This was a present for my three year old granddaughter's birthday. Her mom said she needed something for water play other than the kitchen sink. This was the perfect answer. She plays with it for hours. As yet, the pump is still pumping strong and she has played continually for about a week. We'll keep our fingers crossed. We make sure the water is filled above the pump line. My 9 mo. old grandson loves playing in it, too, if we lift him up to reach inside. He's fascinated while watching his sister. A wonderful investment.

Our kid really loves to play with the sink, as expected.

The pump is of poor quality, also expected considering that a good pump would make this product much more expensive.

The sink does not include a drainage system, which means any time you want to empty it, you have to lift the whole sink up and turn it upside down. This would not be so bad, if it were not for the poor quality pump. I experienced that the pump stopped working every time after I replaced the water. I believe this is due to air trapped in the pump after emptying out the water (and no, I don' have the pump running while replacing the water). To get the pump to run again I usually have to take it apart and reassemble it. This is a pain and requires 12 (!!!) screws to be unscrewed.

All in all you have to decide whether this product is worth the trouble. I am starting to think it might not be, even though my son thoroughly enjoys playing with the sink.

It appears to me that the pump could be improved easily without increasing the cost substantially, by introducing a plunger that would allow to pump the air out of the system without disassembly.

It did not come with enough screws to put it together right. But Grandpa being the engineer new what to do and found extra screws to hold it all together. All 3 grand kids (2,4,&7) love it.

An absolute must for children who love to play with the sink. This unit has a faucet that turns and water that pumps out from the sink. No need to connect to outside water sources. I thought this was a very cute idea & knew my boys would enjoy it, as they love to play in the bathroom sink. However, the motor did not hold up more than two weeks and it is no longer working! I read other reviews before I purchased this product and knew that it may be a problem. I have never had any problems with other Step 2 products, so I decided to give it a try. My boys loved it while it worked, but now it is useless. I would definitely not recommend this product to others. It needs some work! I plan to return it.

The pump broke the second day my kids used it and I was careful to not let them put any dirt or sand in it. It also did not include all of the equipment to assemble it. We had to buy our own screws. Don't buy it.

the sink all together is great. my son loves to play with the sink because the water that constantly flows out of the faucet. it is even better that you just fill it up and it doesn't require a hose to run the water through it. it didn't have all the screws needed to put it together but wasn't too much of a problem

We bought this for our 24 month old daughter. It arrived and she instantly knew what was in the box. As soon as my husband was home he assembled it, and she was in love. She used it in the kitchen for an hour or so, and since we have hard ceramic tile, it was going to be easy to clean. However, the faucet was never going fully, (water trickling out) and there was a leak at the bottom of the faucet. We called Step2 that moment, and immediately were given a new faucet, mailed out the following day. We put the sink on the backporch for the night, and the next morning all the water had drained out. Upon examination, there were multiple tiny pin-prick like holes in the bottom of sink. Called again, and this time Step2 said we were being sent an entire new sink. Told them the faucet was already coming for the other one. The new sink arrived within the week, and after three days, that faucet wasn't working either. So while in theory this is a fantastic idea, it just doesn't work well, and needs a lot of improving. Anytime it is working (my husband regularly "works" on it at daughter's request), she does enjoy it, but the one working faucet is so slow, it doesn't hold her attention like it did when the faucet worked for the first three days. And the batteries are also in a tricky spot to replace.

Little screws where hard to put into pump holes, some areas did not have the predrilled holes, pump started to leak after about 20 minutes of play. Holes didn’t line up, had to really push hard on the cover that goes around the button/battery holder and they still didn’t line up all the way. Not looking forward to taking it off to replace the batteries. Being a child care provider and a grandparent I have put a lot of these things together, this one didn't have a lot of parts but the ones they had were a pain.

We love the Fun Flow Play Sink! My kids love the "faucet" and wash things for hours. Because the sink is so deep, when the kids splash (all the time) they don't splash all the water out. This is one of the best purchases and great value for hours of FUN!

Purchased this item along with another step 2 product from an online distributor. When the product finally arrived my son thought it was wonderful except of course the waterflow. When figured maybe the batteries needed replaced. Well that was a bad idea. We changed the batteries and now the pump will not shut off at all. Not on it's own or when you push the button. Not to mention the waterflow which caused this whole fiasco. I would recommend this product to a friend if the pump was improved. It really is a great idea, and my children really used their imagination with both products. To Bad both pumps are bad after two uses.

My son is 21 months old & absolutely loves this toy! i had purchased the L.T. sand & water playtable (the one with a "fun" castle, dragon, etc, and a lid) which was such poor quality... it totally sucked. i bought this after spending 4 months fighting with that other company for my money back. the instant i got my refund, i purchased this and it is my son's favorite toy. it is well constructed, durable, easy to assemble, and super entertaining for him. my son is high energy and has a very short attention span - he plays with this for 1-2 hours each afternoon! the faucet is his favorite part because he can turn it on, off, or rotate it to either side of the sink. it's deep enough for him to pile all his water toys in it and compact enough for me to carry inside every night. this is such a great toy for the money! please buy this for your kids! they will love it! :)

I bought the Fun Flow Play Sink for my daughter's 3rd birthday and it is by far her favorite gift. She has been "very busy" cleaning everything in sight. We specifically told her that she can't get the water too dirty after reading comments about problems with the filter and flow. She is adhering to that reminder as well as a 3-year old can and 2 weeks later with much use and being stored outside on our patio, it is still running strong. And regarding the noise/loudness level, it is perfect for this mom because I can hear if it is on and thus avoid running down the batteries.

This is a great toy for our 2 year little boy. He loves the water and he gets so excited talking about "His sink". It helps with motor skills and he is always finding different ways to pour water and such. He also loves the fact that he can turn it on and off by himself.

My 2 year old daughter loves this sink and so do I! We play with it everytime we are outside. She loves the constant flow of water, it's not as loud as some people said it is (after all it IS motorized...you'll hear the motor!), it never scared her, and we're still on the first set of batteries (they're even an off-brand battery). The pump sometimes just needs to be shut off for a few second or adjusted to get the flow stronger. Overall, very happy with the product!

We had to get a new pump right away, and the new one seems to let out alot less water-it is just a tiny stream. The pump appears to have a feature that turns itself off after 15 or so minutes, and this is such a fun toy that the kids always try turning it back on. Repeated pressing of the button seems to hinder its performance even more. Too bad because all the kids who come over love to play with this sink!

This little sink is so perfect for backyard fun. If the pump would work . I bought this for my grandson's birthday . He and his little brother were so excited to play with it . They got about 3o minutes of fun and then the pump went out. My daughter called customer service and they immediately sent another pump. When it arrived it was immediately installed and again it went out. So they gave up and sent the sink back. The result was two sad little boys .

Kids love to play in the sink so this is great fun for preschoolers and toddlers! They can turn the water on and just let it run. I keep it on the deck. I have not experienced any problems but I wonder if it would plug up easily of sand or dirt got into it. It's great on the deck though.

Our first pump lasted 40 minutes and the replacement pump sent by Step 2 worked for about 5 minutes. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!!!

The pump broke the first day and I emailed Step2. They replied immediately and sent me a new pumup. It works great and he loves it. Now he doesn't have to play in the real sink and he can use this all day with the same water. It's great fun indoors and outside too. Very entertaining!

I'm surprised that Step2 has not done something to FIX this pump situation!!! They KNOW the pump is of extremely poor quality, so they should either "recall" the bad pumps and replace them with actual pumps that work, or they should just send each customer that has purchased this sink -- A NEW PUMP THAT WORKS -- not just replace the bad pump with another exactly the same bad pump.

Another negative design factor is the fact that there is NO DRAINAGE SYSTEM for the sink! There should be a plug at the bottom of the sink in order to let the water flow out! There is NONE and you have to dump water out buckets at a time in order to get the water out. Having stagnate water sitting in the sink for days at a time, is not very "healthy" to say the least. I don't really understand how they could have forgotten something like -- a drain plug?

My toddler loves this product. I am happy with the creative idea and overall design of the product, but there are a few obvious things that should be different, especially with a product that cost over $60 with shipping. I was not able to find it in any local stores, so that was my only option. The motor is much too weak and the battery life is ridiculous. My son has a battery-operated vehicle that cost the same amount and has a powerful motor with a rechargeable battery. I would pay $100 for this product if it had a powerful motor that lasted with a strong rechargeable battery. That make an enormous difference with this product. I'm looking at spending $30 on a charger and rechargeable batteries, or paying for the product twice over by the end of summer buying disposable batteries. That does not make me happy, as my son plays with this an hour a day and the batteries are dead EVERY day! I have to empty the water and tip it upside down to change the batteries. Even with brand new top quality Energizer batteries, the motor gets weaker every day. I keep the product very clean and tidy with clean water toys, but it needs a new motor already:-( Sorry to sound harsh, but what panel of idiots tested this product? Great idea, but needs A LOT of work. I have never had such a difficult time with assembly either. The housing around the motor has the smallest screws and the deepest holes. It took forever to get that together.

I had already read about the pros and cons of this item before I ordered it. It is a wonderful concept but the faucet stopped working during the first use. I am going to have to contact the manufacturer for a replacement faucet - we have taken it apart a number of times and it will not work. The children were so excited to play with it - too bad it has this recurring problem.

I've done a decent amount of research on water tables in the last few weeks because my daughter love to play with water. And this one ended up at the top of the list mainly because of the interactive and fun factors--the flowing faucet and the various cups/toys that go with it. I've also been very impressed by the quality of the Step2 products that we have purchased in the past. I purchased the product because there aren't comparable products, it won an award and we've had a great experience with Step2 products.

I'm very glad I purchased this sink. It's the perfect water toy for my 21-month-old daughter. Pump works well. Waterflow is good, just like in the photo in the ad. And the product is sturdy. My daughter enjoys this product very much. She plays with the cups and gives her plastic animals a bath in it. It's perfect on a hot summer day! I know that kids that come over for playdates will enjoy this as well.

My only suggestions for future enhancements to the product are the addition of a drain and a quieter pump. But these are minor issues and do not detract from the entertainment and learning values at all.

My son is VERY small for his age (18mo) he wears 9mo. clothes so when I saw the mesurments of this product I was very excited because it would be small enough for him to stand at and play with. He loved this sink for about a week then just like some of the reviews said the pump stopped working!!!! this is a great toy for a week if you dont mind mopping the floor when they are done, water does end up all over the place but it a good excuse to mop the floor.

My grandson loves his new sink. He actually gets in the sink and plays with the toys! This is hours of fun time for him and his friends. We have some problems with the faucet continually running, but it seems to correct itself. In any event, the company quickly sent out another pump and faucet assembly. LOVE IT!
