My grand daughter always wants to mail me things and bugs her mom to go to post office, now she just puts then in the mail box and she is happy and then moms give to me when she sees me and she is amazed. she also receives mail from me.
Comments about Step2 MailMaster Junior Mailbox:
Love this mailbox. We put small pieces of mail in it, so daughter can "bring us the mail". Has a plug in the side so I purchased some pea gravel to go in it so it won't tip forward when she opens the box. This worked. The only suggestion would be to make the actual box size bigger so it will hold standard sized mail.
Comments about Step2 MailMaster Junior Mailbox:
My boys love this. Just wish the box itself was a little bigger to fit our junk mail in.

MY CHILD LOVES GOING TO GET THE MAIL. NOW SHE HAS HER OWN BOX OUTSIDE HER HOUSE. LOVE IT
Comments about Step2 MailMaster Junior Mailbox:
This is a small (Jr) mailbox that my 4 and 3 year old have fun playing with. One delivers the mail and the other mails it out.

This is so cute, will go great with the new playhouse
Comments about Step2 MailMaster Junior Mailbox:
My son drove me crazy to find a kids mailbox. I was so glad to find Step 2 had it.[...] He enjoys playing with it. I think it's very cute but just wish it was a little bit taller.
Comments about Step2 MailMaster Junior Mailbox:
We bought this to go with our daughther's playhouse. It was a great addition. We actually put our junk mail in it and she is always so suprised when she sees that she has mail. The only downside is that it is not deep enough to fit an actual letter size piece of mail. Otherwise, we love it.
Comments about Step2 MailMaster Junior Mailbox:
The mailbox is pretty lightweight, and can tip easily. This also makes it easier for kids to put it where they need it, tho. There is a plug in the side where you could add sand or other material for weight. Also, we use real envelopes and junk mail to play, and they don't fit in the mailbox too well. We are adjusting, tho, and it has been a good addition to our dramatic play.
Comments about Step2 MailMaster Junior Mailbox:
My kids love creative play so this mailbox was a great compliment to our kitchen, dolls etc. My kids just love playing "mail man" and it's the perfect height for thier little ride along cars.
Comments about Step2 MailMaster Junior Mailbox:
Our son (5) and daughter (2) love to pretend that they are mail carriers. This mailbox is the perfect size for little guys to deliver and receive mail. We are using it indoors with the Doorway Playhouse and it works very nicely. So far it has been very sturdy and we have no complaints.
Comments about Step2 MailMaster Junior Mailbox:
It was a gift for my 3 year old grandson who wanted a mailbox. He loved it as did all the other little ones visiting.

My son's favorite gift from Santa! Very kid-friendly and simple design.

This was purchased for our granddaughter who loves to check the real mailbox. She has had hours of fun predending to mail letters and retreave mail from her mailbox. Her mother puts things in it and puts up the mail flag which tells her she has mail. hour of play fun

I bought this for my grandaughter to go with the house she has, she plays in it everynight and loves to put her "mail" in the box and take it out.
Comments about Step2 MailMaster Junior Mailbox:
The children at our preschool love this equipment. It is sturdy, weather resistent, fun and lots of different 'things' to do. We were initially worried about the swings not being safe for the kids but they are placed quite low and perfect for 2 yrs old we use it for.
Comments about Step2 MailMaster Junior Mailbox:
The kids in our preschool loved this piece and were fighting over it. they loved opening and closing etc.
Comments about Step2 MailMaster Junior Mailbox:
My 20 mo. old daughter loves to walk to the mailbox. We bought this with the Neat & Tidy Cottage to give her her own mailbox. She loves it! We put junk mail in it for her to discover -- she's thrilled to have her own "mail".
Comments about Step2 MailMaster Junior Mailbox:
This toy is cute. The only problem is that it doesn't include any "toy mail"

Comments about Step2 MailMaster Junior Mailbox:
assembled out of the box, just set up and play. it's the perfect size for little ones. only drawback, which is sort of big, is that it is not weighted down so topples over easily. there is some sort of an odd-shaped plastic bolt head towards the bottom of the post, and if that opened up i suppose you could put sand in there or something, but i haven't tried. of course, that is only practical if you are using it outside. if this were weighted down straight out of the box, it would be much, much better.

Its a must have to add to one of the houses.I just wish it would have came with mail!

Comments about Step2 MailMaster Junior Mailbox:
My grandchildren are 4 and 2. Think the two year old was ok with it but not something they really enjoyed. It tips over easily on carpet. Very light.
Comments about Step2 MailMaster Junior Mailbox:
My child loves to put mail in our adult mailbox so we got this for her since she just loves to mail. The only problem is the mail door is hard to open. She can't really do it and she is 1 1/2 years old. I don't think there is a way to loosen it up. Great idea though.
Comments about Step2 MailMaster Junior Mailbox:
This toy is a bore! It's way to small and falls over every single time my daughter tries to open it up.

My son loves it, he is two and a half and likes to get his own mail. Perfect height for little guys and not to heavy so he can move it around. Also it's so cute with his name on it.
Comments about Step2 MailMaster Junior Mailbox:
Just what we needed to extend our writing center at preschool. The kids love having a"real" mailbox.

Comments about Step2 MailMaster Junior Mailbox:
I purchased this mailbox to go along with the Naturally Playful Front Porch Playhouse for my 2 year old granddaugher. I love the durability of the product and the fact it came fully assembled from the box. The only thing I was disappointed in was the lack of "mail" to go with the box. My granddaughter kept wanting the mail to put in there. I would like to see Step 2 make some pieces of mail, made of the same material as the box, to use with the product. Would recommend this product for use with toddlers and preschoolers.

I bought one about 8yrs. ago and that one was nicer. They gave you individual stickers to use as numbers and names instead of one long white sticker you had to write on.

Comments about Step2 MailMaster Junior Mailbox:
My son is 22 months old. We have been playing with the mailbox almost daily. I purchased white envelopes and put the names of all our family members on separate envelopes. He can recognize each name and enjoys mailing letters to his family and friends. Laminating letters is our next assignment. He can't wait to play post office with his cousins! Lots of play value for a simple toy. I'm sure he'll find new ways to play with it as his imagination grows.

My 2 1/2 year old daughter loves this mailbox. It's so realistic and it goes great with her Welcome Home playhouse. I just wish that it came with a few accessories. Some play mail and a small pretend package would be a great addition!
Comments about Step2 MailMaster Junior Mailbox:
My son loves the mailmaster JR mailbox. My husband and I write notes for him at night and put it in the mailbox with the flag up, and in the morning he gets so excited he has mail. He is a big Blues Clues fan. So we put it next to his thinking chair, and he sings the mail song! It's too cute!

Comments about Step2 MailMaster Junior Mailbox:
i PURCHASED THE MAILBOX SO THAT I COULD LEAVE MAIL FOR MY GRANDSON EACH DAY. HE ALWAYS WAITED FOR THE MAILMAN TO COME BUT HE NEVER GOT MAIL. NOW HE DOES.
Comments about Step2 MailMaster Junior Mailbox:
I just wish this mail box was a little larger so you could fit more "MAIL" into it- it's just a little bit small. I cannot believe the treasures I find placed in the mail box!!! We bought this when my son was 18 months old.
Comments about Step2 MailMaster Junior Mailbox:
This is a cute mailbox but my daughter, who just turned 2 only played with it for a minute. I am going to buy some cute stationary for us to leave her notes in it but I'm not sure that matters. This would be a better toy for a younger child. Also the "name sticker" on the side is cheesy. It's just a piece of tape that you have to stick on it and use a marker to write your name....no big deal but they advertise the "name" feature like it's cool....it's actually not.
