My husband had no problem assembling this product. I think the price is reasonable. The decals are nice, but it seems like there should be a windshield decal on the front. It would look really nice and more realistic if it did. It appears that Step2 intended to have one there, but for some reason they didn't make the decal for it. The bike is sturdy and looks like it will last a long time. I have an 18 month old and two 2 1/2 year olds. The 2 1/2 year olds use this bike more. One of my children has low muscle tone in his legs so he can't get on this bike yet by himself unlike some of the other more stable ride ons. He is now too tall for the stable ride ons and this bike is a good height for him. My other children are able to get on this bike fine, but at first they had to get used to balancing on the bike. They fell over quite a bit when turning corners. I would not recommend using this bike on concrete or on hills at first. It tips over very easy and takes some time to learn how to balance on. Now they ride on it fine for the most part. My 18 month is a little young for this product, but she'll grow into it. My 2 1/2 year olds seem to like it but it requires lots of leg work. I am looking forward to seeing how they like riding on it outside in the warmer months.

My 2 year old wanted a motorcycle, and has been thrilled since it was under the tree on Christmas morning! It requires some balance as it is only 2 wheels, but is fairly light-weight if it falls over. Overall this is a great product!

we had one of these for our youngest son when he was little and now that we have a grandson we had to buy him one. however he is only 10 months old he can sit on it and loves being pushed around on it and he already tries to make motorcycle sounds. haha he loves it and screem when you stop pushing him.

Puchased 2 for my twin grandsons age 2 1/2.Would only recommend for inside use since it tips over very easily. Plus the children are unable to turn the handles and wheels which only allows them to go straight.Not happy at all with purchase. However the twins thought they were great.

The box says "Easy grip handles help toddler steer". Flase advertising. How can you steer when there is nothing to turn. Very misleading. I would not recommend this motorcycle at all. I am trying to replace worn-out motorcyes that can go fast and turn, even in circles.

We bought two of these for our 4 1/2 yr old son and 2 1/2 year old daughter and both love them. The handlebar grips were a little difficult to put on, but we used a little hand soap and that made it easier to twist them on. One thing I find interesting - I just read that the recommended weight limit is 35 lbs and age is 3+; our son is 48 lbs and our daughter 30 lbs. - I don't know many kids 3 and older who weigh under 35 pounds...

i bought this product directly from step two for my eighteen month twins it was very easy to assemble only fifteen minutes. the rubber on the handles was difficult to put on.
the cycle is okay only a couple of issues. the handles do not turn so you can only go in a straight line and it is not that fast.
but overall its not bad at all for the price the little one are enjoying the ride.

The motorcycle is very durable and easy to assemble. The only problem is the handle bars don't turn so my son can't turn when riding it, he can only go straight. We got it for him for his third birthday so he had something other than his bikes, but becuase he can't turn the handle bars he uses it a lot less than we thought. The tires also pick up dirt really easy so if he rides it outside and then inside on the tile it makes a horrible fingernails on chalkboard sound. He does enjoy it and I would reccomend it for maybe a 2 year old not a 3 because he will probably not use it for very long since it is so limited in what it can do. becuase he can't turn it and go places as fast as he would like to. Great gift for a younger child.

My son, who is enthralled by all kinds of motorcycles, received this from us for his 2nd birthday. He absolutely loves it. It wasn't as easy to assemble as it appeared when it came out of the box and with my husband deployed, the neighbor's husband helped assemble it. It wasn't too hard except getting the rubber grips on the handle bars. *Hint: a little spray of Pam made the process much easier!

My son loves it!!! He looks so cute riding it around the house. I would recommend it more as an indoor toy than out, only because I'm not sure how long the wheels would hold up with constant wear and tear up and down the driveway and I'm sure like all outdoor toys it would fade from the sun a bit.

Overall, I would definitely recommend this to anyone who has a little one that loves motorcycles or just enjoys ride on toys. I like that it uses kid power instead of batteries, too. Next year we'll probably upgrade to the coaster bike!

My grandson loves this motorcycle. I admit it takes some new balancing skills for a two year old, but I expect he will learn while riding. The front tire doesn't turn and I thought that this would be a hassle; considering his age and balancing skills if the front wheel did turn, he would be falling a lot.

I purchased 2 of these - one or each of my twin children - one boy & one girl. They hopped right on them once they were built. My son pressed the handle expecting it to move via batteries, but then got the hang of it. They mount them and start cruising frequently. Excellent balance training and use of motor skills.
The only negative is that the front axle is either too long or is missing a 'nut' - the hub caps fit very loosely and spin around. This does not affect use of the motorcycles.

I was easily able to assemble the motorcycle for my 2 year old grandson to unwrap on Christmas. After it was unwrapped, off he went around and around the house. He loves it and will be able to use it inside or outside. It seems sturdy and is easy for him to ride.

She rides it, pushes it, tows it... it doesn't matter, she loves it! At 17 months her legs are about an inch too short but tippeetoes moves her right along. Little unstable getting on and off but can be mastered! Altho suggested for 3+ it is definitely Ok for a little one 18 months+.

My 2 1/2 year old son loves this motorcycle, so much so that when he rides it you must refer to him as "motorcycle guy". We primarily use it in the house without any problems.
My only concern with this bike and the reason why I marked "unsafe features" is that there was some extra plastic on the top seam between the handle bars and my son actually scraped his chin on it enough to bleed and leave about an inch long mark. Other than that the experience has been a good one.

We purchased this motorcycle for my son for his 2nd birthday. He absolutely loves it! It is the perfect size for him now and will grow with him for at least a few more years. We live in a small home and don't have much room inside or out. The motorcycle is great because it isn't too big to put out of the way and is easy to use inside and out. I had a hard time trying to assemble it but my husband got it together ok. The only problem we had was with the grips that "slide" onto the handle bars. They were way too tight to slide on easily and it took us forever to get them on all the way. Other than that we have enjoyed it!

My son has used this for over two years. He has been a little too tall for it for a while now, but when I tried to take it away he had a fit because he loves it so much! He sits on the back of the bike instead of the seat to accomodate his height, so we are going to upgrade to a bigger bike. But this toy has held up very well - it is definitely worth every penny! Another plus - the plastic wheels will not scratch or mark up wood floors.

Very disappointed in this item. I am a loyal purchaser of step 2 items because my son usually loves everything w/the step2 brand and I love the quality!...I bought this item for my son's 2nd b-day. He is way too big for this toy and the wheels don't freely turn as I expected them too. The wheels fit too tight on the wheel base and therefore are practically stationary and barely move. So my son says it's broken because he can't make it move and gets off right away. This toy is for 1 year olds not 2 year olds.

My 4 year old daughter has the pink one and my 2 year old son has the red one! They love them! They both had out grown there little ride-on cars but still played with them so we thought these bikes would be more their size! They both are able to ride them very easily! We bought the pink one for my 4 year old daughter and the red one for my 2 year old son for Easter! They love them! They both had out grown there little ride-on cars but still played with them so we thought these would be fun for them! They both are able to ride them very easily! We have had a few crashes but they get right back on them and go again! I love the fact that they are big enough for them but small enough to be inside the house!

This product was very disappointing. I am returning it back to step2. The back wheels do not roll good at all and it is very difficult to maneuver. If step 2 put on rubber wheels, then it would be a great product. The platic wheels makes this a poor product. Don't waste your time and money. Look for something with rubber wheels that will roll easy.

I am a foster parent for many different ages of children. My toddlers got a kick out of this toy. I wish the wheels were not so stiff. Hard for the younger children to move it across the floor. My older toddlers love it. They are in to motorcyles and really enjoy playing with this one.

I sent this toy to my nephew for his 1st birthday. Wow, is he ever having a blast enjoying his new motorcycle. His daddy, my brother, enjoys it since it is similiar to his real one, so they can pretend together. Age recommendation states for 18month plus, but at 12months this is turning out to be a great present. Not much to try to figure out on this one.

My 2 1/2 year old son loves motorcycles. I am not a fan of battery opperated ride-on toys, though there are some great ones out there. I beleive a child should put his/her energy to good use. My son loves this toy - it is light enough for him to pick up and move around the house. Love it and plan to buy it as a gift for a friends 2 year old son. Plus, I can't believe the reasonable price.

This was a Christmas gift for my 2 year old. It is the most played with gift he received this year. It is small enough he can zoom around the house on it without banging up the walls! He rides it all day long and takes his teddy bears for rides on it too. The very first time he got on it and gave a push, he relized that it would take some balancing, but since then, he's had no real problems with it tipping over. It was easy to put together and seems very durable. I am so glad we got this for him.

i purchased this for my 2 year old and he won't use it because he can't steer it. the front wheel is stationary and will not turn. he uses his brothers(one of the 6 yr old twins) old ride ons that we saved that steer.

I was an enthusiastic purchaser as my 18 month old grandson LOVES cars, trucks, bikes. This was too cute and he HAD to have one! I was wrong to get it now. He is too young. He is big, but cannot keep it upright. He gets very frustrated and crys when it goes over(every time he tries to ride it) I will put it away and try again at 2. I love Step 2 products, I think I need to be patient. I hope he will love it in 6 months!

We bought this motorcycle for our grandchild's first birthday. It is very cute but is a real bear to assemble. One person would not be able to do it without help. Also, one of the shims on the front wheel was not long enough for us to be able to attach both of the white hubcaps (axels), so we were only able to attach one of them.

My boy just turned 1 year old and I got it for his birthday; he loves it! He can't go fast on it yet as he can't quite coordinate his feet because he just started walking, but it helps him with his balance and it makes for great fun when I push him around the house. (it's definitely safe if your 1 year old is big like mine, otherwise, i'd wait 'till 18 months or so).
He gets upset if I don't do it fast enough!
Since he can't say bike he calls it his "vroom-vroom". Great experience.

I love this bike. This was the first ride-on my husband and I bought for my son. He's three now and he still loves it. We have to pack it up and take it with us on trips. I'm so glad it comes in pink now. I also bought this for my nephew now I can buy it for my niece. The only con is during assembly. The handle is hard to fit throught the tiny holes. After that it's perfect. This is a great ride- on . It's so durable. The toddlers I watch love this ride-on and it's so easy to bring inside and take outdoors

I love this toy. This was the first ride-on we ever bought for our son. He is three now and still loves this bike. We have to pack it and take it on trips. It's been thrown around and jumped on and it's still in one piece. I'm so glad it comes in pink because I've bought this bike for my nephew also. Now I can buy it for my niece . My mother has child care and I bought 4 total for her children. My children go there and it is not low and steady enough for my 1 year old but my 3 year old and the 2 and 4 year olds are having a blast. They are perfect and small for storing yet realistic for pretending. Not just another push toy!

It is a great product. Easy to assemble, the boys (twin 2 year old boys) love it. The only bad thing is that you can not steer it unless you physically pick it up and scoot it over. Other than that it is a great step before a bike with training wheels.

I put them together. The directions were very understandable and I would think anyone could assemble. As soon as I had them put together the boys were on them. the children are 1.5 and 2 years old. I even bought the same color so they would not fight over them

My husband bought the green one for our two kids, daughter, 4yrs and son, 21 months (to share). They ride on it together all the time! My son usually is on front pushing along his sister and she jumps on back puts her feet up and he rides them along. It's so cute! Not only do they love it but i have 2 younger brothers who are 8 and 9yrs old and whenever they're over they get on and have lots of fun too! So it's extra durable and takes a lot of play wear! We've had ours for about a little over 2 months now and for the amount it costs and the amount of uses/play it's been through it was def worth every single penny! I have one other (Playskool) ride-on and my kids have played on the character/musical (Nick Jr.,Sesame St.,Disney) ride-ons that their cousin's have but this is absolutely the best ride-on to get!! This is their fav. and the one that they love to use over and over everyday! Bottom line is I would recommend this motorcycle to everyone and anyone who has a younger one. Ours is mainly used indoors and as a stay-at-home mom my kids are getting so much play out of it and right now I'm actually on this site to purchase another so that my kids can have one each! It's GREAT!

My son loved the motorcycle, however he outgrew it quickly. He has been larger than kids his age since he was born. He quickly outgrew (within 5 months) the cycle but still loves it. Make sure your little one is wearing their play shoes, as they tend to drag them on the sidewalk. Oh, and don't forget their bicycle helmut! My two year old totally enjoyed this cycle.

We bought this product after my son tried it at a Recreation Center. He has played with it a couple of times but scoots across the house then gets off and moves on. He has had much more fun and use out of a car that he can push, ride, hide things under the seat, turn a key and steering wheel. He got bored pretty quickly when there is only one activity to the motorcycle.

I got it for my first nephew last year and he loves it, He was not yet two and liked it because he can pretty much just walk with it between his legs. Now he likes to pop wheelies and do little spins with it, even picks his feet up to coast a few times. I LOVE IT!!! It's just the right size for our small 3 year old. My husband gets a kick when our son gets on it and says... ride my vroom vroom like my daddy.

After putting the product together we found that is was very hard for the wheels to turn. We would not recommend this toy to anyone.
