Fun flows freely with the River Run Waterpark! A battery-operated pump creates an endless flow of water that cascades through three levels of play space, making it perfect for multi-child play. Four inner tube swimmers and two sailboats are included, along with a dam, paddle wheel, and auto-shut-off pump. (3 D batteries not included)
Trouble with your pump? Use this .

My son loved using this last summer! I liked that he had so much fun with it and love the umbrella for my fair skinned little one. I thought it was a pain to empty and had to do so on a somewhat regular basis since there's no cover for the water basin. I put it away until the following season...when I pulled it out of the shed and replaced the batteries the pump no longer worked. Hmmmm, I wonder how much replacement parts and shipping will run me? I might have to dispose of this and get a water table instead. It's a great concept though as all the kids loved it when it was working.I'd give it 5 stars for my sons enjoyment when it worked, but then there's hassle of cleaning out the dirty water and the fact that it doesn't actually work anymore. I think that averages to a 2 1/2 but I'm feeling nice and rounded up.
Although my son loved this (when it worked), it really needs some improvement. First, we had to get a new stand that hold the pump since ours kept disconnecting. Then, the pump stopped working, so we got a new one. After a few times, that pump stopped working. I would not invest in this product until they improve on it.
The kids like it, i wish it would have more power with the stream of water flow.
When I first purchased this toy the pump system on it was broken so I took it back to the store where I got it and exchaged it for a different one. The next one worked okay.....for about two days and then the pump broke yet again. My 16 month old liked to sit in it and splash so I kept it for that reason, its about all it is good for anyway.
Toy was great and my 17 month old daughter loved to play with it, for about 2 hrs. Had to replace pump, electronics in battery cap melted. It worked for a couple of times after the new pump, then stopped while playing with it. Tried to replace batteries for her, only to smell cooked electronics again! This is a Great toy just needs new pump system. I would recommend this if pump was fixed.
We purchased this product on clearance for [$] as it was missing the umbrella. I have to say that we loved the product at first and it's captivated lots of children's attention on our back porch. When we pulled the product out this summer (used it a few times last year), the pump squealed and sounded rusted. The pump continued to seize and then the on/off button stuck. I threw it out with the trash today. All this being said - I would love to see Step2 overhaul this product. It is a great concept. Please consider a redesign with a stronger/more reliable pump, easier to replace battery compartment, and perhaps some new accessories/water toys.I'd pay full price if the product was reliable.
We have six products by step 2 (Deluxe Kitchen, Sand and Water table, Deluxe Canyon table, Extreme Coaster, Storybook Cottage, and the Clubhouse Climber) and we have always been very pleased with thier products as far as durablity and design along with the [...]....however this product was broken within 1 day and even though they did send a new pump it was the same exact story..again only 1 day of use... also its not stable which is a concern when you have a product that is inteded for young children.. I would not recommed this to anyone however the other products by Step 2 that we have we are very pleased with.
Nice product- our kids enjoy playing with it. Really like the size of the umbrella for outdoor play. The water stream from the pump could be better to move toys (including those packaged with the item) easier.
My son loves this toy he is only 1 and can`t go in the big pool all the time without an adult so it keeps him cool.He got it for a birthday present and only had it for a week and the pump broke. It`s a cute toy and handy for little ones but not worth the money paid for it.A new pump is coming and customer service was helpful i just wish they came up with a better concept
Just like everyone else, that darn pump broke and never really worked right from the get go. But what I will say is that when i called about it they were so pleasant and understanding and prompt. They sent me a new one right away, no questions no hassle.Hopefully the replacement works cause it is a neat toy!

My 2 and 7 year old have had a lot of fun with this toy along with all the kids who have come to visit. My toddler LOVES that he can turn the water on and off. The down side is that the plastic is weak, the pool and upper track were cracked when I purchased the toy - Step2 replaced it right away. Then one of the supports for the wheel broke - again, Step2 replaced it. Now the pump has broke and again Step is replacing it. Either way my kids love this toy and it has gotten a ton of use.
My son loves this toy, but the the pump that came the water park never worked. I returned that one to the store and the pump I recieved would turn on, but not off unless you unscrewed the battery console. The red button timer never worked. Moreover, the pump wouldn't draw water. The company sent a new one, no questions asked and is obviously aware of the problem.
Granddaughter loves the toy.. WHEN IT WORKS.. First pump lasted 22 minutes... Customer Service was great and resent a pump but that lasted 5 hours....An additional tower is also needed for support of the bridge....For the 80 dollars I would purchase something else until this toy is revamped.....
I was very disappointed to learn that the birthday gift I gave my grandchildren would not work. The pump is not affective. I think that with all the bad reviews I have been reading about the pump that Step 2 would have improved/changed the pump. I am going to call the customer service number now and hope that they will stand behind their product. I will write again to let all you consumers know how I was treated.
Very entertaining. Keeps small children occupied for hours! My son (as well as the neighbors children) love it! Yet I feel for the money it could be MUCH STURDIER! The legs under the pump become detached very easily when moved. And overall, the toy just seems cheaply made in general. I am also nervous about all the reviews reporting the pump not working after a short period of time & the button sticking. We have only had this toy for two days... but so far so good. Hopefully I won't be back any time soon to report yet another defective pump! In short, great toy concept, but could use some design improvements. A one piece design in a sturdier hard plastic (like in their furniture toys) would be a much better idea!
I bought this last summer for my then 2 year old daughter. She LOVED to play with it and spent hours on the deck with it. Unfortunately it was late in the season and had to be but up for the winter. When I took it out this spring it still worked great! We have had to change the batteries only once and have had many hours of fun. I have one child who is now 3 and one who just turned 1 and they both love it! I would say that the people who have had it not work didn't put it together right to begin with or haven't taken the time to take it in from extremely bad weather. We empty it each time we are done for the day and have had no mosquito problems either!

My 2-1/2 year old loved this toy! She had a blast splashing around in the water and really liked retrieving the toys at the bottom of the pool. However, within 2 days the button on the pump stopped working. We would push it to turn it on and nothing would happen. Now, we can't get the pump to work at all. At first we thought it was the batteries, but we've replaced them twice and it still does not work. So, without a pump this toy is useless. Even though, I would still recommend this water table if your child loves to play in the water. Hopefully you won't get a lemon like we did. Just keep in mind, this toy is really big. It takes up A LOT of space and it's not easily stored. PLus, it's not cheap!

I have to agree with the other negative reviews. The pump broke within ten minutes of putting it together. What a disappointment. Step 2 customer service was very pleasant and quickly sent a replacement pump, but the new pump broke a week later. Even when the pump worked there was not enought water flow to spin the wheel or float the boats. The whole thing was pretty rickety. My one-and-a-half year old wanted to climb on it but it would have collapsed under his weight. First Step2 product I've purchased - reluctant to try any others.

My twins and nieces love(loved) it. Unfortunately, we only got to use it about 4x. They pushed to on/off with sandy hands and now the button won't hardly work at all. I love that it shuts off after five mins. The waterflow was good considering the ages. My 16mt old twins want to climb in and through it though. We will continue trying to play with it. It's very cool.

this product lasted less then two weeks before it craped out on me i would not recommended this product for anyone who has children or who provides child care. the biggest wast of time i have ever had the displeasure of paying for!!!!!!!! as far the customer support goes i found them as useful as a pile of stones. they should have a recall on the water pump.
I bought this toy as an alternative to a "water table" thinking that my daycare children would really enjoy it. Unfortunatly, although the set-up is "cute", the pump does not work very effectively. It is supposed to have an automatice shut-off switch to save the batteries, it will not shut-off at all!!!! I have to totally disassemble the pump unit to shut it off! I am very disappointed with this system. I paid[$]for a toy that doesn't work.
My son rec'd this item for his second birthday... he lost interest in it very quickly. The pump is a major pain. I don't think it ever really worked right.
My triplets enjoy playing with water and were very excited about this product but I was disappointed that the pump stopped working after only three days of use.

I'm so disappointed that Step 2 would sell such a poorly made product. Batteries are difficult to change, pump doesn't work most of the time. I should have sent it back immediately. They should take this product off the market. I could have purchased so many other toys for the price I paid for this junk.
The pump can not be left outside which is a pain. We bought it last year for our daughters b-day and by mid-summer the pump was turning on when no one was even outside but when the kids went to play with it the pump never worked. From the start the kids found the water flow too weak.
Stick to a basic sand-water table
The day we got it a piece of dirt got into the pump and it stopped working. Horrible.
I thought my kids would love it but after 20 min they were having more fun with the kiddie pool.
The assembly for the motor is difficult to insert into the housing and everytime you want to change batteries, you must unscrew 5 screws. There should be a better way to secure the housing to the base without having so many screws!
My kid loves this, he's been asking for a month when he'll be able to use it again. After a summer of enjoyment last year, the kids clogged the pump and shorted it out. I just got off the phone with Michelle at Customer Service for Step2, they were great at supporting and replacing the pump!
My grandson really enjoyed this
My 2 year old loves this toy!

Difficult to assemble. Near impossible to change batteries. Easily comes apart. Pump is pathetic. All other Step 2 products we own are a 5 (Fire Engine Bed, Swing, Outdoor cottage, slide). This one needs to go back to the drawing board.

My kids loved it, but you can't leave it outside.
Ours stop working after a month, way to much money for how long it lasted. Stick to water tables.

Our Kids will play with this toy from the time we set it up untill it gets to dark to play outside.
We have had at least 20 hours of usage without a baterie change or any other dificulties.
As long as the toy is set on a flat surface you can get a Powerful Water Stream. The more uneven the ground less watter gets to the pump.

I fell in love with the concept of this toy especially since my two young kids and my husband and I spent a lot of time on the lazy river this summer. So, I thought that I would set this up in the basement during the long, cold winter and the kids could relive their summer. My kids were very excited to see it. The first time they played with it for about 10 minutes. Second time (a few days later) almost 5 minutes and now they just walk past it. I also provide daycare out of my home for the neighborhood kids (10 of them). Again, they were very excited to see it but lost interest very quickly and it is now in the way. I thought for sure that this was the "MUST HAVE" toy and it was a flop. It was built well, the pump is a little weak (but was expected because it is battery powered) but it works fine. For the minimal play it did have, it seems that it is ready for the batteries to be changed, that seemed a bit quick.

I bought this for my son, who would play in the water all day long if I let him. He loves it! As do my older children. We bought it in April 2007, and it worked great all summer long. We had to replace the batteries often, but it was worth it! My son would play with it for hours at a time. One thing that was difficult was draining it. It's heavy when it's full of water, and hard to dump out, and I ended up breaking part of the bottom pool that's connected to the slide because the screw was at a weak point. I used my power drill and added a couple more screws, and that did the trick! It never broke apart again.

Easy to assemble and fill, however, the pump did not work well. Despite purchasing several quality batteries, the pump failed within one week. The pump made a lot of noise with no water being dispensed. Not worth your money or the time being frustrated. :(

Fun, but gets apart very easy.

We bought this for our son's birthday, and he loved it. Unfortunately it did not withstand the test of time. The assembly was difficult. The battery replacement is inconvenient. The lower pool has a hole in it, which renders it useless. The whole thing falls apart when trying to move it around to cut the lawn, and it is not easy to reassemble. It isn't very sturdy. It also is not easy to empty the water, and if you leave the water in too long it is a breeding ground for mosquitos, bugs and mold! The fun factor was a 10, but the durability leaves much to be desired. Leave this one on the shelf.

We were very excited to buy this for our son's birthday, and he initially had a lot of fun with it. It was difficult to put together, and the battery replacement is very inconvenient. The water wheel never really worked correctly, and although the shape of it is convenient for multiple kids to play, it is difficult to move to mow the lawn. It came apart several times when changing locations. The pool on the lower level also got a hole in the bottom which was the end of my son's fun with this toy. All in all we were very disappointed that it didn't hold up especially for the money we put out. Wished it would have lasted more than a few months!

I bought this for my daughter's birthday in June. By mid-August it stopped working. The pump broke. I wish I would have read reviews before I got it.

I can't believe people are giving this toy so many stars. This toy was such a heartbreaker for us. It was very difficult to get the pump running in the first place. Every time one of my three young children touched the red button, the pump would stop working. This resulted in an entire family meltdown that could be heard for blocks. We had such high hopes for this toy! Step 2 very nicely sent us a replacement pump, but it has the same problems- weak flow, stops for no reason, clogs easily, etc. The toy also needs some sort of plug, because it's impossible to empty without lifting it to dump it out (I agree- the hose they include for emptying it is useless.) Even if the hose worked to empty out the clean water, it's not going to clean out all the rainwater and debris that collects every night. Unfortunately, as soon as I tipped the toy over to empty it, the one screw holding it together ripped through the plastic and now there's nothing to keep it in one piece. My children do enjoy just playing in the lower pool, but we have a water table that's much better for that sort of play. It's very sad that my parents paid so much money for this lemon of a toy and my children will never be able to fully enjoy its potential.

My girls love the product, but I agree with previous reviews. The product is not easy to dump or clean. The products leg is not stable, the pump is weak and broke within a month. [...] I feel the idea is great but the design needs improvement.

I bought the River Run Water Park for my 2 year old son. He LOVES it! I can't keep him out of it.
There are several things that could be improved upon. 1. It is very difficult to clean and fill. I have to remove the bottom resevior after emptying to clean it out. (Possibly a drain should added) 2. The 2 screw holes to secure the bottom slide to the resviors were missing, but this ended up being a god send, since it would be a hassle to take the screws out each time I cleaned it. 3. the ring for the pump will not stay on 4. pump clogs easily (some kind of filter may be needed here) 5. the legs to the tower should be sturdier. since i have to remove the resivior so much for cleaning, i can see them easily braking, plus they make that side of the toy a little wobbly.
Those are the problems I have found with the toy, but they dont overshadow the enjoyment my son gets from the toy. Just some minor adjustments should be made on the next version. I love it!
I bought this for my son, who will be two and the preschool where I work. My son and my six year old daughter love it and have spent hours outside with it. If they are not in the pool they are playing with the waterpark. My children at the daycare also love this product and seems to be durable enough to sustain 10 toddlers and older on a daily basis.
We love it!

The product for the most part is great. The kids love playing with it and it keeps them entertained for quite some time. The stream sounds like a waterfall so it is relaxing to listen to and not annoying like a lot of other toys. I have a 2 year old and a 6 year old and they both love playing with it.

When I started putting it together I was pretty sure it wasn't a good choice because it was so awkward to maneuver. The ring that holds the legs for the pump housing never would stay on and a clip holding the ring was missing. The screw that held the second level to the third level slid out;if we wanted to move it we had to do it in pieces. It's a mosquito breeder if you leave it out but not durable enough to move around. It has been sitting empty for a week and today was hot so we decided to fill it up but it didn't work so I replaced the batteries. It still doesn't work. Black rusty water ran out of the battery holder all over our clothes. There is a very fine wire inside the battery cannister that was probably just barely attached at each end by a dot of soder and it's broken. It was just barely long enough to stretch end to end and I guess it just gave way. I am so aggravated I can't stand it. I've bought the sand and water table, the kangaroo climber, the sand table, a chair and the kitchen from step2. I had every reason to believe that this was a quality toy. It's junk. Step2 should refund everybody's money and the designer should have to sit and watch that stupid video for 24 hours straight. I really am going to return it [...]and request a refund. [...].

Definitely not worth the purchase price. We are on our 3rd pump. Pump clogs very easily. Pump is not very powerful (not sure what was used on the promo video to spin the water wheel - our pumps haven't worked that well). The upper portion has broken off from the bottom portion when attempting to move. The drainage hose is useless (you must remove the water wheel to attach and it doesn't drain the toy completely forcing you to pick it up to empty).
It's too bad our 16 month enjoys this so much since it's such a disappointment whenever it stops working.
This is my 14 month olds FAVOURITE toy! He can spend hours playing with the boats and other toys. He also loves to put his feet in the "pool" at the bottom and often sits in it as well.
We find that the water stream should be A LOT stronger as the water doesn't even move the wheel or push the boats.
A plug should be installed in the bottom pool area for easy emptying of the water.

We bought this for my two year old and I was SO disappointed when we couldn't get the pump to work. We replaced BOTH kinds of batteries twice, and after it still wasn't working took it back to the store. They replaced the pump but is STILL WON'T WORK. I'm very disappointed. So is my son.
The product quality is excellent. My husband had some difficulty in assembly as one of the pieces did not initially align correctly. I understand the recommended age is 2+, but I wanted to try it anyways since my 19-month old daughter loves water play. She has fun with it, but only for a few minutes at a time. She would rather stomp her feet in the pool area. She also is too impatient to wait for the toys to flow down the stream (she throws them herself). She also pushes the on and off button a lot which I am sure isn't good for the battery life. The umbrella is a nice feature for shade.
Got this a B Day gift for my 1 yo. Ok set up and like other comments it was missing the screw hole. A nice idea thta can be hours of fun but needs a 2.0 version. The slides are wobbly but don't tip. The only real area the needs attention is the water pump it's a little loud for the littel ones and the when the top part is filled there isn't enough water to turn the paddle wheel. Batteries seam to last from 1-2 hours a set.
All in all a nice water product but needs a little refinement.
A great idea! Better than other water tables because of the continuous flow. The whole neighborhood loves it. Worth the price. Get the umbrella. It is very tall and spans a good coverage.

Not that exciting, got bored with it very quickly, several things on it has already broken. Would not purchase again.
Fun!! Fun!! The stream could be a little stronger, but my 2 yr old "helps" the boats along and has not tired of this toy. We are having a party in a few weeks with 8 little Guatemalan 2 yr olds in attendance(all adopted, like our son)and can't wait to see how much the little ones like this toy!!

Was not happy with the quality of the product for the price. When it comes to step two products I always assume great quality becuase until now I hadn't seen otherwise. This is a poorly constructed toy. Not happy with it.
Both my 4 year old and 2 year old, LOVE this new toy. The pump is louder than I thought it would be and it isn't to easy to empty or clean out. I haven't had to replace the batteries yet, but it looks like it will be difficult because you have to unscrew the tower to get to them. The umbrella should be attached, because on a windy day it can blow away. This toy will provide hours of fun and is safe!
Wish the batteries would last longer. 2's love to press buttons and keep on.
This is the second one we've bought for different grandchildren and nephews and they love it.
