yr old will not outgrow it as soon like with the smaller playhouses. When you put it together you will need to do it where you want it because it wasn't that easy to move also it needs the rods in the top as well as the bottom.It didn't take as long to put it together as we thought(hour and fifteen min Total) It takes at least 2 people to put together. Overall I would highly recommend this playhouse. Its big enough for several children and they won't outgrow it fast. We Love ours.

We purchased this house for my sons 3rd. birthday. He is tall for his age and this house was the tallest we could find. He will enjoy many years in it. We purchased this playhouse for our twin 2 year olds and our 4 year old. So far, they are really loving it. It is tall enough that I think even our 4 year old will be able to enjoy it for years to come. For as big as it is, it does get a little tight with all 3 in there at one time, but they don't seem to mind. The skylight is great for providing some extra light, and, with all the windows, there is nice airflow. I'm very happy that I made this purchase and can highly recommend it.

The kids absolutely love it. It took us about 90 minutes to put it together and directions are simple enough. I give it four out of five because some pieces did not have predrilled holes which I easily created. The welcome mat didn't have a predrilled hole either so we are not using it for now. But it really is spacious - I am 5'3 and stood in it easily to drill in the roof.

This is a really nice playhouse all four of my children like to play with it. They have hours of fun. My 8yr old fits in it without a problem. I even fit in it to play with the kids. This was a present for my daughter's 3rd birthday. although she is an only child, she has 2 friends on the street and they play together all the time so we wanted a house they could all fit in without issue. After research, this house it the bill.

We love the house, it's a great size and I can get in and play with our daughter. We put one of her plastic chairs in and love that the sink has storage under it so we can store her toys when we're not outside. The only problem we've had is that the Step 2 stickers are falling off. DH and his dad put it together in only a few hours, you must have 1 if not 2 drills though because a lot of the holes are not pre-drilled. I would definitely recommend the house, it's worth the cost and work of putting it together.

My one year old granddaughter just loves it! It is a joy to watch her explore and squeal with delight because "no-no's" aren't heard when she is playing inside, opening and closing doors, ringing the doorbell, and jabbering on the toy phone.
Only downside is that the instructions for assembly are not clear...and I was not informed there was a video available to help. Fortunately it was not difficult to figure out.

We live in the country. This playhouse has stood up to hail storm, wind storms and everything in between. This is such a great investment for our daughter. She loves it, she is 14 months old. She runs out there every day to play.

I ordered the play house for my 3 year old and the children that I take care of. They LOVE the house. It is big enough for 4 or 5 of them to be inside playing. They can't get enough of the door bell and the shutters that open and close. I like that it is a tall structure so that my older children ages 10 and 8 can also be inside and play with their sister. This has already paid for itself. I have two kids, 3 and 18 months, and 1 on the way. Lots of other kids from 8 years old down come to play and we can have five kids plus our big lab all in the playhouse at once. It has been well used in the one month of ownership. This is one satisfied mom.

Assembly was very easy, although certain parts (the roof)will take two people. My husband had to put a little muscle into screwing on the roof, but we got the whole house together in less than an hour. Lack of pre-drilled holes for some parts was NOT a problem at all. The kids love playing in it!

This playhouse is a welcome addition to our yard for the grandchildren. It it big enough for an adult to sit inside while a little one learns to walk around and play inside. Currently the child is only 1, but it has already become a favortie activity. For the assembly, a power tool screwdriver is a must. Especially for the skylight. Other than that, love it!

This playhouse has enough space for 3 preschoolers to be comfortably playing inside at the same time. It's great for toddlers up to young school age children...........Lots of opportunities to use the imagination. The kitchen and table are a great plus, and the working doorbell is a hit with all the kids. They really enjoy it, and I enjoy watching their hours of fun!

My 2 year old daughter was turning everything she could find into a "house" so before we even finished setting this playhouse up, she was already playing in it. She enjoys cooking in the kitchen and ringing the doorbell. But surprisingly, her favorite activity is climbing up onto the table or out the windows! And the house is sturdy enough for all of that! We love it and expect many years of use.

This is an amazing playhouse and well worth the cost. We bought it for current use by our twin 18 month old grand-daughters and future use by their younger cousins. It's large enough to allow both girls to play easily side by side. There's even enough room for one of us to join them inside. We ordered a second phone to eliminate any arguments. The playhouse arrived when Step2 said it would and was very easy to put together.....my husband and I did it in about an hour. The skylight didn't have any screw holes and will blow off in the breeze. We attached velcroe strips and the skylight is totally secure and we can still pull it off if needed.
We highly recommend this playhouse for hours of fun for children.

The kids love this playhouse! They cannot wait to go play in every nice day. It is great for both the older and younger kids ages 1-8. I love the size of this playhouse as it is much larger than anyone I have seen before. It is spendy but worth the extra money for sure! I have had about 6-8 kids in it at one time. My parents bought this house for my 3yr olds birthday. He just loves it. It is a beautiful house which I'm sure my 3yr old boy and 6mon old girl will enjoy for years. I am very satisfied with the every product I have ever purchased from step 2. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because the roof doesn't seem to align. We took it apart 3 times to see if we were doing something wrong. Also, be careful when putting in the bay window....got 4 fingers stuck in it..Ouch! All in all, it is a great playhouse.

My niece was disappointed she couldn't fit her bed in the playhouse! She insists on eating in there and uses it every possible moment. When it rained the other day, she insisted she could just stay insider "HER" house and wouldn't get wet.

We got this for our daughters second birthday. She has not stopped playing in it since we put it together. She plays "house" with her dolls and when we have play dates the girls "cook,wash their hands and pretend to eat at the table." The door bell is especailly cute!
The assembly is a two person job but did not take my husband and father in-law very long at all to put together.

20 month old twin girls love this!!! I fill the sink with water and give them cups to play with and they have a blast. They don't quite "play house" yet, but I know they will use this playhouse for years to come and eventually will. It's huge! I'm 5'2'' and can stand up in it at the center! :) I just wish it wasn't so much money! We really researched playhouses and were somewhat hesitant to spend so much money on a big plastic one. However, so many of the playhouses were tiny and had nothing inside them--they were hollow boxes--no shelves, storage or anything to play with. This playhouse is big--it's 5 feet tall in the middle, which assures growing room for my 3 1/2 year old. It has a fold down table, small built in shelves on either side of the table, a sink with two cupboards beneath a bay window & a small skylight. There are windows on all four sides of the house & it has a really nice design. The house gets a bit wet inside when it rains (as is expected with open windows) but for the most part, stays almost completely dry, which is nice as I've laid a small braided rug inside. I highly recommend this house as money well spent. My daughter LOVES it & so do we.

The playhouse is great if you have a taller child. Our child is 2 and over 3 feet tall. We were looking for a playhouse that she could use now and still have room to grow. This fit the bill! She has a great time in it. The assembly is more difficult if you try to assemble on a lawn versus a hard surface. We recommend it!

I purchased this play house with Grant money for my preschool. Although a bit pricey, my 4 & 5 year old prekindergarten children have enjoyed playing in it. You will definitely need two people to assemble it. I was disappointed that it came with a half-door instead of the full door shown in the advertisement picture. I've only had it assembled for a week so I do not know if it is durable and weather resistent.

I just bought this house second hand off of [...]. I got it for a steal! My daughter loves it. She has all of her play food and dishes in the house so that she can cook! There is so much room inside! We had the Storybook Cottage and she did not play with it al all. I think because it was so dark inside..... or maybe it was the tiny kitchen area. All of the windows on this design make it more open and allow more light in! We just sold our Storybook Cottage! I am so glad that we upgraded to this one! Well worth the money.

I bought this for my 2 year old daughter and surprised her with it! She loved playing in the playhouse that her cousin had. I chose this model because it is the tallest out there, that can still be inside the home which I wanted. My daughter is extremely tall for her age and I wanted this to last many years. Once it arrived and she saw the picture on the box, she screamed with happiness and excitement! It was fairly easy to put together. This playhouse is big, but it did fit into her playroom with some rearranging. It is pricey, but well worth it. My daughter plays in it every day and it is her favorite thing to play in. It is also a big hit when other kids come over. I am extremely happy I bought this!

Our tall 5 y.o. daughter and all her friends love this. It's not so much a house to sit in and play house as something to run in and out of. It's near our sandbox so they spend hours using it as a "restaurant," "factory" or "kitchen" where they make cakes and other treats to sell through the window or to take on picnics or use to feed the monsters. The storyline gets convoluted. All I know is that the house is very heavily involved. There are other playhouses on the block, but they're so much smaller that they're not conducive to group play the way this one is.

As for my 2 y.o. son and his friends, they especially enjoy having their own space, and opening and shutting the door and shutters. They cook in there too. The house does get very dirty, what with all the sand and mud, pebbles and leaves that get trekked in all the time, but in my opinion, that just goes to show what a great house it is, and all the open, creative ways it invites the children to play. We love it. Well worth the $$.

Easy to put together. It took my husband 90mins. I just held up walls. He did the rest. He said it was easy. It looks very nice and kids (ages 3, 1) love to play inside it. I agree with the comment about the clock. First thing the 3 year old did is climb on the sink to get to the clock.

We got this playhouse for my son's second birthday! He loves it! He loves to go in and talk on the phone. He rings the doorbell at least 20 times a day and loves to set his snack on the table. The roof was a bit of a challenge at first, but it worked out okay. We got the entire thing together in about an hour. We wish it had a floor, but we just put rubber mulch inside. It is huge!! This playhouse is great! I ended up ordering it because we wanted a house that our (tall) 4 year old could play in outside and that our 11 daughter could fit in with her. Also, this has neutral colors so our 1 year old son will play happily in it for years to come. We put a board under the bottom to make a solid floor and the kids love it. I also got some small storage bins to keep play food and dishes contained. So far, it has been a huge hit!

We absolutely love this playhouse! This one is definitely worth the money. What attracted us to this one was the height. We wanted something that our 2 year old could play with for years to come and not out grow it. Some of the other playhouses we looked at were so small. Love the doorbell and phone. The house is great with great design.

If I were to picky I'd say you should be able to buy optional windows to screw into the window frames. I live in Washington state where it rains 9 months out of the year. My husband and I bought some heavy vinyl and made our own windows for the house to protect the inside from the wet weather. The only other thing is the new model comes with a half door while the last model came with a full door with a window. So to protect that area I made a detachable (w/velcro) "doggie-door" of sorts to keep the rain out.

Size wise it's amazing. I'm five feet tall and I can stand up in it. I was able to fit my Step2 kitchen INSIDE the house, so now the kids not only have a house but a full kitchen IN the house as well. WHAT FUN!

I like the little skylight, it gives extra light but still keeps the rain out.

If I were to add one more thing to my big-house wish-list it would be maybe to incorporate some shelves in the house design, giving the kids a place to keep more "kitchen stuff" or whatever they so choose.

I love the house, it's a great addition to our back yard and it will be used for a long time.

This playhouse is such a great playhouse. We looked for one that would be large enough to grow with our children, who are 3 and 1. This was by far the largest playhouse we found. My 3 year old daughter loves this playhouse and invites me in to eat with her. It's large enough that I can actually come inside with her. We bought the folding chairs and play pots and pans to go with it and my daughter has so much fun pretending in her very own house! She would stay out there in it all day if I would let her! The children in my daycare love it, and so does my 14 month old granddaughter. For the expense it could have more electronics/activities on the inside. The phone is too quiet. They would have loved a mailbox. We tried to find the matching one on the box, but it only came in blue. We still have not gotten the roof to match up right, and the skylight had no pre-drilled holes, but all in all I think it was a good purchase.

We brought this house then furnished it with the step 2 chairs and play food and pots and pans also from step 2. Then later purchased the step 2 mailbox. Our 3 year old granddaughter will be able to enjoy this play house for years. It is so roomy I can, and have came easily through the large front door to play with her. It is so attractive and inviting to look at. The large front bay windows are beutiful from the inside looking out as well. Abigail loves the table,sink,stove,doorbell,phone, and of course opening and closing the shutters. The sky light lets in alot of extra light too. I placed this house in my basement, to get the most use of it. The kids are constantly playing in it, ringing the doorbell and using the 'phone'. My 2.5 and 5 year old play cooperatively when they are in it, and then go in and out of it all day.

Expensive but well worth the money! My daughter is 18mths and would play in this all day if we'd let her! Our neightbors daughter is 7 and she plays with her in it as well. So I know we will get many years of use. The only major negative thing is the roof needs more screws. Great Size 4 toddlers can fit easily. Is tall enough for my husband and I as well. My 9 year old daughter is tall, but still wanted to have a playhouse to enjoy with her 6 year old sister. This was the only playhouse I could find after many months of research which is designed for both younger and older children. Being plastic, upkeep and cleaning will be much easier than playhouses made of wood, and, it won't require repainting or restaining in order to preserve the finish. My girls starting playing inside before we even finished setting it up. I'm sure this playhouse will be loads of fun for years to come, and I won't have to buy another one!

We got this for my 2 yr. old daughter on her birthday. She loves it and has played in it everyday. My 4 yr. old gets right in there with her and they have more than enough room together. I should mention both of my children are very tall for their ages, and I can tell even the 4 yr old will fit in there for quite a while. We put play food in there and keep it stored in a basket under the sink which is nice to keep dirt/bugs off. They both sit at the table and have snacks. We bought the folding chairs seperately which are nice. Even I sit on them. I wish it had come with a floor or option to buy one. Our plan is to build a little wood deck to put it on before the fireants come this summer!

My 2 1/2 year old son likes the playhouse okay but it isn't one of his top toys. Because it was a Christmas present we currently have it set up inside. He mainly takes some of his toys into it and plays with them in the floor inside of it. We could have accomplished this with a cheaper house or even a tent. He's not interested in the play sink or stove since they don't really do anything. I picked this playhouse because of the larger size. It is roomy enough for a few kids inside or one kid and one adult sitting on the floor (my husband and I both are tall). There are 4 very small shelves inside and some storage space under the sink. I wish there was more though. There is not much room to store play food or cookware. Also the phone does not stay on the little hook so I won't be surprised if it gets lost quickly. There is a play clock inside over the sink. The placement of the clock makes sense to adults but my son can't reach it and wants to turn the arms. I caught him climbing up on the sink trying to reach it. It would be better if it was at a lower level so that kids could actually play with it. Even better, put it at a lower level and make it talk to help them learn numbers and how to tell time. I'm hoping that as he gets a little older he'll do more pretend play inside. Overall, I think it is a nice playhouse but not I'm not sure it is worth the high price...maybe if they added a few more features.

My daughters love this playhouse. It was easy to assemble, the only problem we found is the roof doesn't exactly fit correctly on one side. We are hoping over time it will settle and be able to fit correctly. Other than that, this playhouse is great.

The kids love it!!! They play house in there all the time. Especially my 4 1/2 year old daughter. It is nice and roomy inside. HOWEVER, this is a nightmare to put together!!! We(my husband and I) had the hardest time getting it put together. The roof is just supposed to snap on...well it didn't it was awful! It took us about 4 hours to put together whereas the other things we bought each took us about 15 minutes. We had to take out screws and rescrew them. The predrilled holes for the cupboard doors were in the wrong spot. One side it was at the top, the other it was at the bottom. There were no instructions on how to get the sink faucet in. We still cannot figure out how to get it to stay in. The kids like it which is awesome...but it was awful to put together and I still don't feel like it is very sturdy.

This at first seemed tough to assemble but once you get the window in with a pry bar it went together pretty easy. It goes together best with a flat surface to put it on. Great playhouse. This was a gift for both our kids ages 3 and 1. They love it. They both spent over an hour the first day playing in it. They also love ringing the doorbell. It is very roomy too. Would definitely spend the extra money to get this one over others that are smaller if you have the room for this. Only reason didn't give it 5 stars is because ours came with the stickers already attached.....Whomever at Step 2 placed the stickers on put the clock sticker on sideways. The 12 is in the 1 position. Would have rather had the sticker sheet included so we could put the stickers on ourselves. We plan on keeping our playhouse inside so can't comment on weather resistance, fading, etc. Easy assembly.

We gave this playhouse to our 2 year old daughter this Christmas. She was so excited to receive it from Santa. Her favorite feature is the doorbell. The playhouse was very easy to assemble. It only took my husband 1 hour to build. The only con was that the play area inside the house is smaller than what it appears to be in the website pictures.

I had this shipped directly to my grandson in AZ and I haven't seen it yet. But after his Dad ( my son )assembled it and my grandson when outside to see it, all he said was "Oh My". My two girls of 5 and 11 thoroughly enjoy this playhouse. They play in it almost everyday. It was supposed to be a Christmas gift, but I couldn't hold out giving it to them. They can't seem to get enough of how big it is and how they can have friends over to play in it without problems. It is very sturdy and well put together. I won't have to worry about the winds tearing it up either because it has screws on the roof and bars through the sides. It is a well built playhouse and we are glad we purchased it.

I assembled this for my granddaughter. It was impossible to force the bay window into place. I even called the manufacturer for advice, figuring I was doing something wrong. I was told, by a friendly telephone agent, to apply liquid soap to the surfaces and then to force it really hard to snap it in. I wound up cutting the peak off the part and then forcing it in. I was able to glue the tip back on after assembly, but this was very frustrating.

The roof didn't fit well, and even when screwed in from the inside it isn't fully attached.

The final instruction requires two people to upend the assembled house and insert steel rods in the bottom to hold it together. I wasn't able to do that because I was assembling it by myself. This surely was a step that could have been done before the roof was in place.

But it seems sturdy enough, so she can play in it and does. Still, I wish, at that price, it was better designed and engineered.

We bought this house for my two Grandson's last Christmas when they were one. They have enjoyed many hours of fun. They often grab our hands and lead us into the house to play and there is plenty of room for all of us. I can't comment on how durable it is in the Arizona sun because we have it inside. I know when they get a little older they will want to "camp out" in the house. I was a bit reluctant about the price but it is quite a bit roomier than the cheaper houses and sturdier. I know it will bring years of play for my Grandson's and my future Grandchildren. This house was well worth the investment.

My 3 year old granddaughter's first comment on seeing this house was, "Wow!" It was large enough for both grandparents and her father to join her (sitting down) inside. We built a deck for it to sit on so she would be able to play in it after a rain. It's best feature is that it causes her to use her imagination rather than having it programmed for her. Her favorite extra on it is the doorbell.

I bought this house second hand. We can't afford one at the new price. It is over 6 years old and has served its first family well. It has been outside for the last 2 years. It is a complete bug magnet. I plan to cover it with a tarp, during harsh winter weather. The roof and shutters were a little sun faded, but they are in working order. I ordered a door bell, because we have an earlier model which did not have one. I used Krylon fusion paint to repaint the roof. The shutters came pre-assembled. Once I figure out how to ge them off, I plan to repaint them also. For now, the girls just want to play. I disassembled it and power washed it and replaced the stickers. It looks new and is ready for more play. My girls 3 yrs. and twins 16 mos. love, love, love this house! They have played with it everyday since I put it on the patio. They drag all of their dishes from their kitchen set out to this house to play. They have a climber slide and swings, but they only want to "play house". My 3 y.o. loves to open and close the shutters and door. My twins like to ring the bell and talk on the phone. I do wish that Step 2 made a floor for this model. Totally worth my sanity!

Only child and group of children love this. Easiest for me to get in and out of. Chose the smaller Natural Cottage, but should have gotten this. Was even on sale for [$] once when toy store closed. Best playhouse, most sturdy.Worth every penny.

Expensive for what it is. Nice playhouse but difficult to put together. Screws rusted after first rainfall including those on the phone that was never in direct contact with water. Doesn't come with much to do for the kids.
