This was a first birthday present. Our son and his 3 1/2 year brother both enjoy it. It's nice to have a riding toy that you don't have to bend over and push the child in. They love to put things under the hood, too. The only thing that bugs me is that our hood is a little warped. I am impressed at how quiet it is. It doesn't make a sound!

Love this buggy, and so does my son! The beeping sound really amuses him, and it helps me keep him interested. The only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars is because it's hard to make turns with the child riding it. You have to lift the front wheels a little bit to havea smooth ride. Wish the curves were easier. Aside from that, love this product and highly recommend it. Definitely better than lugging a stroller around.

I love this product for my 16 month old. She enjoys riding in it. If there were any areas to improve I would recommend a cup holder/key holder on the handle; the floor board-my daughter keeps dragging her right leg on the road/sidewalk and there is no way to minimize this because of the openness.

I got this for my one year old son last Christmas, he loves it! He is always trying to push it around himself and puts all his candy and toys in the hood. He pushes it out of the garage and sits down and honks the horn to be pushed. Now he is two and still loves it, the only thing was that it was hard to put together unless you have the right tools, the holes are not pre-drilled. Otherwise it is great.

My daughter loves it! She is only 9 month old and is tired of her stroller, but in her "car" she takes longer walks without whining and trying to get out. Seat belt is a nice safety feature for smaller children. My child is trying to get up during ride and seat belt keeps her in place ). Very cute and sturdy. Would recomend to everybody!

Our son would steal other childrens Step 2 buggies when we would go to the park, so we purchased our own. Now other children try to steal his. He is not as into it, knowing he gets strapped in and buggied around, but it is better than the stroller. He sits up nice and strong as compared to slouching in the stroller. He also has a place to put a sippy cup. He loves the cup holder and trunk. One suggestion though would be to make the car a little longer so that we could have a little more leg room for growing.

I brought two of these whisper ride buggies. A blue one for my grandson and a pink one for my granddaughter. They love it!!! Their parents love it too. Its so much easier to put them in the buggy to take them to the park or just to go for a walk around block. Its something different and fun for the children compared to being in a stroller everytime. I only wish they would design a better bigger canopy that would provide plenty of shade for the children when you out in the HOT sun. The one they do sell separate is really small and doesn't do much.

The instructions for the seatbelt installation are very unclear. Which side should the belt point and which side of the buckle should point out? You need better photos with your instructions. The little I could see in the instructions show the belt anchors pointed in different directions. Otherwise, the buggy is cute.

I bought the Whisper Ride Buggy in pink and purple for my daughter's first birthday. Twice a day I put her on it, put her glass of water on the cup holder and we take our dog for a walk. My daughter loves it!
It was very easy to put it together, I did it my self, the wheels were a little bit tricky but my husband helpt me with that.
The only con that I found was that the purple handle part, through normal use, broke apart at the base. I called customer service and in less than a week I had the replacement part at no charge. Excellent customer service!

Gave this to my nephew for his first birthday as it was one of my daughter's favorite presents on her first bday! My sister called to say he loves it! We love the look of the car. My son loves it and it's great to take for a ride to the Pizza place or the drug store a block away....we always choose this in favor of his stroller for that lunch time walk for pizza. Yet, from the "get go" I noticed it a bit hard to stear and my son was onlt 23lbs when we got it. Going over lips in the sidewalk (where tree roots push up the sidewalk) is not easy and making turns isn't east unless you push down on the handle and lift the front wheels....yet the manufacturer cautions against using the handle as a lever. Low and behold...today our handle snapped off :-(

A new one is on it's way gratis, but we had to nurse it home.

I would recommend it but with caution, knowing that eventually the handle will probably crack.

My husband bought this buggy for my baby's first year and at the begining I thought it was too big, but it turns out to be the great present. He loves it, we take it everywhere NO MORE STROLLER. At first it's hard to make some turns but when you get used to it it's fun, even my other two kids can ride my baby on it. I would recommend this buggy, the money it's worth it.

We use this buggy when we go for walks, camping, parks, and fairs. Unfortunately, we bought this in May and by Septmeber, the handle tore right off, even with proper assemlby. I would not recommend this to a friend simply because it is unsafe. I also would not use these in my daycare because they are a safety risk. Too bad because my children loved this buggy.

Good product. Our child learns balance while getting on/off and walks behind the car. However, very disappointed with the poor handle design. After very little normal use our handle broke off.
I would only recommend this product if the company makes replacement handles available. Otherwise, it's useless because it's too low to ground for parent to push and child cannot push himself.

This a great little ride my 3 1/2 yr old pushes my 1 1/2 yr old, so far so good. As mentioned in previous reviews, the handle does wiggle some, so I can see it being an issue when pushing/turning a heavier child. Overall, all is happy!

Santa got this for our 19 month old last Christmas. It was very easy to assemble, and he jumped right on. I love it because I'm a SAHM and we do lots of activites. We love to go to the zoo and his car is a change of pace for him, rather than being in the stroller. The only thing i dont love 100% is the handle seems kinda loose. Its always securely in place, but it just doesnt seem right to me.

I love the idea and our son loves to strap in and go for a ride inside the house or in the lawn. The wheels are definitely silent and it rides smoothly. Not so good is the pull handle that seems kinda flimsy. I did not overtighten the retaining bolt as instructed, but it just seems that its gonna wear out soon with normal use.

I had bought the older model the red one and loved it so much I bought the Whisper Ride Buggy for the quiet reason. Love it a lot all though living in las vegas with it being over 110 degrees the handle had broke off while I was going for a walk with my son. The handle is no good. I purchased this for our one year old grandson. He loves it! It gives him something to ride around in outside (other than his stroller) while his big brother is riding his big wheel! He had outgrown being pushed around in his stroller and this made him feel grownup like his brother. The big brother likes to give little brother a ride inside the house, too. This is a great transition toy from stroller to riding independently. It has a fun horn for baby, place for juice cup, and a place for Mom's cell phone, keys, and water bottle. Another great Step 2 product!

We use this product outside. I push my daughter around the neighborhood. The biggest problem I have found is the handle is too flimsy. It broke at the base of the handle. Other than that this is a good product that my daughter loves to ride in. The rest of the car is in excellent shape, I just wish I could find another handle for it without having to purchase a whole new car for her.

I did an earlier review concerning the flimsy handle on the Whisper ride buggy. I recently contacted the customer service department and was advised they would be sending me a new handle free. I don't know of any other company that is willing to do that. My daughter loves the buggy and I can't waite for the new handle to get here so we can go riding again. We bought this for our 8 month old granddaughter and it has been such a hit with her and her parents. I put it together by myself (the little old granny!!) except for my husband helping with the wheels. I think you need two people to do that. My granddaughter loved it from the minute we put her in it and my daughter is now using it for her walks instead of the stroller. It also makes it easier to walk the dog as well because you only need one hand to push the car. We bought a second one for our house. Really a great purchase. Two of the pushin hubcaps fell off but I called and the company is sending replacement for free. Good customer service.

We LOVE this little car! It's pricier, but unlike the previous version it's not noisy when you go out on the streets. Our boy loves to push it around and honks all the time (the sound is nice and not annoyingly loud). The only thing I'd wish it have - the better seat belts (I'd prefer the ones that go over the shoulder). Otherwise it's fine, feels very stable and safe for the baby.

This is the most adorable push buggy out there. In the beginning, we used this product about three times a week...until about only after having it for approximately 5 months when the handle began cracking on us. It then officially broke 2 months afterwards. I expected better quality with the price of the product, although I must say that now after doing more research on it, I have noticed that that is one of the complaints made from several parents regarding the product. I am pleased to see from a fellow reviewer here on the official Step2 website "anything for the boys" that apparently you can call the company for a replacement handle. Let's just hope that it does not only apply to purchases made on the actual website itself and not ones from your local big name toy stores.

I have owned previous year model and with no complaints. This deluxe model comes with numerous amenities(great) and safety issues! Little fingers are sure to be pinched again and again as hood was flimsy and un safe. You can see they had to cut back somewhere to make room for the amenities!

I love this buggy. I bought two for my two grandsons, 18 months and 14 months. They both love them...so much so they won't go in their strollers anymore! The little boy who I got it for just loves climbing in and out of it. It's very easy for him to do so, he just turned one and has only been walking a short time,but has no trouble doing that. It is very easy for everyone to push him around without bending over, a great feature.

Fantastic product. We have twins that love these cars. We have two of them and love them when we go shopping. It would be a great idea to somehow have them connected or to build a new model for twins or kids close in age. It is a little bit
of a challenge to push two at the same time so we

We purchased this for my 21 month old son because he loved riding in our neighbor's red buggy. We were going to get that one but the Whisper Ride has some better features. He loves the cup holder and it is a lot quiter than the red model. When we take for a walk, my husband and I can actually have a conversation (we couldn't in the red one). Our 17 month old daughter loves this buggy. She loves riding it, pushing the horn, putting things in the hood. It's very cute, easy to navigate. If I had to change anything, I would make it a bit smaller, as we live in an apartment and are pressed for space. Also I would make it so the handle snaps off. My 15 month old son loves this car! We can take him anywhere in it and he doesn't get bored. I would absolutely buy it again because of how much use we get out of it and how much fun he has with it. We purchased the Whisper Ride Buggy for my 8 month old daughter to 'play' in while her big sister (2 years old) rides her bike. Turns out they both love it! It is safe enough with parental supervision for my youngest to ride in and sturdy enough for my oldest to play with. Turning wheels would be nice but it is so easy to turn by slightly pushing down on the handle. I agree that a double buggy would be ideal for families with twins or 2 young kids.

My sons LOVES this car!! I sometimes use it instead of the stroller when we go to the store because he will stay in it longer. It even has a little cup holder and working hood to store snacks when we go to the park. My only complaint is that the handle is VERY flimsy. I bought the buggy for my 1 yr. old granddaughter. After using it just a couple of times the belt snapped. She loves the car and was disappointed that she had to wait for the part to be replaced. Whisper Ride is what it is. It is extremely quiet on any surface. Our Son loves this car. The handle needs some reengineering. The handle breaks easily (broke after about 10 uses) and is poorly fastened by the pin. Caster wheels in front would relieve a great deal of the stress on the handle. Pulling the handle down seems the natural motion to do to steer the car but this bends it badly. If you pull up on the handle it is easier on the handle but hard on the operator.

My grandson just loves his little car! I found it challenging to assemble by myself, but the end product is certainly worth it. Car is great, and it is our 3rd one, and the whisper quiet is true and worth every penny. You would think the other model would not be too loud, but my wife and I joked about going on walks with the old one and how we had to yell over the noise the wheels made.

I love this car and so does my 19 month old. We had one of the older cars but I loved the idea of the whisper quite wheels. Everything is terrific except for the handle. We've only used it a couple of times (just got it for Christmas and we're now starting to get nice weather) and already the handle cracked to the point we couldn't use it. I was ready to fight with customer service to get a replacement for free, but they were terrific and sent us a new handle within just a few days. Same flimsy handle, but at least it's easy to get a replacement. I'll keep calling when the handle breaks until they figure out to use the handle from the old car design on the new cars!

This is a great product. The assembly was a little frustrating but all in all not too bad. Our 19 month old son loves this car. We put many miles on while walking around the neighborhood. Random strangers stop to ask me where we purchased the car because it looks like my son is enjoying it so much and he is. We owned the red version first and it was too loud but it did have a functioning key which was fun for our son. This blue version is much quieter but the key is a sticker which is disappointing. It's a minor complaint because the benefits definitely outweight the negatives. The wheelbase is wider than the red version and a bit tougher to manipulate because of that but still easy to navigate, quite, and a successful purchase. I would buy this for friends and recommend it! Overall we are very happy with this car.

Both my 4 year old and my 10 month old love it! We use the "car" all over -- both indoors and out. The handle is perfect and is a back saver. It's quiet and I use the "trunk" space for diapers/wipes, my cell phone and keys when we go to the park. The only thing I don't care for is the pin that attaches the handle to the car. It's difficult to remove (not a terrible thing with two inquisitive kids), making the storage capability of the handle useless. But that is very minor thing. The car is awesome!! I'd buy it again in a heartbeat.

My 8 month old son loves this buggy. A friend of mine has the regular buggy and this one is definitely "whisper" quiet. My son can sit in this for so long, sometimes I end up pushing him around in the house because he doesn't want to get out. The reason for the 4 stars is that the handle does not seem very secure, wobbles up and down. Also when I take the handle off to transport the buggy, the pin doesn't go in very easily. First we searched everywhere to find this in pink for our little girl and finally just ordered it straight from the website. We had the pink Push Around Buggy and our daughter LOVED it. The only problem was that on the older sections of sidewalk in our neighborhood, the car was SO loud we were always worried we would get a ticket for disturbing the peace!! The solution? The Whisper Ride Buggy!

We use this for 14 mo.old grandson we care for daily. He loves climbing and riding and pushing horn button and using cup holder. The car is very sturdy and well built, only downside is quite a bit of 'play' with push handle, as you need to push down to turn corners, (so front wheels rise), and I am hoping it will take the continued stress. I have had both a red and a pink Step 2 buggy. I have read about the flimsy handles that were corrected and both og my buggys had sturdy handles. I decided to upgrade yesterday to the pink Whisper Ride. The car inself is very sturdy and well made, but I have a flimsy handle now! I am really upset about this because it makes a big difference. I don't want to wait around until it breaks, because it seems inevitable, so I am going to return the pink car because the handle is purple and get the blue car instead because I can switch my sturdy handle from the buggy car to the whisper ride and it will match. STEP 2, PLEASE FIX YOUR FLIMSY HANDLES ASAP. There is no reason for them to skimp on the strength of the plastic, it is the most important piece. It only wastes their time and money and ours.
