The product is great, fortunately I am mechanically inclined so i was able to bend one of the metal round bars so that it fit squarely and properly.

This is a wonderful addition to the buggy! I agree with some of the other reviews though that it is not long enough to provide adequate shade. For those children who do not like strollers this is great because they feel like they are getting a treat and it can be used on outdoor excursions. People who see us using this at the park just grin when they see our granddaughter in it. She loves it!

The canopy did not come with the best installation instructions, so we first tried to drill the necessary holes on the wrong side of the push handle. While it is not sturdy, it is nice to have some sun protection and an extra pocket for keys or a phone. If the sun is directly over-head, it is nice to have the canopy. But, sometimes it does not help at all.
I wish the product would cover better

We liked the red buggy, but absolutely LOVE the Whisper Buggy. The quiet wheels make all the difference. The handle broke, though, after just one week. [...] The canopy is good in theory, but just doesn't work. It's too small to provide any shade & there's no "window" through which you can watch your child throughout the ride. We use our Whisper Buggy EVERY evening (when the sun isn't beating down high overhead). However the canopy was used only once then removed--never to be used again. Fortunately it was fairly inexpensive.

The cover is a cute add on for the buggy cars. It helps protect my daughter from the hot sun during her walks but I wish it was just a little longer for better protection. Worth purchasing though..helps block the sun a LOT more than nothing.

The only thing I thought was strange was that we had to drill holes for the screws to attach the bracket to the handle of the buggy so I needed to wait for my husband to get the drill out before able to use the canopy. But once together it has been great

I purchased this product to use with the Whisper Buggy and found that Step2 sold it for at least half the price of any other web site.
In truth we haven't used it yet as the weather has been too hot to go outside where we live but it probably will be fairly useful in the Fall although I'm a little doubtful as to whether it's big enough yet to truly provide any real coverage but I guess it's better than nothing.
The materials it is made of seem a little cheap and the absence of any proper instructions could provide some difficulties to some people.
Also, you have to screw the canopy into the handle of the Buggy which may be difficult for some people because no holes are provided and although it doesn't say so, you have to scew it into the underside of the handle.

My granddaughter & I use her buggy every day for at least an hour. We have had it for almost a year. When the handle broke, I called for a replacement and I wasn't even charged for it. Not many companies care for their customers to do that. I was very impressed! My precious little granddaughter, Maggie, will be getting more Step 2 toys. Thank you from Maggie's "Ya-Ya" and from Maggie!!!!

I purchased 2 for my twin granddaughters as they were always in the direct sun. The hoods work very good at keeping the sun off their little heads and I have recommended them to people I don't even know, when Im out walking the babies and I see someone with the same car, I tell them to go on the web site and order it. We love it

I purchased this from step 2 and I think it is an essential. It does provide moderate protection from the sun and rain, but it isn't a complete cover up. It has a place for small items like cell, wallet, keys etc made of mesh and also a mesh "viewing screen" The canopy comes in blue, and it is a very sturdy, heavily stitched fabric. It wipes clean easily and also adds some charm and character to your ride on. I would definitely consider this.

This sunshade is a great idea, but it doesn't actually work that well. It should be about a foot longer to provide the coverage from the sun. It is better than no sun shade, but I think it would have been more useful if it were longer. It probably has something to do with the design or quality. If they made it longer, maybe it would not have stayed up or something.

I LOVE the idea of this canopy. I own the original buggy in pink and just bought the whisper ride buggy for my sun (which is awesome) and I was so thrilled to find this canopy. However, it is so small that it's really useless. I actually returned it I was so disappointed. It doesn't even begin to cover him, it needs to be at least another foot long. I think putting a little window or something in is a good idea too when they redesign it, but that's not a biggie.
